Rage , power stand "2"

An eerie silence surrounded several districts of Orario that night, the streets that were buzzing with crowds and visitors for the festival were deserted , hollow like a ghost town , outside the walls camps were placed all around the terrain ,lights from torches illuminating the ground , people couldn't sleep that night as they kept watching their city and home under fire . Although the walls were obscuring vision but it was more clear now to spot the orange glow and smoke from several places in the city, c the moon and stars hid behind the clouds that were announcing the arrival of a storm to the people's demise . Everyone prayed that the peaceful morning would come quickly so they can return to their abandoned homes ,

It wasn't the case for those who chose to hide in Babel tower, the building was the most safe place in Orario , yes ,but it was also the easiest target to reach. Aina alongside several guild members were distributing rations to the civilians who couldn't gather enough supplies to themselves while evacuating

"mommy , would dad be alright ?" a little girl was shaking in fear while holding her mom's coat , they were sitting on some mat on the floor with a blanket covering them

Aina heard the girl and approached her with a small smile in her face " don't worry , he will be alright , all the adventurers are fighting together now , so everyone will look at each other , here I have a gift for you" and aina brought a small candy from her bag , she bought them today from the festival ,but she didn't had the time to enjoy them.

A guild staff rushed towards Aina to report :" we ve checked with the gate keepers, they ve closed all the gates now , the civilians in other wings had be given enough supplies for the night , while the injured were moved to a different floor along side Miach familia "

"thank you for your hard work , take a small break then go check on the adventurers on the lower floors " Aina replied with a stern face , this attack was far from ordinary , it was almost at the same scale and magnitude of the Evilus attack 7 years ago. Her thoughts were interrupted by a huge earthquake , it was as if the tower was hitted by something huge.

Screams of civilians echoed through the hall , while most people who were standing were thrown to the ground . then another tremor occurred followed by a third one

"whats going on out there!" Aina shouted , people panicking around her didn't help her much.

Outside the tower the situation wasn't looking good for the adventurers holding babel's gates ,

3 Giant demi spirits where throwing broken houses at the tower , the one at the middle was relatively larger than the others , it had a half body of that of a human , while the lower part was a mix of plant monster, worm well , and dozen of human faces that the monster devoured , Viteau the master mind was on top of the plant looking at the tower while two of his Aides where commanding the other plants . Soon as the adventurers rushed the babel tower towards the square to intercept the monsters , viteau waved to his other two followers , It was the moment they waited for , it was a huge magic spell was being gathered for a while . as the first wave of adventurers arrived the purple flames howled forward , burning everything in its path , those who were at the front weren't able to dodge or hide ,as they turned to ashes in seconds. Surprisingly many others managed to dodge in time¸yet it took them only a moment to look at their sides for their bodies to start shivering

Several tower gates were destroyed by the attack behind them

"Now , lets climb this tower , shall we ?" viteau announced in an amused tone

In Daedalus street , the expected battle finally broke out ,Loki familia alongside all other adventurers who gathered from different familias , Hermes familia members , Hestia familia members with the exception of Haruhime , but she was replaced by Cassandra and Daphne as miach took Naaza with him to help in treating the injured.

Daphne however wasn't in her best conditions to fight ,dark circles were tracing under her eyes as she tried her best to stand up and focus .Her nightmares kept showing everyday ever since the guild closed the dungeon, and they were all the same , she saw herself here with everyone , the gruesome death of people in Daedalus alley , the creepy monsters surrounding them , a loud screech resounded in the sky followed by the turret of giant flames falling at them threatening to burn everything In its way. She woke up everytime before the flames reach them

"Daphne please ,I beg you , let us leave , please , we need to leave this place before the flames burn us all , if we didn't die fighting these creatures first!" she hysterically shouted while grabbing her friend's robe

"Cut it up Cassandra , even if we face a dangerous situation ¸ we need to fight to save this city , its our home after all" daphne replied to her .

Lilly was making the final preparations while pointing the enemies location using the map Fell's gave them , they need to cut through the enemy lines and close the Knosos gates then flank the giant Demi spirits to end them together

"..and here , that's our target , Ryu san will lead from the roof , you ll be our eyes and ears while we kill the enemies on the ground , everyone ,are you ready?!" she shouted

"get me out of here " the whisper of Cassandra was barely loud for anyone to pick
