Captain America

You and Bucky were sitting on the couch watching the news when you heard that the GRC meeting got cut off. You look over to Bucky.

You: We have to go, now.

Bucky: Get dressed then let's go, no wasting time.

You both get off th couch and run to the bedroom ad get dressed. You put on your skirt, tank top, boots, cloak, knives, and swords. You both run out the door and make your way to your motorbike and he goes to his so you can go to Sam.

-At the GRC-

You and Bucky are walking through all the chaos and past all the crazy reporters.

Sam(over Comms): I'm almost there.

Bucky: what's the plan?

Sam(Comms: Karli's gonna be close. Keep your eyes open.

You: Well, it could be anyone.

Officer: Sargent Barnes, Miss Rogers.

Sam(Comms: And by the way, I called in some backup.

Man: Excuse me, sir, ma'am. Are you 2 supposed to be here?

The man takes off a piece of plastic and you see Sharon.

Sharon: It's me.

Bucky: Sharon, what are you doing here?

Sharon: Relax no one's looking for me here.

Sam(Comms): Do I hear Sharon?

You: Unfortunately.

Sharon: Hey, Sam. I thought I'd bring the band back together.

Sam(Comms): Thank you. You're risking a lot coming here.

Sharon: I hear pardons aren't all they'll be cracked up to be.

Bucky: Depends on the therapist.

Sam(Comms): They'll move on to the building soon. Be ready. Sharon, Bucky, Y/n, what's going on on your end?

You, Sharon, and Bucky split up, you and Bucky going one-way ad Sharon going the other.

You: Nothing, all quiet.

Sam(Comms): Karli's not coming in, she's forcing everyone out.

You and Bucky are walking into the building and through the weapon detector.

Sam(Comms): Don't let 'em out of the building.

As you and Bucky finish walking through Sharon walks through and it beeps

Sharon: Oops.

Bucky: There's one of them. I'll get the evac, Y/n come with me.

And you nod as well as Sharon. You and Bucky are walking when a lady calls out to him.

Lady: Mr. Barnes, it's Karli.

He takes the phone and puts it to his ear.

Bucky(On phone): Karli?

Karli(Over the phone): Aren't you tired of fighting for the wrong side Mr. Barnes?

Bucky(Phone: I've done this before, kid. I know how it ends.

Karli(Phone): It doesn't matter if I don't survive this. I'm fighting for something bigger than myself. With all the bodies you've collected, have you been able to say the same?

Bucky(Phone): You don't think I've ever fought for something bigger than myself? That's all I tried to do. And I failed twice. You think your cause justifies all this death, but the nightmare won't go away in the end. You're going to remember all the ones you killed. Trust me. Don't do this. Don't go down this path.

Karli(Phone): If that's how you feel then you should sit this one out.

Bucky(Phone): Come on, you know we ain't going to do that.

Karli(Phone): Well, thank you. I'm glad you took my call. You've been a big help.

She hangs up.

Bucky: Ah! 

He runs and you follow. You both run to your motorbikes and hop on them.

Sam(Comms): Bucky!

You both take a sharp turn and sit there for a second.

Bucky: I don't fly, man. That's your thing.

You rev your engine before taking off again you leading the way. You both turn a corner and see a cement barrier but don't stop, you spin your motorbike around and stand on the seat before doing a backflip off. You start doing hand-to-hand combat against some Flag-Smasher dude, when you smell smoke you look over to the truck.

Bucky: Was that you, Y/n? 

You: No.

Bucky: Can you try and retract it.

You: No, I'm not that experienced yet.

Bucky runs over and pulls on the door.

Bucky: Hang on!

Walker: Morgenthau! Let's finish this.

Karli: I didn't mean to kill your friend. I don't want to hurt people that don't matter.

Walker: You don't think Lemar's life mattered?

Karli: Not to my fight. I just want the people in the truck.

You're trying to retract the fire using your fire powers. You start to help Bucky get the people out of the truck.

Man: Thank you for saving us.

You: No problem.

Bucky: you're welcome

Bucky runs over to Walker to help him while you continue to attempt to retract the fire. When you see Bucky falls off the building you ditch your task and run over to the edge and he's done a superhero landing. You see Karli running into a truck and drive it before jumping out of it. 

You chase the truck until it goes over the edge but instead of falling it stops. You try and use your telekinesis but the truck is too heavy, Walker sees that you're trying to use your powers.

Walker: Let me have a go.

He drops his shield and you step back letting Walker pull up the truck full of people. Some Flag Smashers come and start fighting you and Walker, they push you both off the building and the truck falls. You use panic and attempt to use your telekinesis, but instead, your fire powers make a platform stopping it from falling and when Sam comes he lifts it and puts it back on the road.

You all move back and you smile to yourself. But Karli ruins it and throws a pole at Bucky, but he catches it with ease. Sam comes flying down and hits all the Flag Smashers with his shield. Smoke bombs start going off everywhere.

Sam: This way.

You all follow Sam to where he said.

Bucky(Over Phone): Hey, Sharon, we're underground. We entered the tunnel on William heading south.

Sam: Looks like they split up. Here.

Bucky and John went one way and you and Sam went the other.

Bucky: I got it.

You and Sam go one way and then you hear gunshots, you run in the direction of which you heard it. You both get there and see Karli holding a gun towards Sharon.

Karli: Sam, Y/n, stay back.

Sam: So what's next, huh? You killed 10 this time, then, what, 100? When does it end? Please, let us help you.

Karli: Don't try and manipulate me.

Sharon: Karli, don't.

Sam and Karli start to fight while you help Sharon.

Sam: I'm not going to fight you! Karli...

Karli: Stay down!

Sam: No.

Karli: Fight back.

Sam: Stop it.

Karli: Fight me! Fight back!

You see Karli about to shoot Sam so you pick up a gun and shoot her. She falls to the ground while you cover your mouth.

Karli: I'm sorry.

She closes her eyes and you start to sob.

You: What have I done?

You fall to your knees and put your head in your hands. Sam picks up karli and walks over to you.

Sam: Come on.

You both get back to where Bucky is and John are. Reporters start asking Sam and you questions.

Reporter: Miss. Rogers how did Karli die exactly.

You: Um, sorry I have to go.

You walk over to Bucky with guilt and sadness. Bucky's leaning on a van with his arms around you watching Sam, you cry into his chest while Sam argues with the government. Sam walks over to you and Bucky.
