Chapter 17

"I received text from Tails just a while ago.They were on the airport.His aunt just arrived"Sonic informed Knuckles while looking at his phone scrolling down

"I'm glad the report went as the way we wanted it to be"Knuckles sighed

"When it was finished,it was like I was out in the fiery fires of hell"Knuckles said

Sonic gave him a low chuckle

"Specially when the teacher was throwing questions.Man...good thing I have a smart one beside me"Knuckles said continuously

"What's the next subject?"

"P.E?Ah no...the next is,Math"said Knuckles

"Thanks"Sonic said

"I'm gonna use the bathroom"Knuckles furrowed his brows and place a hand on his stomach

Sonic nodded

Sonic pull out his notebook out of his bag.He started to do his homework.Their newest topic on English wasn't that easy.He heard footsteps walking towards him.He didn't look at the said being.He thought it was Knuckles

"Hey,Blue"A voice said

Sonic feel like a smirk was on the said being's voice

"Yes? Knuckles?"Sonic chuckled

He stopped writing.The voice doesn't belong to Knuckles.It was from someone else

"Knuckles? Wrong answer"The said being chuckled

The person leaned closer to Sonic

"We have a homework,right Sonic?Can you... do ours?"The person chuckled darkly before throwing his notebook on Sonic violently

Sonic looked at the person

Shadow along with Scourge

"Can you do it for me?"Shadow smiled

"If you don't...something will happen at your friend"Scourge chuckled

Sonic whimpered.He held the notebook on his hand and started to write down some answers.Sonic didn't know why he was doing this.Like he has zero control over his actions.Is it because he was dreading?

Shadow let out a laughter

"Such foolishness.You let yourself be fooled?"Shadow laughed

Sonic stopped writing

"See?"Shadow laughed

Shadow took the notebook out of Sonic's hands

"What a weakling"Scourge laughed

"We better get going.Rouge and the others are waiting for us,"Shadow said

"Goodbye,Blue.And thanks for the homework"Shadow grinned

Once they're gone,Sonic burst out his tears.Shadow's words made him feel so weak.So foolish.He felt ashamed.Sonic wiped his tears.He sobbed.He heard the bell ringing.Sonic pack is things up and stood up

Math class had just finished.Students are waiting for their P.E teacher.They're excited about the activity.Sonic stared blankly at the whiteboard

Mr.David,their P.E teacher entered.Students giggled excitedly

"Let's go to the field"Mr.David smiled

Student's enthusiasm were seen.They all quickly stood up from their seats and formed a line.The students walked downstairs

Once in the field,Mr.David discuss about the important things to do before doing an exercise;stretching

The students introduce themselves on the teacher. He didn't met them since their P.E subject is every Friday. Mostly,the students are new to him

Unexpected to them,they heard the sound of the alarm inside the school.They were alerted

"Stay here class. Don't panic. I'll assist the other students inside"said Mr.David before hastily making his way inside the school

As what Sonic was seeing,there was no sign of any danger. Students were muttering things

Minutes later,Mr.David was walking towards them

"Sir,what happened?"Asked curiously by the purple hedgehog

"Someone had pulled a prank. Whoever that was,he or she pulled the alarm. Does any of you know that this will happen?"Mr.David asked

Annoyance visible in his face. Who wouldn't? Someone pulled the alarm that brought panic to the whole school and it was just a prank

Students shook their heads

"Let's go back to the classroom"

As what the students did earlier,they formed a line and make their way on their room

The teachers did a short meeting for what happened. The students are talking about it. Sonic remained silent. The principal walked in

"Does any of you,know this will happen?Or know someone will do this?"The principal tried to remained calm

But anger and the same annoyance was visible

"No sir"The students said in unison

"I-"

"Sir,"A female teacher interrupted

"We determined who the student was"The female teacher continued

The three person walked out

"Class,remain silent. We're just going to have a short meeting with this"Mr.David shortly said before following the principal

Sonic saved Knuckles' seat. He overheard a conversation behind him

"When I was about to return the book to my teacher,I didn't know she was on the principal's office. I saw Shadow  inside"

"Really?So is he the one who pulled the alarm?"

"Probably"

Knuckles sat on their seat,but Sonic was unaware of his presence

"Sonic?"Knuckles waved a hand in front of his face

"O-oh"Sonic's eyes widened

Sonic and knuckles started to ate their lunch. Sonic remained silent about the conversation he had heard. He decided not to tell Knuckles,or the both can get into more trouble

"What was our homework on Math?"Knuckles asked

"About sets"Sonic replied

"Alright. Thanks. And another one in English right?"Knuckles asked

Sonic nodded in response

"Sorry for leaving you at the recess time"Sonic apologized

"Nah it's okay. I made it in my class just in time anyway"Knuckles chuckled

Shadow bursted on the door. He looked completely pissed off. Students remained silent and didn't talk about it,unless you want to get beat up. He sat beside Rouge. Sonic didn't realize he was staring at Shadow

Shadow stared back at him. But Sonic can't clearly see. Until he reassured himself Shadow's crimson iris's were staring back at him,but Sonic can't read his emotions. His eyes widen and took his gaze off on him

"How long was I staring at him?"Sonic mentally thought before he continued to eat
