As soon as the bike halted in front of a Seven-Eleven, I pressed my hands on Jungkook's shoulder and hoisted myself up on the footrest—playing it like some circus act. As a matter of fact, I realised that I enjoyed this position way more than the backpack situation—which was fantastic, too, because then I got to hug his back like it was normal, and my heart wasn't about to pop out of me.

"Why are we here? Do you need snacks?" My eyes darted around, breath fogging up the visor.

Jungkook pulled his head out of the helmet and craned his neck to see me. His mouth twitched, battling something between amusement and mockery. "Not snacks, brat."

He swung his legs over the bike and got off quickly. Locks of his wet hair turned white in the lights. His cold hands spanned my waist through my wet and sticky top. I think I trembled a bit from the contact. I grabbed his arms for balance when he lifted my backpack-self up and then placed me down as if I was nothing. Know what? My weight was in fact, nothing to this man. I had a visual aid of that back when he kissed me. And of course, if your arms had literal veins popping out of them, lifting a girl should be a piece of cake.

"Then what? Are you looking for a notebook to jot down a pros and cons list of me?" I grinned, offering my chin for him to unbuckle the straps of the helmet. He dutifully snapped them off. "Or are we here for adult diapers? Because I'm too young for that mind you." I continued, while he gently pulled the helmet off my head.

"You're going to start needing these if you don't get off the bike properly one of these days." He deadpanned.

"Ahoy matey." I renounced in the thickest accent I could. "You dare make jokes about my bladder? But seriously though, what are we here for?"

A smile hung from his bastard face. I couldn't stop grinning, yes, but I couldn't stop replaying his wild kiss either. Every time I saw his lips I wanted more of that mouth-to-mouth abuse. And this fucker was constantly moistening his lips as if everything else wasn't enough already.

"We're buying stuff." He put the helmet on the bike and turned to me, his voice low. "Come."

I let him hold my hand as we walked into the store. My ears itched from the cold. As soon as we stepped in, the icy air frosted me so badly that I thought my nipples hardened under my bra.

"Fu—uh—ck..." I dug into Jungkook's side and he twisted his arm around me, rubbing my back. "Everything's out to kill me today..." I muttered frustratedly under my breath. "What fucking temperature is this even set on? Have they forgotten that it's raining outside? Bitch ass coordination team."

I felt him chuckling softly at me, leading me away from all the fruity snacks that I thought we would buy. I stared at them longingly as I was being dragged away to the back instead. My shoes made squishing noises from all the water in them and I already hated this situation. I had poured out as much water as I could from them but the wet surface made it icky.

Jungkook had already grabbed a mini basket for himself by then.

"Yo, boyfriend," I snapped my finger at him, "what are we here for?"

His ears burned and he ruffled his hair awkwardly, pulling me up to the hygiene section. My body froze and I craned my neck to him, a hand over my mouth, "Is this—are we going to buy—?"

He moved towards the aisle ahead of me and then twisted his neck to eye me with a smirk, "Don't we need it?" He said and I blushed hard, "Because I think we do."

What?!

"Oh my god," I pushed past him into the actual aisle, my eyes glazing with shock, "I've never been shopping for this stuff with a man before!"

There they were, boxes of it lined and placed so neatly like they barely knew their dirty destiny. I turned to Jungkook who was watching me with a quizzical grin, embarrassed but amused at the same time.

"This is like a section for Pokémon cards but with manly perfume titles!" I laughed.

Jungkook grabbed me behind by the waist, "Shh! You're inviting the entire store to the condom aisle, darling."

"Oh." I clapped my mouth shut and chuckled at him. His mouth was pressed into a shy line.

"Sorry, I just—I don't know how these work! What's this?" I reached for the neon box with silhouettes of a man and a woman in heat. "They have different types?" I looked at Jungkook, surprised.

