Chapter Twenty-One

This is the final chapter. It contains more things about the others and Anna will appear close to the end of the chapter._______________________________________

Chapter Twenty-OneTsuna's Last Fight

~Time skip~

The past days have been hard on us. We managed to get the inheritance from all the first generation of Vongola Famiglia. All that's left is to... kill Byakuran.

I hope you're alright onee-san.

Tsuna got on his feet and went a little farther away from his friends. He looked at the sky and smiled a little.

"You know, I never expected to come back to the forest where we arrived in the future."

"We didn't have a choice. The realtor was burned to the ground."

"T-that's true."

"Tsuna-nii, what's wrong?"

"I was wondering why Yuni told us to come to the forest."

"The town is in an uproar after the mess caused by our battles with the Millefiore. At the moment, we can't return."

"That's right! Were the people in town okay? And I'm worried about the police finding the Vongola Base."

"Giannini said that he'd taken steps to prevent that from happening."

"Really? I hope Yamamoto and Hibari-san make it here soon."

~Next day~

"Huh? T-the real Mukuro showed up on the battlefield?"

"Yeah, the real one got out of Vindice. That's what his student said."

"W-what was that sound?!"

"It's fine! There's too much noise from the fighting. I'm hanging up for now!"

"O-okay..."

"Is everyone okay?"

"Tsuna-kun, how's Ryohei?"

"Yeah, they're all okay."

"I'm so relieved."

"Still, Mukuro is..."

"Mukuro broke out, just like he said he would."

"Y-yeah... He's really amazing."

"You're the one who's amazing, Sawada-san."

"Don't praise him too much. He'll get cocky."

"I-I won't get cocky!"

"Yamamoto-san's group is also on their way here."

"Huh?! Yamamoto too?!"

"The Vongola Guardians are gathering around you, the boss."

The fight was even and no one seemed to win. They kept attacking each other but either ended up dodging it or take a little damage.

A sudden green light made them stop temporarily.

"What's that?"

"T-that's..."

"N-no way." said Bluebell from the enemy.

They all looked at an enormous man glowing green, just walking in a random direction.

"B-byakuran-sama... It's too early."

The glowing giant kept walking in the random direction as some of them were wondering what it is.

"What's that giant?"

"Is it glowing?"

"What is that?!"

"Is it Byakuran?"

"No, the mark under his eye is on the opposite side."

"Oh, now that you mention it..."

The enemy talked to themselves in a low voice.

"Ghost..."

"That's the Ghost I've heard so much? I-Isn't this kind of bad."

"Byakuran-sama, why did you send him out so early?!"

Future Mukuro looked at the whole situation and concluded something.

Even his allies are uneasy.

"Look at his hand! It's a Mare Ring!" said the lightning guardian of the Varia.

Bel, the storm guardian from the Varia, sent a few knives towards his enemy but ended up going through him.

"They went right through him!"

"An illusion?"

The attacks went kept going through him. 

"Flames of multiple elements might have an effect. Gokudera-dono, Sasagawa-dono, now is time to use the NBox Combination." said Basil as he came out of nowhere.

"But that technique is difficult to control."

"No, the enemy's just strolling along. It's worth a shot."

"Okay, got it. Mangaroo!"

A kangaroo appeared out of Ryohei's box.

"Uri!"

A small cat appeared out of Hayato's box.

"Alfin!"

A dolphin appeared out of Basil's box.

"Box combination!"

The three animals combined their flames and went to attack Ghost. The attack didn't work, instead, it made Ghost activate a weird ability.

A green shield surrounded him. From the shield shout up a few green things and each one of them went to grab a person.

The green thing grabbed one of his allies and a box animal, killing them in the process. Then flames from everyone begun going towards him.

"Ghost?! One of the real six Funeral Wreaths that absorbs flames?!"

"Yeah! The flames from our rings and Box Weapons aren't working! He's too dangerous! Take Yuni and get out of here!"

"Sawada-san. Please go. I have Uncle Reborn here."

"Yuni... Thanks."

"But that's too reckless! It's the same as throwing your life away!"

Tsuna turned his back to them and swallowed two pills.

"Wait here, everyone. I'm off."

And with that, he took off.

In the meantime, Ghost kept absorbing flames from everyone around him. He took out another one of his allies in the process.

Other people on the Vongola side, begun appearing on the battlefield though none looked very good.

