First day at Tdoong University.........

As Chaeyoung walks at the Tdoong University's hallway, she felt shy and was looking for her friends. Still have that little spark at her fire of ambition, she was ready. Dahyun, a friend of hers, with Tzuyu, noticed her and approached her excitedly.

Dahyun: wassup Chaengggg

Chaeyoung: yo yo yoooo

Tzuyu: you told me you're not gonna switch schools

Chaeyoung: I can't let you guys be here alone, I'll be with you for a year

Tzuyu: just a year?

Chaeyoung: yeah sadly, we'll be moving soon

Dahyun: where? Another town? Another city?

Chaeyoung: *sighs* another country actually

Chaeyoung said with a disheartened tone

Dahyun: I'm not gonna see my Chaeyoung anymore?

Chaeyoung: For a while Dub, I'll be back in just a year

*bell rings*

Dahyun: come on, we better hurry, class prez isn't gonna like this

*in class*

Chaeyoung: mind introducing some peeps here?

Tzuyu: sure, firstly that's Nayeon, the oldest in the class. She is one of the caring students here

Dahyun: That's a fact, but you know, she has too much self-confidence and I need some T^T. Btw that's Jeongyeon. The girl crush of the campus

Chaeyoung: I heard Jihyo is the class president here, right?

Dahyun: yep, she's over there, kinda strict but still soft-hearted

Tzuyu: oh yeah, and a quick fact, better not mess with her

Tzuyu pointed at Mina, but Chaeyoung didn't paid attention

Chaeyoung: with Jihyo?

Dahyun points at Mina while whispering at Chaengs ear

Dahyun: dude, her

Tzuyu: you didn't paid attention, didn't you

Chaeyoung: sorry, I was observing the class

As Chaeyoung caught a glance of Mina, she immediately felt something she didn't before. As if there were more butterflies fluttering in her stomach. She silently stared at Mina like she was in love. Not until Sana noticed and told Mina. Chaeyoung and Mina both locked eyes but was cut off by Dahyun.

Dahyun: hey hey hey, not now

Tzuyu: I forgot to tell you that she's the cold hearted penguin here

Chaeyoung: the one you kept mentioning in the chat?

Tzuyu: exactly, and she always hang out with Momo and Sana since everyone is kinda afraid of her

Chaeyoung: she looks nice though

Dahyun: that's what I thought the first time I saw her

Chaeyoung: wait, Momo and Sana?

Dahyun: oh yeah, I forgot to introduce them, they are really close friends

Tzuyu: more like soulmates though

Dahyun: anyways, Momo likes to eat a lot so if you have a crush on her, just buy her favorite foods and you might win her heart

Tzuyu: Sana is really clingy to be honest, she likes to hug Momo a lot

Dahyun: not just Momo though, probably everyone else in the class

As the three of them were chatting, Momo noticed them and heard their names as she eats

Momo: do you guys think........... They're talking something about us?

Mina: did you hear them mention our names?

Momo: um........yeah

Mina: well, it's most likely then

Sana: not right now Mina, she's still new

Mina: sure sure, I'm still in the mood

Momo: that's new

All chats stopped when their first teacher went in the classroom and started writing on the board. Chaeyoung still has her eyes fixed on Mina and couldn't stop thinking about the time so that she can introduce herself.

*few hours later*

*bell rings*

Prof. Baek: I guess it's time, I'll see you guys tomorrow, don't forget to hand in the activity by 5pm. Understand?

Jihyo: will do sir

*lunch time*

As usual, the trio sat together and having their lunch like the good old days. Mina sat across them with Momo and Sana. Mina stood up and went to get food, Chaeyoung took the opportunity to approach Mina.

Tzuyu: where are you going Chaeng?

Chaeyoung: I'll just get some food

Dahyun: still hungry?

Chaeyoung: kinda, I'll be back

As Chaeyoung walks toward where Mina is, Dahyun noticed something off with her

Dahyun: Chaeyoung is....acting weird today, isn't she

Tzuyu: oh come on, don't act like you don't know Chaeng's appetite, she just wanted to meet Mina there

Dahyun: wait what?

Tzuyu: let her be, I want to see what happens

Chaeyoung saw Mina quietly getting her lunch, she quickly introduced herself

Chaeyoung: uhhhh, hi! I'm Chaeyoung, a new student here. Nice to meet you

Chaeyoung said as she lifts her hand, ready to shake hands with her. Mina only looked at her and ignored her hand.

Chaeyoung slowly put her hand down in disbelief

Mina: I heard you guys are talking about us

Chaeyoung: oh uhh, I just asked them about everyone since you know, I'm still trying to get to know everything here

Mina: is that so?

Chaeyoung: yeah, I heard that people call you a cold hearted penguin?

Mina: you know that too huh, I mean, everyone does

Mina placed down her tray and went closer to Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung: uhhhh

Mina: I'm Mina, nice to meet you too

Chaeyoung: oh *blushes*

Mina: I don't like girls by the way, don't fall in love with me, I won't feel the same

Chaeyoung felt rejected even though she haven't confessed. When Mina went back at their table, she went back to Dahyun and Tzuyu with a small side of salad at her tray

Dahyun: what took you so long Chaeng? You okay?

Tzuyu: what did she say?

Chaeyoung: huh?

Dahyun: Tzu and I know you went to introduce yourself to Mina, did she scold you?

Tzuyu: ignored or something?

Chaeyoung: no, she actually introduced herself to me, too, but I felt rejected or something

Tzuyu: omg, for real?!

Chaeyoung: why? D-Did I do something wrong?

Dahyun: Mina barely introduce herself to others unless a teacher tells her to so

Chaeyoung: I mean she casually did that, I thought she always do that

Nayeon heard about Mina introducing herself to Chaeyoung and immediately went to their table

Nayeon: Mina did what?

Chaeyoung: she introduced herself to me a while ago, why?

Nayeon: really???

Jeongyeon saw Nayeon and went there too

Jeongyeon: Nabongs, why are you here?

Nayeon: Mina introduced herself to a new student

Jeongyeon: for real???

Nayeon: and you're not believing me?

Nayeon said as she smacks Jeongyeon

Jeongyeon: ow, ow stop stop! No no, it's not like that. It's just the first time Mina did that so I don't know

Nayeon: that's what I thought Jeong

Chaeyoung: did she introduce herself to you guys before?

Nayeon and Jeongyeon: yeah

Nayeon: but not intentionally, our homeroom teacher told her to do so. Unlike what happened to you a while ago, I might consider you special

Jihyo: what's the commotion here???

Dahyun: class prez........

Jeongyeon: come with me, *whispers* Mina introduced herself to a transferee

Jihyo: a teacher asked her to do so?

Jeongyeon: no one did

Jihyo: really?! That's a first

Jeongyeon: I know rightttt

At the other table, Sana and Momo saw Mina quietly smirks as they eat their lunch

Sana: what did you do??? What's that smirk for?

Mina: oh it's nothing

Momo: did you make someone cry again?

Mina: hey, it's not like that, I just told someone they can't have feelings with me

Momo: you're sure weird today

Sana: she's just herself Momo, nothing to be worried about

*bell rings*

Lunch time was over and they went back to their classes. Little did they know, Mina felt something new about her when she went closer to Chaeng. Her heart raced unlike before. Mina denied it and thought it's just because she rejected someone. But Sana and Momo, being her friends for years, know that there was someone that made Mina's heart raced, and that someone was Chaeyoung. Still, they need to confirm it.
