05: COLLABORATION

I hummed as I listen to one of  my favorite exo song titled Promise through my earphones. What a beautiful song to start a soon to be eventful day!

To be honest, I am still not taking it in that I would be pick to represent our company out of my many co-artist who are all very talented for this upcoming collaboration of the Big 3 Companies, including JYP, SM, and Yg which is the company that I am in.

"Let's do our best, Rosé." I cheered for myself before I turned off the music on my phone and put my earphones on my pocket. "Goodluck, self!"

I composed myself to look confident even though I am not, before I finally had the courage to open the door to enter the quite spacious music studio.

"Rosé! You're here!" Jihyo Unnie, Twice's leader and main vocalist is the first one to greet me.

"Annyeong Unnie." I bowed to her and "Annyeonghaseyo.." bowed shyly to the others inside the music studio.

There are staffs and camera men to document us for our first meet and greet. This gave me a whole new feeling of excitement for my collaboration with other artists and expand my knowledge when it comes to my passion, which is music.

I was just getting along with the other persons inside the room when the door clicked open that suddenly got my attention. I covered my face using the folder I am holding to hide my shock expression because of the presence of a certain giant from SM Company.

Chanyeol Oppa's dimple peeked when his gaze met mine.

"Annyeong.." I greeted alongside the other staffs and Twice's Jihyo when he bowed to us.

I bit my lower lip to hide the sudden burst of joy that I am feeling when Chanyeol Oppa choose to sit beside me.

"The three of you will perform your group's hit songs." Sejun Oppa started. (A/N: I don't know his name but imagine him as the guy with glasses that sing alongside them in SBS Gayo Daejun)

"What do you say? I will assist you and be your back up singer as well." Sejun Oppa added as he smiled at us and his eyes landed on me. "Rosé-ssi, you know how to play a guitar right?"

I shyly nodded, getting my precious guitar out of it's case and play them a sample, I even sang even though I am utterly nervous but then, my doubt of myself vanished when Chanyeol Oppa was the first to clap his hand and cheer for me~!

"You got a talent, Rosé-ssi!" Sejun Oppa gave me a thumbs up.

"T-Thank you, Oppa."

I continue to hid my face under the folder because I am blushing.. not because Sejun Oppa praised me but because I can feel Chanyeol Oppa's glances at me! It made my poor heart flutter without any effort.

"How about you, Chanyeol?" Sejun Oppa turned to him. "Care to share us your guitar expertise?"

Chanyeol Oppa confidently grin that showed his cute dimples on the side of his cheek. And when he started to strum his guitar, I was awed. The way his finger strum the strings and brought a wonderful melody to life made me admire him more.

Because he is the reason why I learned to play guitars and other instruments..

I can't help but fix my stare on Chanyeol Oppa as I admired his perfectly handsome face. His curly bangs that fall on his thick eyebrows, his huge rounded eyes that turn crescent whenever he gave off his million dollar smile, his thin yet pointed nose.. down to his soft pouty reddish lips are perfect. My eyes went to his big yoda-like ears that I adore and I just had to bit my lower lip to stifle a smile.

"He could melt you know~"

I was pulled out of my daydreaming when Jihyo Unnie nudge me. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and clapped my hand to cheer for Chanyeol Oppa because he finished the second after Jihyo Unnie called for my attention.

I put the folder to cover my blushing face especially with Jihyo Unnie's teasing look at my direction!

"Wow! That was great!" Sejun Oppa praised Chanyeol Oppa.

"Amazing!" Jihyo Unnie said and looked at me, "Chanyeol Oppa's guitar skills is mesmerizing, don't you think Rosé?"

And because of that, Chanyeol Oppa's gaze landed on mine. He is looking at me, waiting on my word for his performance.

"Y-yeah.." I agreed on Jihyo Unnie.

It was mesmerizing indeed. It feels like I could see another side of Chanyeol Oppa whenever he held an instrument, may it be a guitar, piano, or drums. And every side of him is a view to watch.

Him being an idol performing on stage makes him alluring.

Him being an actor gave justice with every character he played.

And him being a musician with instruments, simply doing what he loves the most is just.. breathtaking.

I steal a glance on Chanyeol Oppa and pouted as I realized our gap.

Just because I am close to him now doesn't mean that I can be really close to him. I should know where I stand. He is my bias, I am his fan and just because I am now an idol as well doesn't give me the right to think of the possibility..

Of being something more to Chanyeol Oppa.

I tapped my cheek to make myself focus on our collaboration and not on thinking way too much about my fangirling over Chanyeol Oppa. Rosé, professional mode on.

"Are we all agree on the plan?" Sejun Oppa asked.

"Plan?" I blinked.

Aish.. My mind is really floating in the air while they are all busy about our collaboration. My cheeks reddened out of embarrassment!

"The two of you will play the guitar alongside our guitarist." Sejun Oppa pointed at me and Chanyeol. "Chanyeol will play for whistle and TT and you, Rosé-ssi will play for monster."

I was taken aback by that.

I know the song, monster of EXO because it was one of my favorite but then.. I only try to play it using my guitar once. I tried but I find it hard to catch the right timing with every strum.

"I could help you with the chords, Rosé-ssi." Chanyeol Oppa offered and who am I to refuse?

"I.. I could help you with the chords of whistle too." I offered my help as well.

"I can't believe my life is really for thirdwheeling.." Jihyo Unnie said, cutting my gaze with Chanyeol Oppa. "SaTzu, MiChae, DahMo, 2yeon.. and now ChanRose?"

C-C-ChanRose? My cheeks heated as I look away from Chanyeol Oppa whose lips curved into an amuse smirk.

"W-What are you talking about Unnie?" I asked, flustered.

Jihyo Unnie giggles at my reaction. I can't believe someone else aside from my members has an idea about my feelings now! Am I really that easy to read? Does she know that I am fangirling towards Chanyeol Oppa all this time?

"You two could practice on your guitar sessions now." Sejun Oppa said. "The other studio room is available."

My eyes widened a fraction when I realized what they are suggesting.. I look at the other staffs with us and they didn't seem to mind.

Me and Chanyeol Oppa, practicing with just the two of us on another studio?

"But let's take a selfie first before that." Jesung, the other musician that would accompany us suggested. "Say cheese!"

After the picture is taken, I look over Chanyeol Oppa when he stood up and offered me his hand. "Let's go?"

"Go on Rosé, fighting!" Jihyo Unnie said and winked.

I gave her a meaningful look and she only grinned at me in return. I'm pretty sure she already told my group and her group about it. I wouldn't be even surprise if Red Velvet would tease me as well!

I heave a sigh, it's not like I don't want it.. it's just that.. I guess I'm shy?

I am too flustered at the presence of Chanyeol Oppa. He have this affect on me that I cannot explain.. as if my whole system goes wild whenever he is near!

Oh my gosh.. what would happen now that I'll be alone with him?!

I just wished I won't do anything.. humiliating.