Tsuna appeared out of nowhere and used his absorption technique to try and absorb Ghost's flames. The two battled using an absorption technique which resulted in the flame's absorption becoming faster and stronger. In the end, Tsuna won.

"Wow, I'm so impressed. You actually defeated Ghost."

"Byakuran!" yelled Gokudera.

"I'm glad to see you're doing well, Tsunayoshi-kun."

"Byakuran..." said Tsuna softly.

"Wow, this is a crazy lineup here. The boss of the Cavallone Family, the Vongola's independent assassination squad, the Varia, the Vongola's outside advisor's team, and Mukuro-kun, along with the other Vongola Guardians. Haha~ I'm so thrilled to see the Vongola's strongest members assembled here. Well... Almost all of them."

Tsuna and the others flinched when they heard the last part.

"Though, I must say that you have a peculiar taste, Tsunayoshi-kun."

Tsuna narrowed his eyes at Byakuran and waited for his next move.

"I mean, just look. Mukuro-kun and Xanxus-kun. You're working with people who once tried to kill you. That's pretty insane."

"Hey, scum."

"Hm?" Byakuran looked down at Xanxus.

"Let's get this straight. I ain't working for Sawada!"

Then he shot a bullet flame at him.

"Kufufu~Honestly... I thought that my words and actions were only capable of fooling an innocent girl or a foolish boy, but I never expected to be lumped together with the Mafia."

Just like Xanxus, Mukuro attacks Byakuran with his illusions.

"I see. Sorry about that."

Byakuran just stood there with no wounds on him.

"Anyway, you all seem pretty tired. What was with that pitiful attack? Can't really blame you though. Since Ghost absorbed most of your flames. You're all out of gas."

"Don't underestimate me!"

"You can see for yourself if I'm truly out of gas."

"Why are the two of you taking him on by yourselves?" said Hibari getting in a fighting position.

"Everybody get back. He's mine!"

"Do you know why I choose this time to show up, Tsunayoshi-kun? Because my body and spirit are finally ready."

"I've been ready for a long time."

Tsuna quickly used his flames to get in the air before appearing behind Byakuran and kicking him. He then kicks him again right in the face.

He tried to punch him but was stopped by Byakuran with a finger.

"H-he stopped him!"

"W-with a single finger?!"

"Oh? What's wrong? That's the best you can do? Then it's my turn. White finger."

His ring glowed before it shot a white flame sending Tsuna into the ground.

Byakuran sprouted two white wings and explained how these were made out of everyone's flames that Ghost absorbed. Tsuna tried to attack again, delivering multiple punches. None had any effect. Byakuran used one of his weird techniques to capture Tsuna. Tsuna couldn't move and Byakuran only tighten his hold on him.

"The pressure's a little higher. I'll follow suit then."

Both Byakuran and Tsuna's rings started sending out waves of Sky flames. When they reached the highest purity, their flames changed and formed a shield on both of them.

Yuni's pacifier glowed and started forming a barrier around her. The barrier began flying before it took in the direction of the battlefield.

The flame barriers started growing bigger. Then a third barrier came and connected with the other two. The barriers combined and now inside of it stood Byakuran, Tsuna, and Yuni.

"Welcome, Yuni-chan."

"Y-yuni... Stay away..."

"Sawada-san!"

"Hahaha~ Well? Aren't you surprised? When the 7³ Policy Sky elements release incredible amounts of flames, they create this unique situation. Now, we have a stage where the three of us won't be interrupted. A special stage for the Sky 7³ Policy and nothing else. Except that I no longer need Tsunayoshi-kun, so Yuni-chan and I will be all alone very soon."

"Sawada-san! Stop it, Byakuran!"

"Hm? How can you possibly tell me to stop now? Weren't you the one who forced the Vongola people into risking their lives to protect you? Even when you knew from the very beginning that they couldn't possibly defeat me. Your aimless escape only served to increase the number of victims. Could you be any more selfish?"

Yuni stared speechlessly at Byakuran, not able to say a word.

"You just wanted to watch as people move at your beck and call. Isn't that the real reason you tried to escape, Princess of the Arcobaleno?"

A glow appeared on her clothes. She tried to hide it but to no use as Byakuran saw it.

"What was that? You're hiding something under your cloak."

"No, not yet..."

"Not yet?"

