𝐍a-hee opened her phone and started scrolling through her Instagram messages. A big smile spread across her face when she saw a text from I-sak. She had sent her the group picture of them, where she was wearing cute bunny ears. The photo was colorful, filled with their bright smiles and cheerful energy.
As Na-hee looked closely at the picture, her smile grew even wider. She noticed how happy everyone looked, as if they had no worries at all. It reminded her of the fun times they shared, and she couldn't help but wish that those days would never end. The joy in the photo made her heart feel warm, and she felt grateful for moments like these with her friends.
Na-hee's eyes widened in surprise when I-sak sent her another picture. This time, it was a photo of her alone, smiling brightly without realizing she had taken it. She looked so lively in the picture, her smile big and full of joy.
Feeling happy, Na-hee saved the photos and decided to post it on her Instagram, as well as their group photo. With a big grin on her face, she thought to herself, "I look pretty there." As she lay down on her bed, she kicked her legs up in the air and rested her chin on her hands. With her phone in one hand, she couldn't help but feel excited about sharing this moment in her socials.
After a few minutes, comments started flooding in on her Instagram post. Na-hee eagerly took a look at what everyone was saying, and a big grin spread across her face. She noticed that her friends had also left comments, so she decided to check those first.

As she read their messages, her heart filled with happiness. Some friends wrote how beautiful she looked, while others shared funny memories from the day the picture was taken. Each comment made her smile even more, reminding her of the fun times they had together.
It was the next day, of course, their day wouldn't be complete without Mother Nature's mood swings. Yesterday, it was sunny and hot, but now the rain poured down, creating a soothing rhythm against the windows. The rain created a soft rhythm that filled the hallway, mixing with the sound of Na-hee and On-jo's footsteps.
Na-hee was carefully holding their assignments as she walked alongside On-jo. She had been assigned by Mr. Song to gather the assignments from her classmates, then he asked Na-hee to give him the assignments to the detention room.
Meanwhile, On-jo wanted to spend time with Na-hee. This was her chance to get to know Na-hee better, even though she felt a little shy. After all, she was walking beside her crush, who wouldn't feel nervous?
Ever since Na-hee transferred to their school, On-jo had sensed a strange interest from Mr. Song towards Na-hee. She didn't like that one bit.
As they walked, On-jo decided to let her hair down, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. Na-hee noticed and smiled brightly. "On-jo, you look so pretty with your hair down!" she complimented. On-jo felt her cheeks warm up as she smiled back, a little shy.
"Thank you, Na-hee" she replied softly, her heart racing.
Na-hee suddenly felt flustered and started to stumble over her words. "I -I mean, you look good every day!" she said quickly, her voice a bit shaky.
"It's just that you really look great with your hair down!" Na-hee finished, blinking rapidly at On-jo, who felt a rush of warmth spread across her face. It was a sweet moment, and both girls felt a special connection growing between them.
There stood a comfortable silence between the two, at least for Na-hee, On-jo was practically screaming in her head. They walked together silently to Mr. Song's office, where he was in charge of students who were sent to detention, the hallway bustling with students. On-jo could feel the butterflies in her stomach as they approached the door.
but it wasn't excitement there was an underlying tension. "I hope he's in a good mood today" she murmured, recalling how Mr. Song had been acting strangely around Na-hee lately.
"Me too" Na-hee replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want to mess up in front of him."
On-jo furrowed her eyebrows at Na-hee. "Are you comfortable?" she suddenly asked. Na-hee laughed nervously.
"Yes, I think so. Let's get this over with." Na-hee smiled at On-jo for her concern.
Na-hee always felt uneasy whenever Mr. Song assigned her to pass their homework to him, he would always try to hold her hand or get too close to her, which she didn't like and found very weird.
As they entered the room, the familiar scent of chalk and paper filled the air. Mr. Song was at his desk, reviewing some papers. He looked up as they approached, a smile breaking across his face that felt a bit too wide.
