First Scare

After everyone had finished eating and helped clean up, they all went to play and Benjamin was going to pick up Tux when he couldn't find him. Benjamin looks under the table and sighs, "I could've sworn Isaac gave Tux to me before we went to breakfast. Maybe I dropped him in the library?" He goes to the library and looks around, "Tux? Are you in here?" He checks behind things, around corners, but couldn't find Tux anywhere.

Benjamin whimpers, "Oh no....I swear he was with me at breakfast..." His eyes water and he hears footsteps behind him and a voice, "Looking for something?" Benjamin turns around and sees Jackson, and in his hand was Tux. Benjamin leaped for his toy but Jackson held it away rom him. Benjamin growls, "Give him back! He's mine!" Jackson laughs and pushes Benjamin, "What's so special about this?" He holds Tux and has his other hand on one of Tux's arms, "If it's a boy, why is it wearing a skirt? It's just a dumb toy."

Benjamin had tears falling down his face, "Tux was given to me from my great grandmother." Jackson chuckles, "Aww, poor you. You're crying over something that's not alive. Besides, you look to old for toys like this anyway." After saying that, he grips Tux's arm and pulls it, trying to rip it off. Benjamin tries to grab Tux, but Jackson had s strong grip and he held onto Tux's head, and when they pulled, the stitches on Tux almost rip, and Jackson tries to make Benjamin let go by punching him, and it caused Benjamin to get a black eye. 

The lights go out for a moment, flickering fast and Jackson was now standing face to face with a giant cat, and it gave him a wide toothy smile, its button eyes staring directly into his soul. Jackson backs away as the monster goes forward and it speaks, "Just try anything to hurt my kid again....I dare you....and I'll have you as my dinner." Jackson gulps and points at the cat, and tries to be tough, "I'm not scared of a dumb cat like you!" 

Tux growls, "You should be..." He opens his mouth and lets out a demonic roar in the boy's face. Jackson screams and he dashes out the library quickly, yelling in fear. Benjamin pants and he feels the large cat nuzzle his cheek. He pets the monster and hears footsteps coming back. Tux transforms back into a plush and the door opens, some of the matrons come in, and all the children came as well.

Jackson was panting and pointing, "I swear, it's in here! Right th-" He sees Benjamin but no monster cat, other than the plush. Matron Sue walks over and kneels at Benjamin and she touches his face, seeing the black eye, "What happened to your eye sweetheart?" Benjamin points at Jackson, "He tried to rip Tux and he started punching me..." She stands back up and looks at Jackson, "Is this true?" 

Jackson stutters, "Well, yeah but that toy turned into a monster and it threatened me!" Matron Murial looks at him, "Jackson, when are you going to learn NOT to hurt everyone here? There is no monster, it's just a boy that you gave a black eye to and tried to rip his own toy!" She takes Jackson away and Matron Sue takes Benjamin and puts some ice in a small zip bag and gently puts it over his eye, "Go to the room, we'll take care of everything. Jackson is going to have a long timeout in the cellar." 

Benjamin goes to the room and Esther walks over to him, "Are you okay, Benjamin?" He nods, "Yeah, and Tux is okay too. Jackson was right about one thing..." Esther looks at him, "What about?" Benjamin looks at her, "Tux is different....he can sometimes....change and get protective of me." Esther thinks, trying to process what he was saying and her eyes widen, "Y-You mean he can..." Benjamin nods, "He can turn into a monster sometimes."