The pacifiers fell to the ground and everyone stared at them. Reborn told everyone how he heard something about the Sky Arcobaleno being able to revive the other Arcobaleno.

Byakuran tightens his hold on Tsuna and lets go of him once he closed his eyes.

"Sawada-san!"

"You can bring back whoever you want and I still won't lose, but that would be a waste of time, right? Nobody can come inside this impenetrable barrier. You're mine now. You can cry and scream all you want. The Arcobaleno aren't going to defeat me."

"That's right."

Both Byakuran and Yuni looked at Reborn.

"The Arcobaleno aren't the ones who will defeat you. That job belongs to my student, Tsuna!"

Haru and the other managed to finally arrive and see what's happening.

"Did Tsunayoshi-kun say that he would defeat me, Reborn-kun?"

"That's right."

"Haven't you been paying attention? I've completely crushed Tsunayoshi-kun!"

"Don't underestimate Tsuna's Deathperation. Besides, I'm not talking about winning or losing here. Tsuna. You have to defeat Byakuran."

Tsuna started coughing gaining everyone's attention.

"I-I won't l-let you have Yuni."

"Haha~ You're shaking. Your body doesn't lie. It's scared because it remembers the beating you just took. I can feel you shaking from over here.

Tsuna's guardian's rings started glowing.

"Decimo, I agree with your thinking."

"Where are you?! Who's talking?!"

"I'd like to help out my true successor in person, but I can't do that. Instead."

Tsuna's glove's crest started glowing.

"I'll unleash you."

Vongola Primo appeared before Tsuna and the others. Huge flames poured out of Tsuna's gloves and his guardian's rings glowed even brighter. They changed their form.

"Go give that Mare kid a scare."

Said Primo before disappearing. Right after he disappeared, a rainbow box appeared before Tsuna. Tsuna didn't ask anything and took the box.

Yuni began feeding her flames to the pacifiers. Byakuran flew towards Yuni with his new pair of black wings.

"I'll never let you have Yuni!"

"You're always getting in my way!"

Gamma used the moment created by Basil to enter the barrier and hold Yuni.

"Hey, you shouldn't look so sad when we're about to set out."

The Sky flames engulfed Yuni and Gamma in flames. All remaining was their clothes.

"Gamma! Yuni!"

The rainbow box started glowing and shaking violently. Tsuna glanced at it and lighted his new ring. He inserted the ring in the box. When it opened, a huge amount of different types of flames came out and took the form of a sphere. After a while, the flames started disappearing leaving a human-like figure in their place.

Everyone's eyes widened when they saw the person.

"A-anna-chan?..."

Anna looked at Tsuna and smiled brightly before it turned into a frown. She turned around and looked at Byakuran.

"I told you Byakuran. You can't get rid of me."

Anna appeared in front of him and grabbed him. Using Storm flames she killed Byakuran in seconds. She looked down at the pacifiers and saw them glowing.

The pacifiers glowed and transformed into six figures.

"The Arcobaleno are back." Anna said looking at them with fond eyes. She destroyed the flame barrier before landing on the ground.

Some of Tsuna's guardians came running towards them. Anna picked up the Sky pacifier and looked at it.

"Onee-chan?" Anna looked at Tsuna and smiled fondly.

"You can finally go back Tsuna."

Tsuna tilted his head.

"What do you mean? Aren't you coming with us?"

Anna didn't say anything and turned to look at the pacifier. She turned into a ball of flames before surrounding the sky pacifier.

"Onee-chan/Anna!"

Yuni and Gamma were brought back but there was no trace of Anna. The rainbow box that was by Tsuna's wrist faded like it was never there.

~A little time skip~

They were now ready to leave back to their time. They said their goodbyes and got back to their time.

"My, what's everybody doing here? I thought you were in your room."

"M-mom!"

"Mama!" I-pin and Lambo jumped and hugged Nana.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

"They beat you to it, Tsuna."

"I'm too old for that!"

Tsuna looked happy at his mother.

We're really back.

"Took you idiots long enough."

Tsuna and Reborn froze before slowly turning around. Anna was sitting in front of them drinking tea like nothing happened.

"What?"

Tsuna jumped and hugged Anna.

"I *hic* missed you!" Tsuna was crying while Reborn tugged his fedora downwards.

Anna hugged him back and said.

"Welcome back, you two."_______________________________________
