Chapter 17

Third Person's POV

"Father? Father please!! Father, no!!!" Yoko begged her father, but Chao still drag her and push her in the dark room. "You will learn your lesson in there, you stupid fuck!! Simple study, can't even make it perfect!! Why don't you copy your sisters??? Huh? I always waste money on you!!" Yoko hears him shout.

"I am tired of hitting you, I am tired of you, why can't you just die!!!" He kept on shouting, while Yoko kept on crying.

Yoko doesn't know what to do, it's a cold and dark basement. It scares her so much, "father! Please, forgive me! I do everything, just please, let me out of here!!" Yoko beg.

And Chao opens the door, "you better do good in your studies!! Fuck!" Chao left Yoko and the other servants murmured and looked at her in disgust.

"I heard she's the reason why her grandparents died,"

"Yeah me too, that is probably why prince Chao was so mad at her."

"Have you heard that she is a jinx. She tried killing her siblings,"

"Gosh, she's really a disaster. That is why her mom never likes her." She heard them, and it breaks her heart.

Many days later on, she went into school, with sunglasses and a face mask. Her senior, the princess Becky saw her and approach her.

"Yoko? Wanna eat with us?" Becky asked, and Yoko shook her head, Becky notice that something is wrong, "did prince Chao hit you again?" Becky asked, in a low voice so only her and Yoko will hear.

Becky embraces Yoko, "I'll be here, why don't you stay in the palace for a while?" Becky asked, and Yoko shook her head. "I have to study first, princess Becky. So please, don't get involve with me." Yoko said, and left Becky alone.

As days passed by, Yoko focuses in her studies, no sleep nights, and no rest in the days. She took pills, she took painkillers for headaches, she wanted to make her father proud, and more importantly, make him attend her graduation.

A simple goal, but hard to achieve.

Yoko suddenly felt something is coming out of her nose, until it fell in her paper, she realized that it was nosebleed. Yoko suddenly felt so dizzy, she went everywhere in the room, and then reach out for the door.

She went outside, and her vision started to get blurry, "Oh gosh, what's happening?" She asked herself, and suddenly passed out.

Luckily, Becky and Marissa saw her and immediately called 911. After that, they took Yoko in the hospital. Several laboratories and test have been made to her, and they found out that she was over fatigued.

"She's in the verge of a critical condition right now, and what's hard for us is she developed different conditions. The medicines, pills and other things she took, not to mention that she never ate meals, makes her body even weaker. If Duke Yu push herself, there's a high chance for her to develop tumor, due to lack of sleep." The doctor explained, and king Chang sighed in sadness.

"I understand, doctor, thank you."

Fast forward, to the day of exam. Yoko still pushes herself to finish the exam and finals herself, and after that, she already got the test result. She was the very top 1 who got all subject to be perfect.

Yoko was very happy, and she was very excited to show it to her father and mother when she got home. Despite her, facing conditions, having a pale face, she never cared for herself.

At night, Yoko got home. She was smiling, and when she return, Chao suddenly throw a glass at her head, causing her head to bleed. "You stupid!!! Come here!"

Chao grab Yoko and slap her face really hard, causing her another nosebleed. Yoko started to tremble in fear,

"How could you?!! You made an issue in the social media that you were sick so you can get people's attention???" Chao slap her really hard again and again and again.

Rutricha came and make her father calm down, "father, please. Your heart." She said, and Chao calm a bit.

"You should never stop me from hitting that stupid girl!!" Chao kept on shouting, and Siraphun is just drinking her wine while reading a book, totally not caring about them.

"Father, Yoko is weak, we cannot push further, please leave it to me." Rutricha said, and Chao calm down.

Rutricha helped Yoko to stand up, and suddenly, Lux, Milk, View and Anda came and saw them.

"What the hell? What the hell happened in here?" Lux protested, "father hit Yoko." Rutricha said, but Lux did not care whether she saw Yoko bleeding a lot.

"Father, are you alright?" Lux asked, and Yoko's other siblings approached Chao and asked him if he's fine, but Rutricha did not care. She took her younger sister away from them and help Yoko to walk on the stairs.

After they arrived at Yoko's room, Rutricha helped Yoko to lay down in the bed.

"Yoko, I will call Princess Becky and Marissa to look after you. Sorry if this is all I can do to help you." Rutricha said, showing a guilty face.

"It's fine, thank you, P'Ciize."

"Don't worry, I will not hate you, but bear with me if I have to act just like them, okay?" Ciize said, and Yoko nodded.

Ciize smiled and kiss her forehead, but it turns out to be all just a dream.
