Chapter 15

                           -Daylight- (This will be short filler chapter for the long one coming soon, sorry!)

The whole time through all the press and stuff was dreadful. As soon as they said we could go, you bet I raced out of there as fast as I could. Is there any way I'm gonna have another lowly father-daughter talk? I'm going to have to get a rain check on that one.

Fast-forward to now. Me, Marie and the rest of our classmates are sitting through the 'we must all remember our hero principle and all the good he did' Which is a bunch of bull. Throughout the class, I couldn't help but feel the burning gaze of someone sitting behind me as I turned my head slightly to the left.

Whose gaze do I meet? Oh! So glad you asked, only Jordan Li. The person whom I have the biggest crush on. Which let me remind you we haven't spoken since well you know- The whole 'I don't need your help, Stella!' And well I think you remember the rest.

Without warning, our eye contact was cut short by the loud ringing of the bell signalling it was time to go. So I grabbed my bag from the floor below me and practically ran out of the class not wanting to even be in the same room as Jordan. Like- can you imagine how awkward that would be?

As I'm trying my hardest to get out of there, Marie comes up beside me saying we should walk together which is fine as long as she picks up the pace because- well you already know. Just as we make our way out the main doors, we are stopped by a voice booming. You got to be kidding me-

"You didnt do shit."

I hear the all too familiar voice say. Honestly don't know how to feel about that one. Because wasn't I the one that kissed them while we were fighting luke and shit- "Well you know wha-" My words are cut off my Jordan speaking again.  "The only people that did anything about Luke was me and Stella. And you know that." Jordan says with anger lacing their voice.

"We fought Luke to protect you and now the only person who is rightfully getting the credit is Stella. But you, you shouldn't even deserve the place on the rankings because you stood there doing nothing."

While I change my gaze from Marie to Jordan in their whole conversation. The one thing I'm picking up is that, every time Jordan says my name or anything to do with me. They won't even look at me. Like- this may sound selfish but it's like thanks for protecting my name or whatever but you can't even look my way after everything. Something ain't clicking here.

The whole conversation of theirs that I just stood there for,finished in a blank. Before I knew it Marie was storming off the other way while I look to see wow- look at that.

Jordan actually looking at me and acknowledging me. Yay. 

Just as I was about to take off to storming Marie. My body stills, as I hear Jordan speak up again. "Stella-" I stop in my tracks to now face Jordan with some sort of a troubled look on their face.

"I'm sorry for how I treated you, for the ay I spoke to you. And um everything. You were trying to help me and all I did was push you away and I'm really sorry sunshine. For everything."

I scan Jordan's face for any sort of lie within what they just said but I couldn't see anything. It was true. Now the big part is do I forgive them right now.

"I mean you were a massive dick-" I let out a small chuckle.

Jordan repeats my laugh in a more nervous tone. "So you forgive me sunshine?" Jordan says with hope glistening in their eyes. "Yeah you're forgiven." I say with a small smile gaining on my lips. I glance at the path that Marie took, she's long gone. But I'll find her soon. After-all we have to start getting ready for the interview. Which I'm going to have to let lout a few prayers for.

"Jordan, um I have to go." I watch to see their smile flatten.

"But do you think we can continue this conversation later um maybe in our dorm room. Because I have to start getting ready for the Haley interview thing with Marie.

"I'll meet you in there tonight sunshine." Without thinking my body takes over and embraces Jordan's frame in a hug. God, what am I doing. Before I let go my mouth closely goes to their ear to a soft whisper.

"I'm sorry for your loss too." I say before letting go,giving one last smile before heading to my room to get ready for the interview.

Well this will be fun.
