The Ceremony
17:51, 12 January 2022SelinaThat little b*tch really pisses me off. I signed the contract with Joker not her. I was also invited to the party but I had to tell Bruce that I couldn't make it.
Selina: Uhh, Yeah. Sorry I can't come. I have some business I have to deal with that I couldn't quite get around. Tell Damian I said happy birthday though.
Bruce: Alright...I'll see you tomorrow for our date at least?
Selina: Of course.
I lied. And it felt terrible. I didn't want to do what I was going to do, but I have no choice. I have to betray the 'Light'. But I didn't know where they were. Their locations keep changing everyday and the Agreste guy's magic conceals the place. *sigh* The next day came around and if what I heard was correct...tomorrow's a red full moon. I think that's when the little b*tch is bound to strike so I had to move fast.
But how do I find them? Maybe I don't need to find all of them...but maybe..Emilie. If I find her, she could find the others and my kitten. It was sundown so time was escaping me as we speak. I knew that the base was in the underworld so using my powers there would just multiply it's effectiveness. I focused my powers and thought about Emilie. Yess! I found her. ~~~~~Third person (at the base)Emilie was taking a nap as she had nothing else to do. She felt the pain Marinette was going through so she was sharing her energy and powers with her that's when she got a somewhat of a mental call. She immediately got up giving out a little purr.
Jerry: Is something wrong, Emilie?
Emilie: *meow*
Her eyes turned purple and she sent back the same mental call. ~~~~~I'm coming, Emilie. I can see everything through your eyes. I teleported to where I felt the signal the strongest and stop at a secluded area. There was a mansion. 'Rossi Residence'. Bingo. I jumped down, following the wave Emilie kept repeating as I bounced it back. I climbed the walls and crawled along the ceilings and roofs. There was an open window. I jumped through and crawled in.
If I managed to get this far, they probably know I'm here so I have to move fast. I heard voices as I neared the corner. Crap. I entered one of the vents and crawled through. Emilie's aura was getting stronger so I knew I was nearing the exit. I came across a group of cages, one had Bruce and his family and the other had Emilie. There were two villains on watch, both had remotes in their hands.
One was Mr. Agreste and the other was Ivy. I saw the Agreste son near the cage. I tried the same old high pitched noise that only devils could hear...well kid devils. This technique is used for when devil parents can't find their kids. I tried it and all the kids gave out a little moan even though they wore the collars, they still heard it. The son glared over and looked around the area.
He finally looked up. I placed my finger over my mouth and pointed over to his father. He recognized me and nodded. He turned to his father, getting up from his seat.
Adrien: Father, can't you see this is wrong?
Gabriel: Adrien, I'm doing this for us. For your mother..-
Adrien: Mother would be very disappointed in you Father. And I know it. She wouldn't want this.
Gabriel: You don't know her as well as I do! Don't speak about your mother like that you insolent boy!
Good, that's one down...one to go. I know Ivy's weakness. Her plants and the fact that she isn't good at close combat like me. I could take her by surprise then deal with Agreste after. It's now or never... I revealed myself, Ivy threw plants in my way, I shredded them then got it close swiftly kicking her in her stomach then jabbing her in her neck, destroying the remote. She was out.
Agreste was about to use the remote but his son grabbed his foot through the cage, tripping him. I stomped on the remote then kicked him unconscious. I walked over to the cages and saw there were fingerprint identification scanners on each cage. "It's the lady's fingerprint. It only works for the female villains." Bruce explained. I lifted her up and placed her thumb on the scanner. Green.
I followed the same pattern and everyone was out. Emilie jumped onto my shoulder, her eyes returning to normal. I was on the last cage, it opened but an alarm went off. Sh*t! Everyone gathered around and Emilie lead the way to find Marinette. We were gone as I teleported us. ~~~~~Lila: What the..! No!! Damn you Mari-sl*t. *runs off*
Lila: All of the cages are empty!?!! Villains find those perpetrators and kill them on sight!!~~~~~We arrived at a cage and there on the floor we saw blood. A lot of it. On the wall, there was a figure. "T-Took...you long...enough.." it said in a low voice almost hoarse. Kitten. She had cuts, bruises, blade slashes, blood all over her body. She looked like hell. I used Ivy's fingerprint (I also teleported her with us along with Agreste) and it opened with yet another alarm. Damnit!
