Sonic's POV

"What?! He'll be sitting with us?!"Knuckles whisper-yelled while we're on line

I nodded

"And you agree with that?!But why?!"Knuckles continuously asked

I didn't answer. That's when he stopped questioning me too. After I got my lunch,I sat on the table with Shadow as promise. I sat beside him. At first, I know we both were uncomfortable with each other, especially Knuckles looking at us both. But now,we feel kinda fine. It's like we're talking like close friends

Shadow finished his lunch. But waited for me anyway

"Thank you...Sonic"He shyly said

Is this really the Shadow The Hedgehog I knew?

I shook my head at the thought and smiled at him

"You're welcome. Thank you too"I smiled before we walked away from each other

That felt...awkward. But it's fine. I noticed Scourge and his other friends were looking at us. As soon as we met each other's gaze,he rolled his eyes and walked away. I don't even see Shadow bring with them anymore,but to Rouge. It's not like I'm saying Shadow's planning something..

Right?

Shadow's POV

"Hey,where had you gone to?"Mephiles asked

He's with Rouge

"Nothing"I shrugged

"Or with that blue boy?"Rouge smirked

My eyes widened. How did they...were they watching?I blushed at the thought. I was acting nicely,which I know they rarely see,but I acted that way to Sonic. I even laugh!

"I didn't know my cousin is a sweet little boy"Mephiles teased

"Psh. I-i...d-don't call me little"I stuttered

I can clearly see myself acting like a child

"Cute" Rouge continued

I walked away,furiously. Than showing those rather childish actions again. I rolled my eyes at the thought

"C'mon. We're just kidding"Mephiles chuckled

"Which wasn't nice to me"I scoffed

They just chuckled. Those two...are really having fun teasing me

"Shadow"A low voice called me

I looked only to see Scourge. Standing with his so called gang

"What's with that scene lately?"Scourge said in almost a growl

I furrowed my brows in confusion. What the hell is he talking about?Until,realization hit me

"Me having lunch with Sonic?Is that even a big deal to you?"I rose my brows

He was taken back of what I said. But try to remain fine

"Yes. I thought you hate him?"Scourge asked

Why does he even care?

"At first. But I had enough Scourge. What I was doing was wrong. Hurting people just because of my problems? That's not a real valid reason to hurt people. And I learned"I remarked

He chuckled

"Oh. The so called intimidating Shadow The Hedgehog is having a heart of gold now? How...ironic"Scourge growled

"So,does that means you're betraying us?"Fiona hissed

"Wait,"I chuckled

"Just not hating the person you hate means betraying? We're like a child,fighting here,with a nonsense reason"I growled

"Besides...I know your deeds on me anyway"I said

They seem to be all taken back. But Scourge hissed

"Let's just go. This is pointless"Scourge said before walking away

"Who are those?"Mephiles asked

"The so called 'freinds' of mine"I said in distaste

He just smiled