"Ah, Na-hee! Just in time. I was wondering when you would bring me the assignments." Mr. Song's smile slightly faded as he observed On-jo was next to Na-hee.
On-jo felt a wave of relief wash over her, but it was quickly overshadowed by an unsettling feeling. The way Mr. Song stared at her made her feel like he didn't want her coming in with Na-hee, so she stood closer to Na-hee.
"Here you go, Mr. Song" Na-hee said, handing over her neatly stacked paper, her hands slightly trembling as she passed the assignments to him.
"Excellent work" Mr. Song said, flipping through their papers. His gaze lingered on Na-hee a moment too long, and On-jo noticed how his smile seemed to deepen.
"Na-hee, your work is very good." His tone was too intimate, and On-jo felt a chill run down her spine. There was something in Mr Song's eyes that made On-jo uneasy. She watched Na-hee's reaction, feeling a surge of protectiveness.
"Thank you, Mr Song" Na-hee replied, her voice barely above a whisper, but On-jo could see the discomfort flickering in her eyes.
Na-hee glanced around the room, her eyes landing on Gwi-nam, who was sitting in a chair and already looking back at her. She blinked a few times, thinking to herself, *Oh, of course, I'm not surprised.* After a moment, she turned her attention back to Mr. Song. She was eager to leave the room.
Gwi-nam was mouthing her name, desperately trying to get her attention, but she completely ignored him, leaving him feeling frustrated
As Mr. Song focused on her, Na-hee felt a lump rise in her throat. It was hard to breathe with his gaze fixed on her. Once he finished marking the assignments, he handed the papers to her. Their hands almost touched, and Na-hee felt a wave of discomfort wash over her. She quickly pulled her hand back, wishing she could escape the awkwardness of the moment.
But as they stepped out of the classroom, On-jo caught Mr. Song's gaze lingering on Na-hee, a flicker of something possessive in his expression. It sent a shiver down her spine.
"Na-hee, wait up!" On-jo called, quickening her pace to catch up with her crush. "Are you alright?" She asked Na-hee concern written on her tone and expression.
Na-hee shrugged, trying to brush it off. "Yeah I'm alright, why do you ask On-jo?"
"it felt like he was looking at you like you were something more than just a student" On-jo said, her voice low. "I don't like it."
Na-hee frowned, "you think so?"
"I know so" On-jo replied fiercely. "You need to be careful. I don't want him to make you uncomfortable."
As they walked down the hallway, On-jo felt a warmth in her chest for her Na-hee, but it was mixed with concern. She couldn't shake the feeling that Mr. Song's interest in Na-hee was definitely crossing a line.
On the other hand, Yoon Gwi-nam silently observed their interaction, his fist slowly clenching as he watched the way Mr. Song looked and the way his hand brushes against Na-hee's hand made Gwi-nam's blood boil. He leaned back slightly, his body tense, and his gaze darkened as it fixed on Mr. Song. A frustrated tsk escaped his lips.
His anger rose as he remembered the photos Na-hee had posted on her social media. Gwi-nam was about to save one of her pictures when he suddenly felt his frustration intensify. He saw her "classmates" making a move on her, and that made him even more upset.
To make matters worse, he noticed that Cheong-san and Su-hyeok were also there, their eyes fixed at her as they pose. Gwi-nam couldn't believe it. The thought of them getting close to Na-hee made his heart race with jealousy.
*I always knew he was a fucking creep* he thought to himself about Mr. Song, irritation bubbling beneath the surface. As he shifted his head, he felt a satisfying crack in his neck, but his glare remained unwavering, locked onto Mr. Song.
*I'll kill this fucker.* he threatened in his head, his teeth clenching at the thought.
He stood up abruptly, his chair scraping against the floor, drawing a few curious glances. But he didn't care. The thought of Mr. Song getting too comfortable with Na-hee was unbearable. He took a step forward, his fists still clenched, ready to confront the man who dared to encroach on what he felt was his territory.