He bit his distracting lip and nodded. "Different kinds to give you different things." He was awkward but he was trying. He was trying so hard to be patient and I couldn't have wanted to giggle more in that moment. But I didn't. Because this was sex education time. This was my chance to learn about the mysterious condoms. Nobody ever talked about them. I didn't have a fucking clue, even with Jong Suk, because he did the buying so I had to just take whatever he offered. And my stupid brain didn't even think of asking him this stuff.

"What's—what's this one?" I grabbed the closest neon box with the silhouettes of a man and a woman making love on it. "It says classic. Classic? What's this, salted-chip edition?"

He kissed my hair and chuckled, "No. They're the regular ones. No gimmicks. Just smooth."

Oh. I put it back.

"What about ribbed? What's that?" I curiously moved ahead in the aisle and he followed, not rushing me at all. Phenomenal work, Jeon. Because he wouldn't get any sex from me if he made this awkward. I touched a few more, reading the labels out to him. "There's dotted. Extra thin. Strawberry? What the fuck? Is that for girl on girl or what? What are these types?"

He was bent over the other side and adding things to the basket.

I heard him laugh there. Then, he stood up, coming over and standing close enough for me to lap up his body heat. It felt so cosy I could swaddle him around me.

"Ribbed and dotted add extra stimulation. They have actual dotted bumps and ribs on them to make her feel good." He explained.

"Her?" I glanced up.

His eyes met mine, "You."

A warm blush crept up on me and I began fidgeting with the packet, suddenly feeling stupid and shy. "And—and the others?"

"Extra thin feels better for the man." He continued explaining in the calmest voice ever and I wanted to die there. "It feels closer. Although, extra stimulation to the man would ultimately be good for the woman too."

"Oh." I nodded.

Wouldn't this be the perfect choice? I wondered. Extra closer and he would enjoy it too. Oh fuck, someone kill me. This was getting too serious! Just recently, I wanted to kick him in the nuts every time he spoke and now I wanted his dick inside with extra stimulation for him? What the fuck was wrong with me?!

"And the flavoured ones? Is that so people smell like strawberries after sex?" I tried to joke and it did not land. He blinked at me with an eyebrow raised. I waited, then my jaw fell open because what the fuck? "Is it—is it—so that his dick tastes better when someone—" my voice fell, horrified, "—you know. Sucks it..."

"Damn right." He adjusted a tendril of hair behind my burning ear.

"So, which one do you want?" I put it back quickly because I didn't want to imagine myself on my knees yet. It felt too weird.

"We'll take the ribbed and the tingling one," he picked them off the shelf and put them in his basket.

"Why?"

"Because we want to do you good." He was turning red but his bastard audacity was still working his mouth. He smirked. "I want you to feel good."

I stalled there for a second. Something warm filled my chest.

It wasn't about condoms anymore. He...actually thought about me?

Oh fuck this chivalrous man. He was going too hard with this! I wouldn't be able to bear all this care. It was against the fucking law!

I watched him grab lubricants, lotions, oils and wipes. Wipes?!

Oh crap, this man was being so neat with this stuff it was killing me. I quietly followed him on, getting speechless by the second at how observant and careful he was. It's like he had a PhD in this stuff.

And I wasn't trying to compare or be judgmental of sex but I just couldn't help it. My brain was stupid. Somehow, I thought of Jong Suk. Not because I missed him—no, never—I'd never do something like that to myself and Jungkook. It was just this realisation that I had never been taken care of like that. And that made me feel, you know, mistreated in a sense.

He noticed my silence and turned to me with the basket. "What is it?"

"Nothing..." I tapped my toe awkwardly on the marble floor, hands tight around the hem of my sleeves. If Bo Ah saw me, she'd puke. "You're just...being so nice. It's weird. With all those supplies—just, I—I don't know. You're too good at this."

He kissed my eyelashes, making them flutter, "It's you, love. It's all because of you."

"Oh fuck you're smooth! Annie is not okay!" I hit his arm, abashed.

"Of course, she isn't. She's been hit by a smooth criminal." He winked at me and I whammed my fist into his arm. He laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle back at the nonsense.

