Chapter 11: Nightmares and Forgiveness

In the outlands Badili was pacing around the volcano, thinking of a plan to get revenge on Kion. He thought and thought, but then there was this feeling inside him this guilty feeling. He knew he wasn't evil, and somehow got brainwashed into being evil. He decided that it was time to make up for his actions, and apologize to Kion. So he went, without telling Scar or Janja he left and went to the pride lands.

In the pridelands, Kion and the guard were busy helping a cliff springer out of a stream.

"Kion! the current is too strong! It'll wash the cliff springer away!" Said Ono worryingly.

"Don't worry Ono, we're gonna get that cliff springer out of that stream! Fuli! me and you will pick a horn everyone stay back!" Said Kion yelling over the rushing waters.

Kion and Fuli held on to it's horns tightly and dragged the cliff springer out of the stream.

The cliff springer happily sprung off and Kion and Fuli lay flat on the ground panting, out of breath.

"Kion, Fuli you okay?" Asked Beshte.

"Yeah, we're okay Beshte just worn out." Said Kion breathing heavily.

Just then, Badili came right where Kion and Fuli were laying and was about to speak, when Bunga saw him and approached him.

"HEY! YOU MEANIE! BACK AWAY!" Said Bunga angrily, folding his arms.

Everyone then noticed the leopard, and growled.

"No no no! please I'm not here to cause any trouble I just need to talk to Kion!" Pleaded Badili.

Kion then regained his energy and approached Badili, growling.

"What do you want Badili?" Questioned Kion furiously.

"Look, I'm sorry for everything I did to you Kion, and I'm also sorry for joining Janja, I'm just here to apologize, I should've never went so low just because you were with Fuli, I won't get in your way again I promise!" Said Badili.

"Well, I accept your apology Badili, after all Hakuna Matata right?" Said Kion smiling.

"Yeah of course! thanks Kion for accepting my apology." Said Badili.

"Of course." Said Kion smiling.

Badili ran back to his tree, to take a nap for the rest of the day.

Kion and his friends decided to head in the lair, and rest up for their next patrol.

While they were in the lair, Fuli was flinching and having a nightmare.

It started by Kion and Fuli just casually chatting.

"Yeah, I know it was you were fast! good thing you didn't need any backup." Said Kion smiling at Fuli.

"Yeah, but I can handle it any animal in danger, they can always count on me to save them." Said Fuli smiling back.

"Yeah, WOAH!"

"OH NO KION!" Yelped Fuli.

Kion fell off the cliff, and that's when Fuli woke from her dream.

Kion was sitting on his rock, when he heard Fuli yelp in her sleep so he had to to do the best thing, when his mate is crying, comfort her.

"Fuli, are you okay?" Said Kion looking worried.

Fuli's yelling awoke the rest of the guard in the lair, and they looked startled.

"Sorry guys, we didn't mean to wake you, uh me and Fuli are gonna step outside for a minute we'll be back." Said Kion to his friends.

He and Fuli went outside the lair, Fuli was almost in tears.

"I'm sorry Kion... it's just I had another nightmare... about me loosing you.." Said Fuli sniffling.

"Shh, it's okay don't worry I'm here." Said Kion comforting her, rubbing his head on hers.

"Hey guys, maybe we should get up after all Kion's up." Said Bunga hopping off his rock.

"Yeah, I guess you're right little b." Said Beshte, getting up with Ono.

"Hey Ono, since Kion is with Fuli right now, maybe you should check the pridelands." Said Beshte looking up at Ono.

"You're right Beshte, be right back!" Said Ono.

Ono flew around until he spotted Janja and his hyenas surrounding a leopard, which looks to be Badili.

"Ugh, those hyenas." Said Ono, rolling his eyes.

"Guys! guys! It's Janja and his clan, and I think they're tormenting Badili!" Said Ono rushing back to his friends.

"Oh no! Ono, go get Kion!" Said Beshte alarmed.

"Afformitave!" Said Ono.

Ono flew outside the lair and told Kion the news.

"Kion! Kion! we've got trouble!" Said Ono quickly flying to him.

"Five more minutes!" Said Kion annoyed.

No! this is an emergency Kion! We need you now! it's Janja and his hyenas! they are tormenting Badili!" Said Ono.

"Ugh, alright Ono we're coming." Said Kion.

"I'm sorry Fuli, I would stay with you, but we have to help." Said Kion looking at Fuli seriously.

"Ugh, okay." Agreed Fuli.

Kion and his friends followed Ono, and stopped in their tracks when they saw Janja surrounding Badili.

"So, you decided to back down RIGHT?" Said Janja, glaring at him.

