XXI:

[ At Enhypen's Dorm ]

After Niki returned to his dorm after visiting KBS. He was really quiet & unreadable. Everyone tried to ask him about the contract but surprisingly he avoided the questions and said he wanna rest. He still couldn't forget what happened at the KBS office. He was sitting on his bed while looking at his phone screen blankly. He sighs internally as Sunghoon walked inside his room and looked at him.

"You denied it, didn't you?" Sunghoon sat beside him.

Niki didn't uttered a word.

"Why did- " Sunghoon was cut off by Niki.

"I didn't" He said in low voice.

"You signed it?" Sunghoon asked with confusion in his tone.

Niki nodded.

Sunghoon looked at him & then examine him closely, trying to understand why was he behaving like that.

"Then?" Sunghoon asked.

Niki looked at him & started explaining what actually happened.

[ Flasback ] [ Niki POV ]

I blankly looked at the contract fighting with my mind wheather should i or should i not sign the contract. I looked around and saw everyone in the room was waiting for me. I looked at Yeong and she had a frown in her face. I felt bad knowing we discuss it through and she knows i was excited to do MCing with her. I took a deep breath and took a pen from the table. Just then-

"If you're having a double thoughts then you can say" Yeong whispered to me.

"Its not like that" i assured her.

I wanted to tell her what was i actually thinking but i couldn't bring myself to say it. So i just took the paper and signed it before giving it to the CEO.

We said our goodbyes and now its me & Yeong walking towards elevator. I felt scared that Jungwon hyung might get mad at me. As i was in my deep thoughts, she called me.

"Niki-san" She said in sweet voice. "Whats wrong? Has anything happened?" She asked.

"No, its just. Its new for me thats why, i was thinking if i'll be the perfect person for this" Yes, i lied.

"Ohh don't be, we'll be together. We'll have alot of fun. Don't worry too much" She smiled and pat my back.

I smiled back.

[ End of Flashback ]

After saying everything to Sunghoon, he looked down again.

"I know you are just sad because you don't wanna make Jungwon feel jealous and treat you badly. But trust me, he'll be happy as well knowing you are the one who is doing MCing with her & not others" He assured him.

"Are you sure about that?" Niki asked.

"Ofcourse yes, i am happy" Jungwon entered the room with a smile. "I am sorry by the way i've been behaving lately, and i am happy you said yes, if you denied it, i would feel guilty" He came and sat on another side of Niki.

"Really hyung?" Niki finally smiled.

"Yes, i am sorry for my behaviour. Love is in its place, but we're brothers & for me, brothers comes first" Jungwon said and hugged Niki.

Niki hugged him back with a huge smile.

Sunghoon, who was watching everything smiled as well seeing his brothers finally making up.

[ Yeong POV ]

After returning back to dorm, i flopped down on my couch. Just then, my phone started to ring. It was my brother.

"Yeah bro" I answered the call.

"I heard you signed the contract with KBS" He giggled.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"I have my sources" He laughed. "I'm happy that we both are gonna be MCing now"

"Yeah yeah right" i rolled my eyes.

"I know you love me, but you didn't had to copy everything i do" He laughed, making me annoyed.

"If this is what you wanna say then i'm hunging up" I said.

"Yah yah stop. Okay main thing, our mom wants you & me to be with her for 3 days because they are gonna be leaving for US next week. So she said it'll be like a vacation and we can bring our friends too. So are you in?" He asked.

"Huh? Mom didn't mention that to me when we talked last night" I was confused.

"She'll call you in a while anyway. So what do you think? 3 days of vacation on our private cottage. Its gonna be amazing" He giggled.

"Yeah with you & your friends. No wayyyyy" I said.

"You're mean, you can bring your friend too" He said.

"What about the company? Did they allowed you? Cause i don't think my company will allow me." I said while thinking.

"Actually Hybe is gonna be upgrade some systems so all Hybe idols are getting 1 week off. So yeah" He said while giggling.

"Lucky you, i gotta ask my manager first so i'll let you know later. I'm hunging uo, bye" i cut the call before he said another word.

"Hmmm...Vacation sounds good but with my bro & his friends , no wayy. I'll ask Wonyoung, if she wanna come, but before that gotta talk with manager" I thought to myself.

"Who will tag along with her in vacation?"