Mr. Song looked at him, his eyes narrowing as he studied Gwi-nam's expressionless face. "Yoon Gwi-nam, sit back down." he commanded firmly.
Before he could process the situation, Gwi-nam's fist connected with his face, delivering a violent punch that sent shockwaves through the room.
On-jo and Na-hee made their way back to their classroom, relieved to find that there was no teacher present, granting them a precious moment of free time.
The school had been struggling with a poor reputation due to bullying, which only fueled Na-hee's anger towards Gwi-nam and his so-called friends. It wasn't just Gwi-nam, the entire situation left her feeling frustrated, especially since the principal seemed indifferent, dismissing the bullying as mere "playful behavior."
Na-hee wanted to take action, but she feared that if she did, they would simply dismiss her and accuse her of meddling in others affairs. She then shook her head, to stop thinking about what might make her stressful.
Na-yeon pulled out her phone and started scrolling through her music playlist. Na-hee noticed and leaned over, curious.
"Yeoni! What are you listening to?" she asked, her eyes bright with interest.
"Oh, just some new songs I found! I'm really into this K-pop group right now" Na-yeon replied, her excitement evident.
"Nice! I've heard a lot about them." Na-hee added, leaning in closer.
Na-hee looked directly into Na-yeon's eyes. Even though Na-yeon was bubbly and cheerful while talking, Na-hee could sense something was off. After all, she knew Na-yeon better than anyone, she was her best friend.
"Yeoni-ah, if you want to tell me something, I'm always here for you" Na-hee said softly, her voice filled with concern.
Na-yeon stared back at Na-hee, her smile wavering slightly. "I know, I just... I'll tell you when the time comes" she replied, her tone a bit hesitant.
Feeling the weight of the moment, Na-hee gently took Na-yeon's hands in hers. "Promise?" she asked, using her other hand to make a pinky promise, a gesture they had shared since childhood.
Na-yeon nodded, a smile breaking through as she held back tears of joy. "I promise" she said sincerely, feeling grateful for Na-hee's support.
They both burst into laughter, the tension lifting. "That's so childish of you, Na-hee" Na-yeon teased, grinning widely.
"Yah, but you like it!" Na-hee retorted playfully, sticking her tongue out.
"Yah! Who said I do?" Na-yeon shot back, her laughter echoing in the classroom.
As they continued to joke and tease each other, Na-yeon felt a warmth in her heart. No matter what was bothering her, she knew that with Na-hee by her side, everything would be okay.
As Na-hee approached her desk, she suddenly stopped in her tracks. There, on top of her table, sat a cute bunny stuffed toy.
"Nam-ra?" she called out, seeking the attention of her nonchalant friend. Nam-ra looked up, her gaze piercing as she focused on Na-hee.
"Did you know who placed this here?" Na-hee asked, her curiosity through the roof.
"No, I didn't." Nam-ra replied, her tone was somewhat sadden, returning to her studies without a second thought.
Determined to uncover the mystery, Na-hee turned to her classmates. "Yah! Did any of you see who put this here?" she called out, lifting the bunny toy for everyone to see. The room fell silent as her classmates turned their attention to her.
Na-hee then caught sight of Na-yeon wiggling her eyebrows playfully, trying to get her attention. She brushed it off with a laugh, but deep down, she didn't realize just how much she cherished the time they spent together.
Lately, Na-hee had made friends with some of their classmates, and while Na-yeon, she couldn't help but feel a little sad. It seemed like they rarely hung out anymore, and Na-yeon missed her best friend so much.
Every time Na-hee laughed with someone else or shared stories about her new friends, Na-yeon felt a pang of loneliness. She remembered all the fun times they used to have, late night talks, silly inside jokes, and their secret hangout spots. Those moments felt like they were slipping away.
Na-yeon sighed quietly, watching Na-hee chat and laugh with others. She wanted to join in, but it felt different now. She missed the way they used to be, just the two of them, sharing everything without any distractions.
"We didn't!" I-sak chimed in, shaking her head.