"Look Janja I don't wanna be evil anymore, it's wrong! that's not who I am!" Said Badili taking a few steps back.

"Well, I'm afraid you don't have a choice, once you join US, there's no going back." Said Janja, as the other hyenas laughed.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK JANJA!" Yelled Kion as he ran up to Janja growling.

"KION?" Said Janja agrivatedly.

"LEAVE BADILI ALONE JANJA!" Snarled Kion.

"HAHAHA! I don't think so Kion." Said Janja laughing evilly.

"GRR, YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Said Kion, as he launched directly toward Janja, pinning him down.

"TWENDEKEBOKO!" Yelled Beshte, as he rammed into Cheesi and Chungu, that were surrounding Badili.

"I got these guys! HUWEZE!" Said Fuli, as she circled around them leaving all of them dizzy.

"ZUKA ZAMA!" Exclaimed Bunga, as he hopped onto the hyenas, keeping them from escaping.

"YOU LOST JANJA, NOW GO!" Yelled Kion.

"Okay! okay! we're going, cmon boys let's go!" Said Janja, walking back to the outlands.

The rest of his clan, followed behind him.

Kion walked towards Badili, "You okay?" Asked Kion.

"Yeah, I'm fine thanks for saving me guys.. I tried to stand up to Janja, but it was too hard..." Said Badili.

"Don't worry about it Badili, it is kinda hard if you're standing up to Janja, well unless it's me." Said Kion.

"Hahahahaha!" Everyone laughed.

"Well thank you guys, I'm gonna head back to my tree now see you later!" Said Badili, as he ran off.

"Well guys, let's head back to the lair." Said Kion, leading them.

When they got back to the lair, Fuli decided she wanted to go for a hunt.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna go for a hunt." Said Fuli turning to her friends.

"Uh okay?" Said Kion..

"I'll be back, see ya!" Said Fuli, as she headed out of the lair to the grazing grounds.

Kion couldn't help but follow her to the grazing grounds, he wanted to see her in action. He hid behind a bush.

Fuli crouched down in the tall grass, hiding herself from the antelope.

She pounced at the antelope, but the antelope ran away.

"Ugh." Sighed Fuli.

"That was close!" Said Kion coming out from the bush, startling her.

"Kion? what? why are you here?" She questioned, looking surprised.

"Haha, sorry I just thought it'd be interesting to watch you!" Said Kion, smiling nervously.

"Oh, well it's okay." Said Fuli.

"Maybe, you'll get it next time." Said Kion reassuring her.

"Yeah... TAG YOU'RE IT!" Said Fuli as she rushed past Kion.

"AW HEVI KABISA! IT'S ON!" Said Kion as he ran from behind her.

"YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!" Said Fuli, as she ran even faster, leaving him more steps to keep up with her.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK FULI! I'M THE SECOND FASTEST MEMBER IN THE GUARD!" Said Kion running faster up to her.

"GOTCHA!" Said Kion as he pinned her to the ground.

"How!? Said Fuli surprised.

"I have my ways." He smirked.

"How many times are you going to do this?" She raised an eyebrow grinning.

"Do what?" He questioned.

"You know... knock me down? You're always on top of me, like I don't get you Kion." She laughed.

"Oh, I don't know I guess I'm used to it." He winked.

"Right...." She replied.

Kion hopped off of her.

"Is that better?" He teased.

"I guess." She answered smirking.

He couldn't resist that look she gave him, he reached forward kissing her a second time, closing the gap between them.

"Hey guys!-" Said Bunga and Beshte walking up towards them, stopping, at the sight.

Kion and Fuli quickly backed away from each other.

"What were you guys doing..?" Asked Bunga, staring at them intensely.

"Uh nothing! nothing at all!" Stammered Kion, glancing at Fuli smiling nervously.

"Uh y- yeah!" Stuttered Fuli, agreeing with him.

"Sure...." Said Bunga smirking at Kion.

Kion looked like he was about to punch Bunga, so Bunga stopped.

"Well, we were just wondering if y'all are going back to the lair, it is getting dark." Said Beshte.

"Yes, we are cmon Fuli, let's go." Said Kion winking at her.

They headed into the lair, and Fuli laid down with Kion on his rock.

"I love you, Kion." Said Fuli, cuddling close to him.

"I love you too, Fuli." Said Kion resting his head on hers.

"AWWW!" Said Bunga loud enough, for them to hear.

"BUNGA!" Said Kion annoyed.

"Oops, sorry it's just you guys are so cute!" Said Bunga excitedly.

"Yeah, yeah, just go back to sleep." Said Kion rolling his eyes.

"Okay! but seriously, you guys are-"

Kion then growled at Bunga, and Bunga shut up, and went to sleep.