We picked up a lot of stuff after that. He specifically made sure I had my bathing aids and toiletries. We bought washes, cleansers, soaps—post-dirty aids for my vagina. I told him that it was fine, and I could just use his stuff or soap and water, but he firmly stated that I could choose whatever felt right. He was just keeping enough options available.

So hot. I know.

We also bought underwear for me because we were soaked—damn this fucker for being too prepared. It was like shopping for a trip. In a metaphorical sense, this could be a fucking ride for my vagina. I wasn't complaining at all.

Once all of that was done, we headed to the billing counter. The walk of shame.

I swear that was the most ridiculously awkward and shameful moment of my life. Because I suddenly realised that everyone in the line, including the cashier was about to know that we were about to fuck. I slipped out of Jungkook's arm's crook and hid behind him, only listening to the beeping of the items.

"This is so embarrassing!" I hissed into his shirt, my eyes darting around the place at all the men pretending that they weren't looking. They knew. Everyone knew.

Jungkook turned to me and patted my head, "We're all adults here. It's okay. They've seen millions of people buy this at the store."

"But still!" I groaned, fisting the back of his shirt tightly.

"Let them see." He said, his face was iron stiff as he handed over the items and paid for all of them using his black card. My favourite. Teeheehee.

I didn't even wait for his payment to complete, I dashed before him to the exit. It was too embarrassing.

He calmly followed.

"Do you want me to pay for half of it?" I asked as we walked towards his parked bike. "Or rather—may I pay for half of it, my lord?"

"My lord?" His brows quirked. He placed the bag of supplies in his bike's compartment. "It's as you say. My lady doesn't pay the bills. Her lord spoils her."

"Aww." I squinted sarcastically. "But almost everything in that bag is for me! I know you've got your black card and stuff but this looks unfair to me since we've only started dating. I don't want to be hogging money from someone's son."

My words halted him from wearing the helmet. He put it back on the bike and frowned at me, "Hogging?" He stepped closer, looming over me as if I had just killed his entire bloodline or something. "Don't ever call it that. I spend on you. Get used to it."

"Heh. You think it's easy but you're going to start expecting things from me because of this." I rolled my eyes, my mouth running faster than the rainwater rolling off his body and dotting on me. I realised I said too much when he stilled, eyes locked on me for longer than what would be considered safe.

Shit. Good heavens, Haerin. My grin wobbled, "Yay, I've just rendered the condoms useless, haven't I?"

He tilted his head, examining my face as if I were the clown he was seeing the show for. "Expect things? Yeah, I expect you to shut up and let me take care of you. That's it. You don't pay when you're with me. Not now. Not ever."

Before I could untwist my tongue, he bent lower and dropped a warm kiss on my freezing cheek. I blinked, jaw dropped.

My chest squeezed. Fuck. I had been ready for him to snap. He melted me with just one line and a kiss. No fair.

"You're being too smooth. It's suspicious." I weakly hit his chest but he caught my wrist, forcing me to lace our fingers and then pressing them back against my thigh.

It was weird. Really weird, whatever was going on between us.

He wound his legs around the bike, offering me my helmet, "Good. Stay suspicious."

"Oh?" I fixed it over my head and sat behind him. I wrapped my arms around his torso.

His hands gripped my thighs and squeezed them once before gripping the handles. "Then, this lord had better make it worth my ladyship."

He revved his bike glancing back at me with a dangerous smirk, "Oh, I will."

And with that, we tore off into the wind. The rain had come to a light drizzle now. It was already dark. My mom wasn't bothered about where I was, as long as I was making a future with a boyfriend. So I was safe in that department but Bo Ah could call me anytime to check up on my overtime, which had not proceeded that well.

I think I got a bit jealous when we finally reached his place. He lived in a high-rise apartment building in the centre of the city. Of course, being a director at Neureva, I wouldn't expect anything less from him. He had the additional privilege of being a man, too.

