just as aarohi kept her phone down, it rang loudly. she picked it up, pressing it to her ear.

"haan nishika, bolo"

"aarohi, come to the cafeteria, jaldi!"

"kya hua"

"arre aao na theres a crowd forming its serious*

aarohi grabbed her room keys, slipped on her sandals and practically ran to the cafeteria. when she entered, it was empty, except nishika, who was sitting with a guy, chatting happily.

nishika looked up suddenly, her eyes meeting aarohi's and she smiled, getting up, walking over.

"all the best" she whispered, passing her

aarohi tilted her head, confused, walking over to the guy. as she got closer, everything clicked into place, and she gasped softly.

abhishek turned around, smiling nervously."hi rohi"

"abhi." she whispered. "hi"

he stared at her for a second, then pulled her into a hug, making her arms wrap around him."you have no idea how long i've wanted to do this" he whispered, pulling away slightly, his arms still around her waist. she gasped slightly, her eyes darting her between his as he continued speaking.

"I've gone back and forth in my head about whether I should say this, but keeping it in feels heavier every day. The truth is, you've become the most important person in my life without even trying. You're the first thought that crosses my mind in the morning and the last one before I fall asleep. So be with me."

she stared at him, smiling softly.

"of course i will." she hugged him again, then pulled away, laughing as she wiped a tear.

"you're such a loser. is this why you've been offline all day?"

"yeah i would've immediately told you i was coming."
