Chapter 6

Mix ran to the elevator after the 'eventful' incident. He went inside the empty cubicle while still sobbing. He pressed the ground floor button after he got in.

He looked up the after pressing it and saw Earth running towards him.

"Mix! Mix! I-," Earth wanted to apologise to Mix for what happened but he could finish his saying when the door of the elevator that Mix is in closed.

Earth stopped his tracks in front of the elevator as he let out a curse.

"Shit,"he breathed out. He headed towards the stairs and run downstairs as fast as he could. He knew that taking the stairs would be much slower than the elevator but he needs to get to his Mix.

While Mix in the elevator still had tears pouring out of his eyes. He had his hands clutched tightly on the sides of his jeans, sobbing quietly. He felt pain in his heart still and the image of his P' secretly making out with a girl who seems to be his assistant kills him.

Mix looked up to the screen next to the buttons and realised that he's about to arrive to the ground floor, he quickly wipe off tears and snot from his cheeks with the end of his right sleeve.

The doors of the elevator finally open, Mix instantly went out. He half walk half run to the exit with his right hand covered his face. He tried to ignore people looking at him in confusion.

He went out of the building still having his hand covering his face. He didn't realise well he did realise that there are cars driving fast. Cars, motorcycles and even trucks drove past him in the speed if light.

Mix did not care how dangerous it is, he ran across the road, with his hand still covering his face.

"MIX! LOOK OUT!"

All of the sudden, he heard someone shouted his name with a very familiar voice.

Mix look up front, removing his hand from his face and gasped when he saw a fast sports car drove front of him. Then, he felt a grasp, gripping his arm and pulled him to the sidewalk. And the car drove pass him.

In a second, Mix is already at the sidewalk. Everything happened so fast that Mix didn't realised that he has holding his breath throughout everything.

"Thanks," he breathed out.

"Thank you so mu-" he turned to the stranger who saved him but only saw Earth with an angry expression.

He shrugged his arm off and muttered a 'thank you'. He walked a few steps away from Earth but Earth grabbed his hand as fast as lightning. (Its an idiom, he's not the Flash)

Mix furrowed his eyebrows angrily at Earth as he squirm to get out of Earth's grip.

"What?" He asked.

"'What'?" Earth tried to not yell at Mix. He kept his breathing steady while looking at Mix who has red puffy eyes, flushed upset face and Earth knew if he yell at him it would be worse.

"'What'?" He repeated but his voiced raised to sound angrier.

"What do you mean by, 'What'?"

The voice that Mix rarely heard frightened him, it's not often he and Earth argued. Actually they didn't. Ever since they started their relationship, they never argued. But this scares them both.

"I didn't do that-" Earth explained but was cut off by Mix.

"Yeah? Is it?! I see it differently, I can see how pleasured you were with that girl!" Mix snapped.

"She started it,"

"And you let her!"

There's silence between them, filled with anger. Until Mix spoke.

"Is this why recently?" He asked, breathing heavily.

"What?" Earth got confused.

"You started calling me 'babe' and you went out a lot, and you wouldn't even answer my texts and calls. Is this why?!"

"No, it's not!"

"I called you 'babe' because I want us to be closer, I went out alot because my friends wants us to hang out and the reason why I didn'tanswer your texts because I'm too busy!" Earth explained.

"You're too busy with your friends and decided to hang out with them instead of me?!" Mix scoffed.

They looked at each other in the eyes. Earth could feel rage and jealousy from Mix while Mix could feel plead from Earth.

"You know what?" Mix cleared his throat.

"What?"

"Let's break up," Mix instantly said with his eyes wide.

Earth's heart dropped when he heard those three words that was trauma for him. He's angry, very angry.

His eyes turned red in rage as he kept staring at Mix and the grip on his hand tightened. Mix started to get scared and regretted to say it.

"Come with me," Earth growled as he forcefully dragged Mix to the parking lot.

Mix winced through the pain, "Earth, work-"

"Fuck work. Get in,"

They are in front of the car right now, Mix didn't realise how Earth was walking. Mix is scared, he never seen Earth so angry before.

"Where are you-" Mix wanted to ask where is Earth bringing them but was cut off.

"Get. The fuck. In. The car," Earth said through his teeth.

Mix wanted to scream for help because Earth is scary but he couldn't do anything so he just obeyed him.

He went into the car followed by Earth. Earth groaned as he wore his seat belt and inserted the keys.

The drive was silent. Earth wanted to say something but he doesn't want to scare Mix because Mix looked like an innocent victim, face all flushed red, puffy eyes and sniff from time to time. He feels guilty to drag him but Mix said the words 'break up'.

Earth was a senior when he met Mix by accident. And he bullied him for weeks till he found out his girlfriend was with another guy.

One day, he and his girlfriend got into a heated argument.

"He's just a friend, " his girlfriend simply said.

"Oh really? Do friends fuck each other?!" He shouted.

"No, but he can give me what I want," She replied to the question.

"But not what you need-"

"Then what about you and that freak?!" she mentioned Mix.

"He's just helping me to get you back," he honestly said.

"Oh really? Well, too late. I'm Off's girlfriend now," She gave him the sassy look.

"You know what? Let's break up," She scoffed as she walked away from him.

Earth stood there dumbfounded, he could feel his eyes sting and eyes pooling. He walked slowly back to his dorm.

He closed the door of his dorm and leaned against it. He slided down and buried his face on his knees as tears streamed out of his eyes. Loud sobs could be heard among the quiet room.

Let's break up...

He cried hard as he kept thinking about it. He felt so lonely. He needed company, but he doesn't want to call his friends because they might do something weird. He doesn't want to call his sister either because she's probably busy.

He get his phone and dialled the number as he sniffed. He hoped the person on the other side of the line will pick it up. And eventually, he did.

"Hello, Mix?"
