24. Bye

Today is the day I officially move out of Geo's house. I've been trying to get used to calling Brysen's house mine. I woke up and Geo was literally laying across my body. I was laying vertically and Geo was laying on top of me horizontally. I slapped his back.

"Get off of me..heavy ass," I said.

"No. You're not leaving me," He said into the bed.

"Well you're heavy and you're crushing me," I said.

"Can you move?" He asked.

"No I can barely breathe," I said.

"Then I'm doing my job," He replied.

"Geo... Geo... Geo... Geo," I kept repeating myself and slapping his back.

"The only way I'll get up is if you promise to kiss me," He smiled.

"I can't kiss you if you're on me," I said.

"That's why I said promise me."

I didn't want to kiss him. I was still sacred about the whole Waleed situation.

"Or I can just do this," I said struggling to get from under him but I did.

"Kissing me that bad?" He asked.

"No of course not babe. I love you and your incredibly soft lips," I reassured him.

"Then what is it? You've been kinda distance lately," He told me.

"I know..I just..I have a lot on my mind. Don't take offense to it," I said. He nodded but I knew he was still concerned.

"Anything I can do?" He asked. 

"No."

"Okay but just remember that I'm here for you," He said. He pulled me into a strong passionate kiss that I've longed for to make me feel normal. To make me feel like he would forgive me and our relationship would be stronger but it just pulled me back into a thought that he wouldn't forgive me and that it would end our relationship. So I just smiled a fake smile.

I got out of bed and got in the shower. It took me like a hour and a half. I loved the feeling of the hot water going down my back. I could stay here forever. I said in my mind. That was a soothing thought. But I eventually got out.

I was looking for something to wear when Geo came behind me and tackled me with kisses.

"W-what was that for?" I asked laughing.

"Because I love you," He told me.

I guess my face grew sad because Geo said, "Well I don't love that face. What's wrong?" 

"Um...I'm just going to miss you," I said and he pulled me into a hug.

I hugged him. I heard his heartbeat and tapped his back to the beat. 

"It beats for you," He told me as we were still hugging.

I took a deep breath, "I know it does."

I was struggling to bring my suitcase down the stairs when I heard Brysen hunk his horn. Shortly after he knocked on the door.

"COME IN!" I yelled.

He open the door, "Are you ready?"

"Yep. I just want to say bye to everyone," I said.

"Yeah. Of course," He said. "You want me to put that in the car?"

"Yeah," I handed him the suitcase and went back upstairs.

I went to Logan's room first. Me and Logan kinda got close over Geo's Florida trip. He was nice. I knocked on the door.

"It's opened," He said. I opened the door. "Courtney." 

"Logan," I replied.

"So it's your last day," He said.

"More like last few seconds."

"Wait you're leaving right now?" He asked.

"Yeah. Brysen is literally waiting for me downstairs." 

"Oh. I thought you would leave later or at night"

"Nope," I said. "I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone." I kinda started to tear up.

"Awe Court," He said pulling me into a hug.

"God, don't call me that," I said whipping my tears. "Why am I so damn dramatic?" 

"I don't know," He chuckled. He released me from the hug and wiped my tears.

"Thanks," I said.

"For what?" He asked.

"For taking care of me when Geo went to Florida, and for not hating me when I made all that drama between Geo and Waleed. That must have been awkward for you as well," I said.

"Courtney that was not your fault at all. You can't control people's reactions and how they will feel about certain situations," He told me.

"I know. It's just hard to remember sometimes," I said.

"Oh come here," He said pulling me into another hug and we both chuckled a little. "You're like a little sister to me. I love you." 

"I love you too," I said. "I should probably get going." 

"Okay. Hey don't go ghosts just because we don't live in the same house," He chuckled.

I laughed, "Okay." 

And with that I left. Then I went to Waleed's room. I knocked on the door.

"Come in," He said.

I opened the door. "Courtney!" He jumped a little and got up from his bed.

"Um..Hey," I said.

"Hey." 

"Um-"

I interruped him, "I was just about to leave. I wanted to say bye to everyone." 

"You're leaving right now?" He asked.

"Yeah..so..um bye," I said. I was about to slip out of the door.

"No um come sit," He said.

I sat on his bed. We sat in silence for a few seconds. 

"Waleed thanks for teaching me so much about myself," I said.

He looked at me for a second, "I love you."

"Waleed.." 

He interrupted me, "And I'm not saying this to make you feel any type away. I just need you to know, ya know?"

"I-I guess," I said.

"You're are special. Geo's lucky to have you," He told me

"Doesn't feel like that when I'm lying to his face," I admitted. I feel like Waleed's the only person I can talk to about this. He gets it. He's close to Geo like I am.

"I know..And I'm sorry that my actions caused you to have to lie to him."

"It's okay. I just hope he doesn't react..Ya know..badly." 

"Yeah," He said.

"I'm gonna miss you Waleed," I said hugging him.

He hugged me back tightly, "I'm gonna miss you more." 

I released him and got up, "I'm gonna go say bye to Geo." 

"Okay," He said. I walked out the door but before I closed it I waved.

I went to Geo's room and he wasn't there. I checked the bathrooms and he wasn't there either. I went back downstairs and saw him talking to Bry.

"There you are," I said.

"Here I am," He smiled.

I chuckled, "I'm going to miss you."

He hugged me and I was sobbing, "Stop crying."

"I'm sorry. I'm just so damn dramatic," I said chuckling.

"I'm gonna miss you too babygirl," Geo told me.

Brysen fake coughed, "Cringe."

"Oh shut up," Me and Geo said.

I laughed. I felt normal in his arms, "I love you so much." 

"I love you too," Geo said then he smashed his lips into mine.

I kissed him back and it got heated.

"Oh come on you two. We don't have time for this," Brysen said.

"Okay fine," I said. Geo let me go.

"Call me tonight?" Geo asked.

"Yeah," I said. "Bye." 

"Bye." 

Me and Brysen walked to the car and got in. He started the car and we drove off. Geo stood at the door and watched us and I watched him untill he was just a blur in the distance.

"You guys are so damn dramatic. You're literally 2 blocks away from each other," Brysen said.

"Yeah but we can't see each other for three days."

"Oh well that makes sense...NOT!" Brysen said.

I chuckled, "You're funny...NOT!"

We both chuckled.

Hey!...Okay it's not that exciting lol. I'm hungry.
