I step out the rain and into the hotel, closing the door behind me.It only took around three seconds before someone walked up to me and begun questioning, it was just sudden when it wasn't Lightbulb or Fan!"And where have you been? You missed dinner." OJ glared at me, clearly unimpressed about my absence. "I went to TestTube's lab for the day, and I'm not hungry," I scoff, still not being able to walk away from the tension between me and OJ, "If I'm hungry later I'll just eat something from the pantry."OJ sighed, "You could've told me before hand, I don't like people leaving the hotel without me knowing about how long their going."That sounds... a bit possessive. "Oh? And why's that? You never ask TestTube about her staying down and away from the hotel for sometimes weeks!" I raise my voice, taking some of the other objects on this floor's attention. "Because, unlike some people, she actually tells me! And because like, she's a scientist who does crazy stuff that I don't want happening in my hotel!?" OJ yells back at me, only this time he's actually getting angry. Great, I wish I just stayed down the lab or something. I roll my eyes as he continued, not letting me have a chance to speak;"Because who knows the kind of stuff she's doing and capable of!? She's as crazy and weird as some other people in the hotel, only this time is dangerous."And that's when he crossed the line, trash talking TestTube when she can't stand up for herself!? Oh no no... that ain't happening.

"Don't talk about her that way! She's actually really smart and maybe more then you! Don't you dare call her dangerous," I take a step closer to him, without knowing how menacing it would look due to the hight difference in us, but hey, at least it worked;Because he shut up and took a step back away from me. I clenched my fists, "Talk behind her back like that again and I'll show you who's actually dangerous. TestTube will and always be more superior to you, even if she's yeah, a bit nervous and awkward."I push him, and walked away, man that felt kinda good, but I'm gonna promise myself not to lash out like that again for a while. As I walked down the hallway to mine and Fan's room, I heard Lightbulb panting, trying to catch up to me."Paintbrush!" She wheezed, I stopped so she could have a chance to get to me. "What do you want?" I respond blandly, my fists still clenched. "What was that about?" She walked with me, it took me a moment to think of a response, I walked into my room and she came in with me. "Oh just, stuff."Stuff!? Come one Paintbrush, don't block people out now! "Did something... happen between you and TestTube?" Lightbulb asked, I picked up a bit of sadness in her choice of tone. I moved my dairy to the desk, I forgot to mention Fan was in here too, he was on his phone with his back against his pillows, clearly earwigging on the conversation. "Okay, alright? Stop making it sound like something is gonna happen between me and TestTube, like I said, if she or I liked each other we would've, or I would've asked her out already," I lean over the desk, my leg bouncing up and down in anger. "Can't I just be friends with her!? Or is that to much to ask from both of you!" I turn to Fan and Lightbulb.

"Paintbrush I.." Fan went to start, but I carried on talking."And don't make it seem you guys haven't been trying to make me and TestTube closer then what we already are!"I take a deep inhale, stopping my bristles from setting ablaze. The whole room is silent now, but it took a minuet of awkward and what seemed like endless silence before someone spoke up. "That wasn't what I meant, I... meant like if an experiment went out of hand but... that works too." Lightbulb mumbled, saddened, she itched her arm, looking sideways to Fan."My point proven, and I hope you remember what I've said, because I will not be saying it again." And with that, I sat down next to the desk, opened the dairy, and grabbed a pen from the side. Knowing I left my original pen at TestTube's lab, well it's her's now I guess. I heard Lightbulb and Fan talking behind me, they kept quiet for some reason, might be because of how I'm feeling right now or something they don't want me knowing. However, I did hear TestTube's name a lot in their conversation.

I was to focused on what those two were talking about I didn't realise what I was drawing, I sigh, looking down at my dairy and I see... w- what!?My face flushed red in embarrassment, I had drawn TestTube without knowing!?I grumble and scribble it out. When I said, I wanted life to be more interesting, I didn't mean this!I close the book, stand up, and gradually lay myself down in my bed.As I pushed my head into the pillows, looking up at the ceiling, I heard Lightbulb talking to Fan;"Is it okay if I stay with you guys tonight? I don't like sleeping on my own, plus I had a not very nice dream last night." She asked, I heard movement in the room, I didn't look, I didn't even want to move. "Uh, sure if you want, you can sleep at the edge of my bed knowing OJ doesn't like beds moving around rooms and that."The lights then turned off, it wasn't fully dark yet. There was still a faint light outside, plus the rain hitting the windows. The small light was nice, it wasn't that bright, and the rain made a nice ambience.

"Since it's not really the time I go to sleep, we can watch stuff on my phone if you want." Fan whispered to Lightbulb, clearly trying to keep their voices down because they know I was in the room with them, only thing is that they didn't know I was deeply listening to the conversation. I figured, since Fan asked me about how I felt about Lightbulb, I'm gonna listen and see what he meant by that. Either he thinks I like her, or that he likes her.But he can't like her! I swear he has a crush on TestTube.Well... I think now at this point. Because c'mon!? What friends sleep next to each other!?"Mhm! We can watch that new movie that came out recently."Lightbulb whispered to him.And since they didn't have headphones, they turned the volume down low and listened to it out loud. So I kinda just listened until I passed out.

I was walking through the field, I knew this was a dream, one, it was raining, now it's sunny and everything is dry, including the ground. I don't know where this dream was taking me, but I allowed it to do its thing. As I looked around, I came to a sudden stop. Looking towards me I noticed about a field away I saw Fan and TestTube sitting next to each other at the bottom of a tree, holding hands. Why... am I here?

——————————————————Heheheha.We love lore don't we?Stuffs beginning to get more spicy lol. Honestly, writing this is actually more fun then Recurring Dreams, knowing this one ain't got death and all that bad stuff in it. But yeah.