I got the chains off her hands and legs and the blindfold off her eyes and Damian was quick to catch her, that's when I realized they had matching strings on their hands. We ran out, passing corridors, turns, corners, doors, until we arrived in a big hall. We turned back the other way to exit the way we came but the door closed, shutting and locking itself. We looked around and saw the entire organization surrounding us. Oh litter boxes...this isn't looking too good...
Lila: Hello black kitty. How nice of you to join us. It was a really nice attempt you did there but you can't fool me. Well in any case, thank you for bringing everyone into my conjuring hall. This is where all of you including Mari-sl*t will have first class tickets to the show where I become the new and improved vampire warrior. Now, there are a few hours left until the ceremony and the peak of the moon's power and orbit in the sky. But I'll have to take this house up to the surface world for it to work. Hang on.
Third person The mansion began to shake. It rose up in the air, slowly but surely, on its way to the surface world. Teleporting an entire house is a lot of hard of work. Everything shifted and fell over when they broke through the ground and ended on the human plain. The area seemed familiar. The place where Marinette was crowned the vampire warrior 5 years ago. The building stopped moving and landed with a loud crash.
The roof opened and the moon was almost complete over them. Lila's grinned stretched as far as her ears, nothing but death and deranged thoughts going through her head. A collar was attached to Selina's neck and was switched on matching the others. Lila telekinetically pulled Marinette out of Damian's arms and placed her on the floor. The League of Assassins held the squad back from intervening.
Lila: Let the ceremony begin! Don't worry Marinette, you've survived the pain I've given you, so surviving this will be piece of cake.
Marinette: *struggles But ultimately sits up* Can't..w-wait...b*tch...
Lila opened up a book and turned to the middle. She began a chant and the chalk markings drawn by Klarion glowed red with Marinette in the center.
She began the ritual. "I call upon the ancient magic and texts of the passed devils and vampires. Grant me the power to complete my quest. I summon the power of creation and destruction. Grant me this, the power to remove entities and life in itself. And make me...the new...vampire warrior." she stopped. The red lines that glowed around Marinette shone brighter.
Red misty and liquid lines circled around her. First her hair then her body followed, floating off the ground. The moon was now directly over them, the red light of both the moon and markings glowed in sync. Marinette's eyes turned bright red to match. A red orb of light emanated from inside of her body flowing upward towards her heart. The room was intense, winds and thunderclouds, even lightning in the sky was seen.
Marinette was now engulfed by a tornado of the said red substances. She could no longer be seen as she was now inside of it.
MarinetteI felt like sh*t. My body being torn to pieces, I was too weak to move, I lost way too much blood because this b*tch tormented me for the past two days. I couldn't move my body. I tried to resist but all of this magnetic..kinetic and magic forces kept switching directions and pulled and pushed me in different directions. It's like it's trying to extract my vampire from me!
Different things, colors, lights, strings...whatever it was...circled around me, it was confusing. All I heard was Damian's voice calling out to me. I felt my connection to Emilie slipping away by every second that passes. My vampire was the only thing making us a tied entity, her being my familiar pet. I saw this orb of red light detach itself from my body. I couldn't feel my body anymore.
Before it all ended, I saw a short man, old but wise-looking, sturdy and wearing a Hawaiian themed shirt. He looked at me and smiled. His body was like a hologram, fading in and out.
Travel to London, and find the monastery on Highwood Hill. I'll be waiting, Vampire Warrior. I'll make sure you get there safely.
He disappeared before my eyes as I fell to the ground, the orb flying over to Lila and into her hands. She cackled at her victory. I looked over to Emilie as she laid on the floor just like me being cradled by Selina. I glanced at my hands as they disintegrated into dust. So did Emilie, followed by my friends and finally Damian. Everything went black after that.
