"Persephone, I need to get someone" Marcus almost begged as the girl perched herself on the end of her bed.

Marcus looked around and noticed how bare everywhere was, but what he didn't miss was the knife marks indented in the wall across from where her bed was.

Sephy used to throw them towards the wall imagining that Em was still there.

"You can't, Marcus" she pleaded back grabbing onto his bicep tightly, she had started to come back round from when she had passed out but she still wasn't one hundred percent.

"Persephone have you seen how much blood there is I can't just-"

"Please" Sephy croaked suddenly bursting into tears, the first time properly since the day she killed her family. The tears streamed down her cheeks and they wouldn't stop.

"Persephone" cooed Marcus stepping forward and wrapping his arms around her small frame as it shook but she never stopped repeating,

"Please"

She sobbed and sobbed into his chest until his T-shirt became drenched.

The pain in her arms from the scratches overtaken by the pain her heart.

Marcus finally pulled away and cupped her face between both hands, his eyes frantically searching over her face for something he couldn't pinpoint.

"Okay okay okay" He hushed, his thumb rubbing her cheek slightly "it's just me and you, okay?" He lifted her chin to make their eyes connect and he asked again "okay?"

She nodded violently, if Master Lin found out what she was doing he'd be so disappointed. He'd been telling her to use the flashbacks to unleash her violence but she couldn't do it anymore.

"Hey, I said it's okay" Marcus whispered leaning his head down to press their foreheads together, he hoped that the contact would calm her. Accidentally, his thumb brushed over her lip and she let a small sound out.

Marcus wasn't sure whether it was a sigh or a moan, so he proceeded to do it again.

Just for experimental purposes.

Sephy closed her eyes as she felt his warm hands as they danced across her face, she allowed herself to nuzzle into his hand and finally the tears halted and she was able to flicker her eyes open.

Marcus leaned down and glanced at Sephy's lips, they had plumped due to her crying and he wanted so badly to press them against his own. The urge pulled him until they were so close that they could almost feel it.

"Marcus" Sephy whispered but Marcus could only hear it as a moan and it only made him want to kiss her harder.

Sephy found her hands dancing up his chest ready to wrap them around his neck so she too could taste his lips. She craved them, her heavy breathing showed that.

But she couldn't do it, he was with Maria.

"Marcus" she repeated again, feeling as their breath mingled "you have a girlfriend" she finally broke closing her eyes to keep her from crying again.

Marcus, however, didn't move from his position though he did halt his slow movements towards her lips.

"What did you need to tell me?" He whispered keeping his eyes fixed on Sephy's face, he probably couldn't have looked anywhere else due to their close proximity.

"You first" she replied in a similar quiet whisper, Marcus smirked and nodded at her response.

"We need to find someone from my past" he responded. Sephy chewed down on her lip and assessed his facial expressions, he looked so much more panicked.

"Scar boy?" She questioned raising an eyebrow towards him and his jaw hung open.

"How'd you know I-"

Sephy cut him off by laughing, truthfully it had just been a coincidence that she'd guessed him but it was because she knew he had no one else.

"Can I kill him?" She asked running her tongue down upon her lips, she wanted so badly to hurt the boy who had scared such a beautiful face but Marcus smirked and shook his head,

"Me first" he chuckled.

"We find him, YOU kill him, and then we find someone from my past, okay?" She questioned and the pair fell silent again, Marcus agreed with a subtle nod.

"You dont even know why we've got to find him" Marcus laughed finally pulling his hands away from Sephy's face so that he could thread his hand through his hair.

"I don't need to know" she responded, sending him a sad smile, "I trust you"
