9. Making Her Jealous

"Monoma!! Wait up!" The said boy ignored the aggravating voice as he continued walking and looking at his phone. "Monoma I know you can hear me!" She began running as he ignored her once again.

"What?!" He said, stopping in his tracks to look back at her as she finally caught up.

"You're being mean to me right when I have some news and a new plan to tell you about!" She wined.

"Ok, I'm interested." Monoma began walking again, but the two were now side by side.

"I should've just started with that. Anyway, it's been about a week since you guys went on that date right?" Mina giggled as she mentioned the date.

"It wasn't a date!" He answered, turning his face away from the pink-haired girl. However, his bright red ears told everything she needed to know. Another giggle escaped her lips as she continued to speak.

"Yeah, yeah whatever! Anyway, I think (Y/n)'s starting to have a crush on you!" Although Mina was one hundred percent certain that (Y/n) liked Monoma she didn't want to give her away and was hoping for Monoma to confess to the girl first.

"What makes you say that?" He turned back to look at her with confusion written on his face.

"Nothing, but I think we should make her jealous!" His eyes widened in shock.

"Are you trying to ruin my chances with her!?" He whisper-yelled as more people began to appear in the hallway.

"No! I'm just saying a little jealousy never hurt anyone." She whisper-yelled back.

"Who would you even suggest? The round face girl in your class?" He honestly didn't remember any of the girls from his crushes class other than the round-face one that had fought Bakugou and lost.

"No that wouldn't work at all!" She whined, biting the tip of the nail on her thumb.

"Why not? I'm likable!" Monoma became offended at the thought of someone from class A not liking him even though he hated them all.

"That's not the problem! She likes someone else already!" Mina said matter-of-factly.

"Oh"

"Kendo would be a better candidate since you guys are always together." She thought, placing her pointer finger and thumb on her chin.

"What! I don't want to!" He quickly refused.

"Why not? It'll work because she's always keeping you in line!" Mina needed it to be Kendo. She knew (Y/n) wouldn't believe it if it was any other girl than the one he spent most of his time with.

"Because I don't want to see Kendo in that way." He fake gagged as the shorter girl rolled her eyes at him.

"It's not like you'll actually date her! You just need to act as you have been and I'll take care of everything else!" Mina explained.

"Ok, I guess I'll trust you since I won't have to do anything." Monoma was a bit wary about the situation but agreed in the end.

"Good." That was all Mina said as she skipped away from the poor confused blond. She walked around the school for a few minutes, searching for her victim. Since it was currently lunchtime, she realized (Y/n) would be in the development room with Hatsume and ran to Power Loader's workshop. When the girl arrived (Y/n) was already walking out of the room.

"Oh, hey Mina what's up?" (Y/n) waved as she noticed the pinkette walking closer to her.

"Not much. I came to get you so we could walk to class together." (Y/n) smiled as she linked arms with the girl and began walking in the direction of their classroom.

"(Y/n) did you notice how much time Monoma spends with Kendo?" The girl said, making sure to choose her words very carefully.

"What are you talking about? Their friends in the same class of course they spend a lot of time together." (Y/n) had a look of confusion on her face and she stopped walking and looked at Mina.

"I'm just saying that they seem really close. I mean Kendo is always keeping him in line. It's like they have that opposites attract dynamic." Mina explained as she carefully studied her friend's facial expressions.

"Are you trying to say that they're together, or that they look good together?" (Y/n)'s heart felt as though it had stopped as she began to think of the two of them being a couple. They had a lot of differences but that's what makes getting to know someone interesting. Surely it would never happen, right?

"I'm not saying that, but if theirs a chance that Kendo likes him she might confess to him especially if they spend a lot of time together. They're probably in class together right now." Mina smirked as she spoke. (Y/n), being too focused on the idea of her crush dating another girl didn't seem to notice.

"I'm not worried but maybe I should ask him to hang out with me after school? Do you think that'll be a good idea, Mina?" The girl's eyes were wide as she asked her friend, already getting her phone out to text him.

"Yeah, go for it." Mina giggled as she got her phone out as well. (Y/n) nodded and started typing as fast as she could.

"Ok, let's go to class so this school day can end faster." Both of the girls put their phones away and relinked their arms.

Meanwhile, Monoma sat at his desk waiting for class to start when he felt his phone vibrate.

THE LOML:Monoma are you free after school? I wanted to hang out with you in my dorm

The blond's face turned bright red at the bold text and smacked his phone down in disbelief. He knew the girl was quite oblivious, but this was too much for his heart to handle. After a minute he felt his phone vibrate once again, but it wasn't (Y/n) this time. He quickly sent a reply, agreeing to her plans, and looked at his other message.

Class A scum:Told you making her jealous would work ;)

Although he hated the students in class A he was silently thanking (Y/n)'s pink-haired friend.
