Preperations

The morning sun kissed my skin as I woke up. Feeling Chan's arms around me I look over to him seeing him asleep. He looks so peaceful. I admire him for a little and then try to remove his arm so I could get up.

I successfully got up without waking up so I went to the bathroom. But when I came back he was gone.

"Chris?" I called out

No answer

"Where'd he go?"

Suddenly I felt to arms slide around my waist hugging me from the back.

I blush slightly knowing right away it's him. I turn around and give him a warm smile. He gives me a peck on the lips and gives me one last hug.

"What's with the extra love today?"

"You got a problem with it?"

"Not at all" I say with a slight smirk.

A little time later

I had already gotten ready for the day and I was sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast.

Tomorrow was Friday...our date.

I'm so nervous I don't even know where he's taking me!

"What wrong y/n?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Well you're awfully silent"

"Oh..I was just...thinking"

"About??"

"Nothing"

"You sure you're ok?"

"Yea"

He slid his hand onto mine under the table staring at me with a warm smiling.

I instantly blush and look down at my plate.

The rest of the day I spent with Chris and my parents . They got to know him better and they seem like good friends now.

The next day

It was the day. Our DATE!!!

I woke up in Chris's arms.

Trying not to wake him up I slide out of his arms and get up. I head to the bathroom and start taking a shower.

As I finished my shower I tried up and wrapped myself in a robe. I hung my outfit up on my bathroom door.

I slightly cracked opened the door checking if Chris was awake yet.

He wasn't even there.

I just closed the bathroom door and did my skin care and body care routine.

After my routines I wore some comfy clothes and headed out the bathroom.

I headed out of my room not seeing Chris anywhere.

"Good morning mom"

"Good morning y/n you just missed Christopher"

"Really where did he go?"

"I don't know he just said bye and left"

"Oh..."

Bangchan's POV

"Hey!" Chris speaks on the phone to someone

"Hey!" Replies a deep voice

"So Felix remember what I told you before well it's today and I don't know what gift to pick"

"Well What does she like ?"

"Well honestly I really don't know"

"Chris...how"

"I just never asked"

"Well then I can bake something"

"Look Felix I love you but please not another batch of brownies"

"Fine then go to stores that a lot of girls like"

"I guess I'll search it up on google"

"Ok then good luck!"

"Thanks bye Felix"

"Bye Chris"

Chris searched up where most girls like to shop a the first thing that came up was Victoria secret.

"I guess I'll go there then"

Arriving to the store Chris sees lingerie. He immediately turns red and runs out the store.

"Not going back there I guess" he says with a red embarrassed face.

Y/n's POV

After waiting for a while I called cara.

"Hey Cara!"

"Hey y/n!"

"Sooo isn't your date tonight"

"Yea but I'm so nervous" I said fidgeting my fingers

"Hey you'll be fine! I mean he's literally living at your house right now. You share a room!"

"But still!! We're gonna be at a restaurant alone and it's just.... I don't know"

"Look you're gonna be ok!"

"Yea I know. You know Chris wasn't here today""Really?"

"Yea he left before I even woke up"

"Where'd he go?"

"I don't know..."

"It's ok I'm sure he'll be back soon!"

"Yea.."

"Anyway let's gooo" Cara said as she drove off.

We opened all the windows including the roof. The air blowing through my hair. My favorite song playing on the radio. It was so nice but incomplete. I started to imagine, what if this was me and Chris? I blushed at the thought.

My mind came back to the part where I realized he left before I woke up. Where did he go? My mind raced with stupid things. What if he didn't come back ? I mean he is a leader of a kpop group maybe he didn't like me after all. But why would he. He's the one who asked my parents for my hand.

Coming back to reality I look at Cara smiling and singing along with the song loudly. I smile and join her. Still thinking about Chris in the back of my head.

Chris's POV

"Finally I found the perfect gift. At least I hope it is"

Walking out the mall I head in my car realizing it was late. I was gone so long I wonder what y/n's doing right now.

Checking the time it was 4:37 pm and I had left before y/n was even awake. She must be waiting for me.

I got on my phone and set up a reservation to a restaurant and then went to y/n's home.

Y/n's POV

Me and Cara went around places to talk and to enjoy the day. We went to an area where you can see the ocean clearly not the beach but a little hill area. We sat down and Cara spoke.

"Hey y/n"

"Yea"

"If your parents allow you and Chris to be together will you leave me"

"What?! Of course not!"

"You might say that now but won't you go to him. He can't stay here forever. And I can't go with you."

"Cara I wouldn't never leave you I'll always come and visit if this does happen. But who even knows if it will"

"No it will I know it. Do you see how he looks at you. But hey even if you never come back you'll always be my best friend I'll never forget you"

"Cara don't say that...."

"It's ok everyone has to go anyway."

"Cara..."

"Just please don't forget me" Cara turned to me, her eyes tearing up.

"Cara I would never. I love you so much"

I hugged her tightly

"Cara I'll never leave you don't think that way! I love you so much and you know that!"

We both hugged for a while but then Cara pulled away.

"Hey you have a date today don't let me ruin the mood"

"Cara you can never ruin my mood"

"I'm sorry"

"No Cara don't apologize you've done nothing wrong"

Cara looked to the ground and started to giggle.

"You know what! If you ever leave me or even try to I'll chase you down bitch"

"Cara!" I laughed.

We both sat there with the breeze flowing through our hair. We laughed look at the ocean. Our wet tears drying on our cheeks as the water splashed around.

Those were the moments I loved.

You know when we were younger we made a promise to each other.

(Flashback) ( first time y/n and Cara met elementary school)

"Hey!" A voice shouted at me

"Hello!" I responded

"You wanna be partners?"

"Sure"

*SCHOOL BELL RINGS*

"Ok kids get in a line and go to the outside doors !"

All the kids gathered up and waited for the signal of the teacher to go out for recess.

"You may go! No running until you're full outside!"

Everyone rushed outside ignoring the teacher.

"Hello my name is Cara"

"Hi I'm y/n"

"Since we're partners for the project now that means we should be friends!"

"Yea!"

"When this project is over we should still be friends!"

"Yea!"

"Pinky promise we'll stay friends forever !"

"Pinky promise !"

(Back to reality)

I didn't know it was true. I mean how could this friendship last this long. We were like sisters. Never separated and now she thinks I'll leave just for some guy that I like.

I love her to much to leave.
