Soul

I woke up on the familiar green couch.

"Sans! Look, she's awake!" I heard Paps say.

I saw Sans run over to me jump onto the couch and hug me. I blushed super hard and hugged him back, crying because of what I did.

"I am so sorry Sans."

"Sh, sugarbean. It's ok."

We lay there for a good while. Paps had left to give us some alone time, and so it was very quiet. Me and Sans snuggled each other, happy to be together.

*Love is soft

I sat up.

*You are nothing

It was still there

*You will never get rid of me

Sans looked at me scared

"What's wrong?"

"I can't stay here," I told him, "I don't want to hurt you."

"What do you mean?"

"The HATE isn'g one, Sans."

His eyes went black from fear, and his smile faltered.

"I can't be with you."

His eye sockets teared up.

"No, no please.."

"I can't hurt you, Sans.." I said, crying myself.

"The HATE shouldn't be able to use you, though!"

I sighed. When Chara was inside me, my soul wasn't the strongest, and it broke. Even when the STRENGTH trait came out of hiding, it was still broken. I pulled out my soul and turned it around for Sans to see.

He started crying more. I got up and put my shoes on.

"Please.." He begged, "I can't live without you.."

I said goodbye and forced a smile, tears streaming down my face. I opened the door and ran. I ran back to Iceberg Town, but I didn't stay. This time I kept running down the path. I ran through a huge forest, cryingso hard I could barely see. I ended up running to a small house in the middle of nowhere. No one lived here, and so I moved in. My soul hurt, and I felt it break a bit more.

*Running won't stop our genocide.

*He is going to die.

Please..

*You will kill them all

Stop...

*Sans is weak. He won't fight, and you will kill him

No. No, that is enough.

*You are weak

I will not listen to you.

*You can't stop me

I took a deep breath. I started singing.

A knock on the door startled me.

"Y/n.. Please let me in.."

It was Sans. Could I let him in? I summoned my soul. The cracks were gone. It was gone, and this time, it was for good. But I couldn't let him in.

"No." I said.

I saw Sans go over to the window. Tears streamed down his face, and he looked terrible. I looked back at him and got up. I opeed the door and walked out. He looked at me. I walked up to him and kissed him.
