Hazel

"Frank!" Hazel lunged forward to help him, but Reyna held her back, pinning back her arms. Hazel screamed.

"Let me help him!" she demanded, tears running down her face.

"No," Reyna answered firmly. Hazel cried out and struggled, jerking her hands from Reyna's grasp. She ran to the edge of the castle, pushing Reyna. She hit her head on a rock, not hard enough to kill her, but enough to knock her unconscious. On the ground at the foot of the castle, Frank lay motionless. Hazel choked on a rising sob. Tears poured.

She had only just gotten back to him. She's just gotten her family back together. After months of Amnesia and suffering, he's finally been back with her husband and daughter again, and now he was gone.

She turned, her hands over her mouth, trying to muffle her traumatized bawling, and slid down the stone wall.

Her life had just taken the free lane to Tartarus.
