XXVII: Last Episode

[ Yeong POV ]

It's been a week, we have returned from our small vacation. We all have been busy with our schedules in no time. As soon as we arrived to Seoul, our works started right away. But even though i was busy with my schedules, my mind was stuck in the same scenario where i was infront of Jungwon & he purposed me unexpectedly.

I wasn't expecting that he loves me back, all these years, i have been careful about my crush on him but now that i know that my crush loves me back, its thrilling. It feels amazing but at the same time it feels unreal. I talked with Wonyoung about the incident & she was more excited than me. She wanted to know what i answer but i didn't had any answer cause what i did that day is unforgiveable. I know i was nervous but i know atleast i could have said something but no. I decided to just run away to my room. From that we didn't talk, it was an awkward situation between us.

Even after we returned, i tried to text him but never got courage. But i don't wanna live like this. I have to confess. Now that i know he loves me too, i have to confess him that i love him more than anything.

So i decided to meet him today & here i am waiting for him at the rooftop resturant with amazing view. This is the day, its happening.

I wore simple outfits with a lower bun.

I am waiting for Jungwon to arrive, as i am preparing what should i say to him as we didn't talk for whole week. I wasn't surprise that he didn't text me for a whole week either. But as i texted him today, it wasn't even 5 seconds till he replied back.

Then i saw him entering the rooftop & searching around for me. I stood up & let him know i'm at the corner. He saw me & started walking towards me. As he was walking towards me, i notice he was looking amazing as always. I smiled faintly while admiring him.

"Hey Yeong, how have you been?" Jungwon greet me with a cute dimple smile.

"I'm good, how are you?" I smiled back.

"I'm fine. I am happy you texted me today. I was genuinely worried that we might never talk" Jungwon sat down across me.

I smiled not knowing how to start & what to say.

"Whats wrong? Did i made our bond awkward? I'm really sorry. It happened in that wa-" I cut him off.

"I LOVE YOU TOO" I looked down & smiled shyly.

Jungwon was shocked.

He was speechless for a second.

I slowly looked up at him & saw his astonished face.

"W-what did you say?" Jungwon whispered, trying to make sure he heard it right.

"I said my answer" I said shyly.

"Are you serious? You're joking right?" Jungwon said not believing at all.

I slowly leaned forward & hold his hand which was above table & whispered directly looking in his eyes.

"I love you too" 

Jungwon smiled and looked around to see of anyone was around, but no one was there so he came towards me & hugged me tightly.

"I love you Yeong. I love you so much" He whispered in my ears.

"I love you too Woniee" I hugged him back & whispered.

We slowly pulled away from the hug & he sat beside me while not leaving my hand.

"But- why did you run away that day?" He asked as he was pouting.

"Awww its just. It was unexpected & i got nervous. I couldn't utter a word so i ran away. And it was so embarrassing when i remember later so i couldn't face you after that so i kept my distance. I'm sorry" I whispered & lay down on his shoulder.

"I was scared that i messed up. I thought you won't even talk with me again. But when you texted me today, i jumped as soon as i saw your text. Thank you Yeong for accepting me & thank you for existing in my life" Jungwon said in a sweet tone.

I smiled softly & looked at him. We made an eye contact for a minute. Then he started leaning down, i became flustered so i closed my eyes. And right after that i felt a kiss on my lips.

His soft lips met mine. I felt the butterflies on my stomach. Without breaking the kiss, i straighten my neck & then kissed him back. We shared a little moment which i can never forget.

After sometime, we pulled away then he asked me,

"Choi Yeong, Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled brightly & said.

"Yes, Yang Jungwon. I wanna be your girlfriend."