He parked his bike in the parking lot, carrying all the bags of our 'supplies', heading to the lobby for the elevator.

"Do you live alone?" I enquired, watching the floor numbers somewhere on the fourteenth.

Ka-ching!

There my mind went.

"Do you think I'd bring you home to ruin you while my parents serve dinner?" He smirked at me.

"Shut up." I elbowed his side.

"Yes, I live alone." He said, "I bought his condo from my father five years ago."

My neck whipped towards him at the same time that the elevator doors opened. I followed him inside. He pressed eleven and my head swung a bit.

"Bought from your father..." I mused out loud, remembering the entire abusive situation that his father had with his mother. It was better not to ask more, considering how serious it was for him. I didn't want to be thrown off the eleventh floor on the first day.

I don't know why but I was kind of freaking out now. I was about to go to his house, get fucked by him—if all went well and I didn't do something stupid. This was ridiculous. I was so passionate back at Neureva and now I had the skin of a mouse who wanted to run.

I tried to square my shoulders.

Box breathe, Haerin. Box breathe.

We don't want to waste all the ribbed and dotted ones just because you chickened out last minute.

The elevator pinged on arrival and instead of seeing a smooth path ahead, a man in joggers and earplugs stood there.

He was already hopping, warming up apparently.

"Yo," he said as soon as he saw Jungkook. "Bossman. Running late from work huh?"

I couldn't help but wonder if he was well-regarded in the building by his neighbours. I wondered if there were any women here who liked him.

Jungkook smiled, unafraid of death as he calmly carried the bag in his hand outside. I followed him.

Somebody kill me.

This man wasn't afraid of showing off anything from the Seven-Eleven bag. It had my underwear there, too, for goodness' sake, Jeon!

The man in the joggers turned to me, doing a double-take making it clear that this was a unique sight, "And the drenched lady?"

"A friend," Jungkook said, urging me to follow him.

"Oh, hello." The jogger-man said and then passed a short salute to Jungkook before getting into the elevator.

He didn't even wait for the chance to let me say hello. But that wasn't the point anymore. As soon as he was gone, I turned to Jungkook, keeping up with him, my foot ready to launch into his back if he answered wrong.

"A friend?" I hissed. "What am I? Your wet cousin?!"

He tried to hold his laugh back but he couldn't.

"You making me look like something with benefits now?" I seethed.

"Would you rather have me tell him I'm getting my girlfriend over to fuck her all night?" He passed me a smirk, stopping by a door and using his keycard to unlock it. My eyes caught his name etched on the nameplate next to the house number. 1104.

My face screamed red, "You don't have to use those words! You could have just said I'm your girlfriend. You know what? I'm going to call you a friend in front of my acquaintances too."

He opened the door, letting me in first and then following after, gently closing the door behind.

I immediately began taking my shoes off, stomping on them and still taking the time to look at his apartment. It was too clean for my good health.

His apartment...I gulped at the realisation.

Jungkook picked up my shoes and put them aside with his own.

"Don't be mad, darling." He cooed behind me, and I shuddered a bit because he had never used this voice before. Not with me. "I didn't mean it like that. It's the first time these people are seeing you here. I'll let everyone know you're my girlfriend, okay?"

What was with this weird soft tone?

I turned to him, frowning. He helped me with my handbag and placed all of the things on the glass table in the living room.

"Okay, I'm not getting mad." I raised my paws to silence him. "But you better not make me—"

Before I had the chance to defend my cause, his teeth landed on my neck and he sucked my skin until I moaned like a cat mewling.

He pulled back, "Sorry." He said, fixing my hair.

My knees buckled and I landed on the floor. He gasped and tried to hold me up by the arms but I swatted him away, annoyed that he did it so suddenly. I wasn't even fucking ready!

"Oh my god, I'm dizzy!" I clenched my hair, trying to see correctly. "My vision has been compromised!"

He chuckled, "Hold up, my lady. We're going to do a lot more."

He said that and I wanted to die.
