Chapter 11

AILINN

This morning I woke up in a great mood. A better mood than usual to say the least. I changed and got ready for the day and walked to the kitchen.

"You seem in a very good mood" my mom said and I turned to her and smiled widely.

"I am mom in a amazing mood actually" I told her as I poured myself a cup of coffee.

"Really and why is that" she asked me curiously as we both sat down on chairs across from each other at the table.

"I had a lot of fun yesterday to say the least" I told her and she raised her eyebrow at me.

"Was the barbecue that much fun" she asked me suspiciously.

"It was fun actually but it wasn't just that the whole day went amazing thanks to you of course" I told her and I finished up my coffee. I got up from the chair and started walking back into my room. "I'll be in my room call me if you need anything" I told her and she nodded. As soon as I entered my room I received a message from Jefnier.

Jefnier:Let's hang out again before you leave

Me:I'm free all day today I think my mom is heading to work early to come back early

Jefnier:I'll pick you up in 30

I quickly got up from my bed and checked what I was wearing which I approved of. I rechecked my makeup and I applied a bit of mascara since I feel like I needed more. I put my shoes on and I walked back to the kitchen. My mom was washing her dish and she was already in her work uniform.

"Hey mom I'm going to go out with Jefnier" I told her and she nodded.

"Be back by six since I get off at five and we can do something like have a movie night and hang out"she said and I nodded.

Jefnier: I'm here

"Okay I'm leaving" I told her and said goodbye to her. I walked out the door and instantly saw Jefniers car. I walked towards it and I opened the car door.

"Hi ailinn" he said and I greeted him back. I sat down and closed the door.

"So where are we going" I asked him as he began driving.

"We are going to go get some ice cream because i am really craving some and I know you always are down for some ice cream" He said and I grinned. He knows me way to well and I got excited at the thought of a Sunday. I do have a massive sweet tooth.

"We are going to Miguel's right" I asked him with a big smile and he nodded.

"Of course" he answered as he pulled in to Miguel's ice cream shop. Once he parked I practically jumped out of the car. "Some one is excited" Jefnier said letting out a light laugh. We walked in to the ice cream shop and it was empty besides Miguel of course which is weird since this place is usually packed. 

"Hi Miguel" I said and he turned us gave us a huge smile.

"Hi guys how have you guys been" he asked us.

"Good and you how have you been" Jefnier said to Miguel and his face dropped a little.

"Not very good there's been less and less customers well I mean you can tell"he said with a slight frown. Which caused me to get a bit sad this place has been open since I can remember it would be a shame for it to close.

"So let's get that sad stuff out of the way what can I get for you two" he asked us with a smile.

"I'll have a hot fudge sundae" I told him and he nodded then turned to Jefnier.

"I'll have a banana split" he told him and Miguel nodded. He began to make our ice creams and we sat down.

"It would be a shame for him to close he makes the best ice cream around here" Jefnier said and I nodded agreeing. He quickly took a picture with his phone and started typing. I then received a notification saying that he posted something. It was like a little promo for the shop in hope to get people to come here.

"Your ice cream is ready" Miguel said and Jefnier got up. He paid for them and he grabbed the ice cream. He placed the ice cream on the table and we began to eat it.

"God I'm going to miss this" I said as I finished up my sundae. "These past couple of days I've been here I think 'maybe I shouldn't leave and I should just drop out of school and stay' but that would be a stupid decision" I told Jefnier and he nodded.

"I get it that you miss it but don't drop out you worked way to hard to get in to that school. You can come during your breaks and stuff"he said and I nodded. "Plus I'm sure you can find some good ice cream over there as well" he said and I laughed lightly and nodded.

"I get homesick sometimes but maybe now that I am the sweetheart at a fraternity it will be a little different I might feel more at home" I told him and he forced a smile. He still wasn't to happy at the fact that I will be living in the same house as my ex for the next three and half years.

"Yep a house filled with a bunch of guys who like the to party" he said in a very annoyed tone but I decided to ignore it. He is going to have to get use to it if he wants us to get back together. This is an amazing opportunity for  me all the connections and advantages I will get with this. Plus all of the friends I'll make well I am already friends with all of them.

"Are you going on tour anytime soon" I asked him as we got up from the table and said goodbye to Miguel.

"I'm not sure actually I was talking to my manager and he said I will probably go on tour early next year since my album is just releasing"he told me and I nodded. We got back into the car and I checked the time it was just about to be twelve. He began driving some where and didn't tell me where we were going. I didn't bother asking him it's not like he's going to kill me.

"What time is your flight tomorrow" he asked me.

"It's like at nine in the morning" I told him with a slight frown on my face. "I'm kinda sad I didn't spend that much time with my mom because she works all the time" I told him truthfully.

"Good thing you guys are hanging out today" he said and I nodded. He parked in a spot at the beach. I haven't been at a beach in a long time. A pool yes because the frat has one it's an indoor one. But it obviously doesn't hit the same as the beach. We got off the car and started walking to the beach and Jefnier grabbed my hand.

"I haven't been at a beach since June" I told him as I smiled brightly looking at head. I loved the sound of crashing waves it was my favorite sound ever.

"I haven't had much time either these past couple of months" Jefnier said and we started walking near the water.

"I've always seen my self living by the beach. I don't know if in a house or an apartment but I've always seen my self living somewhere where the water is literally walking distance" I told him and I took off my shoes and rolled up my jeans so I can walk on the water and wet sand.

"Me too" he said with a smile on his face.

"I've always wanted to learn how to surf" I told him randomly as I looked at a couple of guys surfing near us.

"We should learn" he said and I turned to him.

"I would be so down when I come back for winter break" I told him. I already kinda figured I will be back for two months both December and January.

"Okay then I will wait for you so we can both learn" he said and I smiled.

"How about you learn first so you can teach me" I suggested at him and he raised his eyebrow at me but nodded.

"Okay then I will learn from here to December so when you come back I can try to teach you" he said to me and he put his hand out for me to shake it which I did. "We should see the sunrise tomorrow morning before you leave" he suggested.

"I would love to" I told him with a big smile. "Maybe we can go on an early swim" I told him and nodded with a grin on his face. I checked the time on my phone and it said it was already three in the afternoon.

"Do you want to go to my house and chill until my mom gets there" I asked him and he nodded. We began to walk back to his car and he drove back to my house.

That's what we did we ended up going back to my house and we talked. We even cuddled until my mom got there. We tried to avoid that topic of getting officially back together. Just because I'm leaving tomorrow and we aren't ready for that if I'm being honest with you. I wasn't ready because last time we were in a similar situation things ended bad to say the least.
