CHAPTER 36 : UNDER THE MOON

Jennie's POV

I twist the door knob and opened the door once i heard the soft knock at the main door of my unit.

I smiled once he was the one right in front of me.

Whenever i saw him.. enough for my heart skipped a beat... Called im crazy? Yeah i dont care.

"Why you have to knock if you already knew my passcode?"

"cause i wanna you open the door for me.." He winked.

"So are you ready?" He smiled back at me.

I nodded..

"Lets go." Instead of he offered his hand like before..he took my hand and intertwined with his hand this time.

Well maybe i would not accept his hand like before.

Calling me savage?

Yeah i'm pretty and savage..

We walk hand in hand approaching his motorbike.

He lend me the helmet.. and i took it from him..

Once he done wearing his helmet.. he looked at me..

Well i'm struggling to fasten the helmet..

He bend his knee to meet me level and take a look at my helmet instead..

Well thats what his eyes stare..

Meanwhile me.. busy staring his handsome figure..

I cant help it..

Our face closed each other.. his scent lingering on my nose..his cold hand brush on skin sending the shiver through my spine..

"Done.." he smiled.

"Uh?..hmmm.. thanks.." i awkwardly smiled.

"Are you okay? Your face red."

Damn it.

"Why not you just stay at home?"

"Noo. Take me with you. Lets go." I sternly said.

Once he started the engine.. he take both of my hand and lead to his waist which make me flinched a bit.

"Hold me tight if you still love me." He chuckled.

I just maintaining my hold to his waist.. and lean my head to his back.. hearing his heartbeat which make me calm a bit even tho he ride super fast.

"Where will we going?" I have to yell cause wearing helmet had give me limit to talk slow.

instead of answering me.. he slow down his bike and stopped the bike as he getting near the grave.

Wait.. grave?

"We reached already."

i put my hands on his shoulder as support for me to get off from the bike..still examining the surroundings. Gosh its scary.

He helped me to take off my helmet and he did the same on him.

he take my hand and drag me but i stopped him...eyes still scanning the surroundings.

"Why?" He asked.

"Its scary.. ghost must be right here..right?"

He just chuckled. "No worries. I'm here right? Now lets go." He drag my hand.

I used my free hand to clutch on his shirt.

we walked to the cemetery..

i clutch more on his shirt.. i think i wanna cry.

"Hey.. dont be afraid. I'm Here." He squeeze my hand.

we stopped once we reached the headstone that written that name.

he slowly let go of me..

he kneeling down in front of that headstone..

meanwhile.. i just stood still.. the fear is fade away when he said..

"Mom, thank you for being so patient with me as I try to figure out exactly how clueless I was. Thank you for your forgiveness, as well as your gentle and calm nature. I'm sorry for the mistakes that I done. I should not let you go for fight." He paused at the moment. He lowered his head. Its dark right there. The only thing that caught my attention is.. hearing his sob.. even tho imma boss bitch.. i have that empathy when someone cried especially someone that i love.

I dont know what supposed i do.. i kneeling down beside him.. rubbing his back.. he looked at me.. his eyes.. full of sadness.. sorrow.. so this is how someone's look when they lose their precious one. I offered him a smile. He took my hand..he kissed my hand.. "Let it out babee.. i'm here.. i will stay here to accompany you." I whispered at him. I hope thats could assure him.He looked back at that stone..He wiped his tears before continue again. "You are strong woman, mom. I'm proud of you. You are stronger than me. You willing to sacrifice of yourself for the sake of others. I never forget you mom.. but.. i think i should stop do the ring thing, mom. but.. trust me.. i wont stop loving you, mom.. happy birthday mom."

"One more thing mom.." he took my hand again and intertwined with his hand.

"I think this gonna be the best present that i could give you for your birthday, mom." He smiled. Seeing his smile .. it feel relieved again.

"I would like to introduce you the girl of my life.. Jennie Kim. It will be much better if you here right mom?" He chuckled while shaking his head.

I rubbed his back..

"Mom.. i love your son.. with all of my heart.. thanks for make him exist on this world, mom. Thanks for give birth to him.. the man that love me like i do." I found myself tearing up as well. I cant help it.

He looked at me.. he wiped my tears with his thumb.

He pull me up to stand up..

"Pray for us, mom.." he said.

Author's POV

Seeing the cat eyes shaped girl rubbing her arm..

He dont hesitate to take off his leather jacket and put it around her body..

"Hey you will freeze babee.. you just on your short sleeve shirt."

"Its okay baby.. thats my role to make sure you have thicker cloth to prevent you from freeze. Your role is..." he took her hand and lead her hand to his wait.

"Pull me closer to you to make me warm." He chuckled.

"Ahh.. i see. Mr shrek always have this kind of trick to touch me huh."

"Well i know. Mrs Shrek lovin' it right? Dont deny it." He smirked.

Earn smack on his chest."Mrs Shrek lovin' do that." This time Jennie was the one who smirk.

"I am glad, babee.." she broke the silent.

"Why?" The man chuckled .. took glance at the girl beside him.. the shining of the moon make her look more beautiful .. thats what he thought.

"Cause you quit from fighting." She said with smiling plastered on her face.

"You know why i did that?"

She shake his head cutely.

He found that she's too adorable.

"Cause i love you. I dont want you to get hurt. Seeing you cry and worried because of me.. totally broke me inside. So i quit that thing." He smiled. He plant soft kiss on her cheek.

"Thanks babee.. for quit that thing.. and.."

"And?"

"Introduce me to your mom.." she giggled cutely and lay her head on his shoulder.

The sounds of her giggle is the best melody for his ears.

"Well you are a part of my family.. soon to be.." he said as he caressed her hair..

She lift her head from his shoulder...

They stare at each other..

Mesmerizing each other face.. under the moon.. is the best moment for them..just they alone under the moon..

He took glance at her lips..

Her red lips..

Then he looked back at her eyes... just as signal that 'is it okay?'..

Cupping her cheek.. he lean closer to her face..