Na-hee raised an eyebrow and turned to I-sak with a playful grin. "Are you sure it wasn't you, I-sak?"
"No, I'm telling the truth! It wasn't me!" I-sak replied cheerfully, her innocence shining through.
Just then, Dae-su bounded over to Na-hee, his excitement bursting out. "Yah! Everyone, I think Na-hee has a secret admirer!" he yelled, causing a wave of teasing laughter to ripple through the classroom.
"Yah! Dae-su!" Na-hee exclaimed, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment as she shushed him, glancing around to see the amused faces of her classmates. Who could have left the bunny for her?
Wu-jin stepped closer to Dae-su, his face showing clear irritation. "Yah, stop teasing Na-hee" he said firmly. Dae-su blinked in surprise.
"Hey, why are you so overprotective all of a sudden?" he whispered back. Wu-jin shrugged him off with a light shove on his shoulder.
"I'm just kidding! Why do you get mad so easily this past few days?" Dae-su asked, a playful smile on his face.
"You're just jealous, aren't you?" Joon-yeong chimed in, moving closer to Wu-jin. Wu-jin shot him a glare.
"It's none of your business." he replied quietly, trying not to make a scene. Dae-su watched them bicker, clearly enjoying the playful tension between his friends.
Meanwhile, Na-hee caught sight of Su-hyeok, who was chuckling to himself. She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Yah, Lee Su-hyeok!" Na-hee called out, grabbing his attention and that of the others. "You're the one who left this here, aren't you?" She grinned at him, and he returned her smile.
"You caught on pretty quick!" Su-hyeok replied, his head resting on the table. "Bunny Na-hee!" he teased, making her roll her eyes but smile at the same time.
"I knew it."
"It was you?" Gyeong-su asked, looking surprised.
"Yes" Su-hyeok replied, nodding with a smile on his face.
"Hey, Bare-su, do you have something to say to Na-hee?" Dae-su called out, teasing him a little.
Su-hyeok shook his head and said, "Not yet." He felt a mix of excitement and nervousness about what he wanted to say to her. The atmosphere was light, but he knew he needed to gather his courage first.
On-jo stared at Su-hyeok, feeling a mix of sadness and confusion. He had gifted her a cute bunny stuffed toy, but she couldn't help but wonder why he chose that when she and I-sak had already given Na-hee a bunny headband, which Na-hee loved more so much. right?
On-jo sighed softly, trying to understand Su-hyeok's intentions. "It's really cute" she said, forcing a smile as she looked beside her towards i-sak "But... don't you think Na-hee likes the headband more?"
I-sak nudged her friend playfully as a grin spread across her face. "You're jealous of Na-hee, aren't you?" she asked quietly, glancing at On-jo. On-jo furrowed her eyebrows in surprise at the sudden question.
"No? What do you mean?" she replied, a hint of confusion in her voice.
"Sureeee" I-sak added sarcastically, rolling her eyes. On-jo let out a frustrated tsk sound in response.
"But really, I'm not! It's just that Na-hee really loves that headband. It means a lot to her" On-jo insisted, trying to defend herself.
"Yah, you keep saying that Na-hee likes the headband more. What's up with that?" I-sak pressed, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing..." On-jo said, her voice trailing off. "I just... really know Na-hee's schedule by heart" she confessed, a hint of pride in her tone.
I-sak tilted her head, her eyes narrowing in curiosity. "Isn't that... a little concerning? I mean, isn't it weird?" she asked, genuinely puzzled.
On-jo stared at her friend blankly for a moment before responding. "It's not weird" she said firmly. "I just care about her."
I-sak raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit weirded out by On-jo's intense focus on Na-hee. "Okay, but knowing someone's schedule that well? It's a little... much, don't you think?" she said, crossing her arms.
On-jo shrugged, trying to brush off I-sak's concern. "I just want to be there for her. It's not like I'm stalking her or anything" she replied, a hint of defensiveness creeping into her voice.
"Yeah, yeah... I got it."
