Going home

(Harry's POV)We have finally finished the paperwork. It's been 2 years since the war and I don't think I've had to fill out that much since, but I'm now, officially, an Auror. I got my suit, badge, and everything, and I'm due to report to work at 7 a.m. next Monday, one week from now. As we leave we decide to go to Diagon Alley and get a Butterbeer, maybe eat and see if we can get some stuff for Teddy&James, like clothes, some baby toys and such, I'm not sure, just whatever babies like.

(Ginny's POV)

I hope my husbands happy, just thinking about that damn paperwork makes my head hurt. I'm obviously glad he's happy, and finally doing something he's wanted to do since 5th year, he's earned it, and I know he'll do great. I'm also equally happy that we're going to spend today together, and I don't care how selfish I sound. I've missed being alone with my husband. He makes everything better.As we exit the Ministry, he grabs my hand and we apparate to Diagon Alley, which is of course, busy as always. At least about a year ago people stopped freaking out if they saw "The Chosen One". Even the young women, they would freak out when I'm around and try to flirt with him. Let's just say if got crazy a few times. Anyway, that's beside the point. We decide to go eat at the Leaky Cauldron before we do any shopping, because it's been a long day and we didn't really eat much of a breakfast this morning.*rather short time skip*

(Harry's POV)

Ginny and I just apparated in front of the Leaky Cauldron, both eager to eat or first real meal of the day and drink some Butterbeer. We both walked in and were slightly surprised to see Ron and Hermione sitting at a table ordering their meals. As soon has Hermione saw us, she squealed and called us over to the table whilst Ron laughed and pulled over extra chairs. Ginny and I sat down and began to catch up with them, even though it's only been a few days since we've seen each other, it's longer than usual."So, guess what Harry did today!" exclaimed Ginny. "What?" said Ron and Hermione in unison. "He's now, officially, an Auror!" stated Ginny rather happily. "Yep," I smiled,"I start work next Monday!" "That's great, Harry!" said Hermione"I knew you could do it!" exclaimed Ron. After a few random conversations, Ginny and I decided to head out, after, of course, planning to ask Mum if we could have a dinner at the Burrow to tell the news to everyone around this Wednesday or so. After all saying our goodbyes and parting our ways, Ginny and I head out to the crowd of rush hour in Diagon Alley.

I'M BACK!!!I really couldn't stay away from this for long, and this chapter was some of what I already had written months ago, but never finished because I ended, and now finished. So apologies for any mistakes my past self made in the first (9😂) 3/4 or so of this chapter. Is anyone happy that I'm back? I know there were a ton of comments on my previous question saying yes, and I really appreciate that. I also appreciate 35K READS! I never expected to get that far and I owe it all to you guys, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here.
