11:49, 24 July 2025It was barely dawn when the Stray Kids dorm began to stir with soft groans, sleepy yawns, and rustling clothes. They had a performance today - an early morning schedule that none of them were truly excited for, except maybe their ever-dedicated manager.
Well... most of them were up. All except one.
Y/N's POV:
I was already dressed, clipboard and phone in hand, cross-legged on the dorm sofa while reviewing the schedule for the day. The boys were moving around the dorm, getting ready - half-awake, half-dressed chaos - and I was making mental checklists when I felt a familiar weight drop onto my lap.
I looked down.
"Seriously, oppa?" I muttered, raising an eyebrow as Jisung comfortably laid his head across my lap like it was made for him.
"You need to get up, oppa," I said softly, brushing his hair out of his face. "We're on a tight schedule."
"Y/naaaaah," he groaned, nuzzling into my hoodie like a clingy cat. "Just five more minutes. Please."
"We don't have five minutes." I gave his head a light smack. "Come on, STAYs are already lining up for the show."
"That's fine, I'll be quick," he mumbled, voice muffled. His arms snaked around my waist as he curled closer. "Just lemme hug you for a bit."
I sighed, but didn't push him off. Jisung and I were close - too close, according to some of the staff. But it wasn't weird for us. This was just him. Just... Han being Han.
Felix's POV:
I had just finished fixing my hair and stepped out of the hallway when I caught sight of them.
Jisung. Laying on her lap. Arms wrapped around her waist like it was his personal space. And Y/N... she was just scrolling through her phone like nothing was happening.
I stopped dead in my tracks.
I wasn't angry - no, not exactly. But something tightened in my chest. I hated how natural they looked like that. Like he belonged there.
Without saying anything, I walked over, trying to keep my tone playful as I smacked Jisung's butt.
"Wake up, bro. We're leaving soon."
Jisung groaned but peeled himself off her and dragged himself toward the dressing room. I took his spot beside her without a second thought.
Y/N's POV:
Felix walked in, and I swear I momentarily forgot how to breathe.
He looked... unreal. Slightly damp hair, sharp jawline, the black stage outfit fitting him too perfectly. And when he sat beside me, the scent of his cologne drifted in, making my heart do something stupid.
"Woah," I whispered before I could stop myself. "You look really handsome today, oppa."
He turned to me, that deep Aussie voice of his dropping lower. "Do I?" he smirked.
"Yeah... You're definitely about to steal every STAY's heart today."
He leaned in a little, voice teasing, "Did I steal yours, too?"
My eyes widened, and I knew my cheeks were flaming. Please don't blush. Please don't blush.
I looked away and muttered under my breath, "You stole it the moment I joined this company."
Of course, I didn't say it out loud. I just kept pretending to scroll on my phone while he chuckled beside me and sipped his water.
Author's POV:
Before Y/N could recover from her mini heart attack, Hyunjin strutted out in full stage glam, flipping his hair dramatically as he flopped down on the other side of the sofa.
Y/N's POV:
"Heyyy, Hyunjin-oppa!" I grinned. "You look dangerous today. Don't go breaking hearts on stage."
He smirked, tossing his hair. "I mean, I do try to stay humble, but what can I say? I was born hot."
I laughed. "Confidence level: Hyunjin."
Then, without warning, Felix leaned forward, gaze locked on me. "Y/N," he said, suddenly serious, "who looks better today? Me or him?"
My eyes widened. "Huh? Are we really doing this right now?"
Hyunjin joined in, resting his arm along the back of the sofa. "Come on, you have to pick. No running away."
I glanced between them, both smirking, both waiting.
"You're both handsome," I said diplomatically.
Hyunjin pouted dramatically. "Coward."
Felix leaned closer, voice low. "That wasn't an answer."
Before I could make things worse, Chan's voice called out from down the hallway.
Chan: "Alright, everyone! It's go time! Y/N, you ready to go?"
Y/N: "Yup! Checklist is done, van's waiting, and you're all looking gorgeous as hell."
Jisung (shouting): "Awwww thanks, manager-nimmm!"
Chan: "You sure you're good with coordinating everything at the venue today? It's gonna be packed."
Y/N: "Don't worry. I've got it all under control. Let's make this performance smooth and unforgettable."
Everyone grabbed their bags, and I followed them out the dorm door, ready to take on another day of chaos, glitter, and heart-throbbing idols.
But one thing stuck with me as we walked down the hall - Felix's voice, low and teasing.
"Did I steal yours too?"
If only he knew... he already had it.
