Chapter 24
21:43, 17 February 2023"Hello everybody and welcome to the general department at UA. I am your teacher.. "
Why was she doing this again? Oh yeah, to get her life back and make sure Tenko didn't turn into a villain.
Still..
Going back to high school, a high school filled with superpower teenagers. A part of her felt scared and another felt like pulling her hair in frustration.
She twirled a strand of blonde hair. Blonde huh.. she sighed trying to catch any of the words coming out of the teacher's mouth.
Nope, no can do.
Obviously she couldn't join the hero department, mainly because she missed the test timing, but now she needed to sneak with class 1A to the USJ somehow. Easy peasy.
She kept twirling the blonde hair looking forward before a smile came and her fist hit her palm, "I can just get on the bus going there with invisibility."
"Excuse me?"
And that was her teacher and everybody looking at her.
"I meant nothing! Nothing at all hahaha.." her sentence ended with an awkward laugh that drifted into silence before she caught a snort from behind her.
"Hmm I see. You are..?" The teacher looked in the list of attendance with that look that said he was noting her down in the list of potential trouble-makers.
Joy! Not so different from my old high school experience!
"Nishimura Kira!" She said smiling innocently. Now that she had introduced herself out-loud for the first time, she realized how stupid it was to use a name this similar to hers..
"Nishimura-san. Please focus in class. It's still the first day." Yup, he's labeled me as a troublemaker.
She nodded smile still painted. When he turned, her face relaxed.
Hours went by horribly slow. By the time it was lunchtime, Keira had counted how many students in class and how many desks and how many chairs there were along with how many strands of hair she could see at the head of the girl in front of her.
Her eye twitched in irritation before she stood up going outside. She looked at the tall classroom door she passed – very huge - before speed walking away to the grand hall. There was no need to talk with anybody. She had to stay focused.
"Mmmmmm!!" she stuffed another piece of the tonkatsu. "How ish thish sho yummy?!" She grinned at the taste. Wait what was she doing again—oh yeah!
She scanned the hall while eating. It took a minute before she spotted them. A hedgehog and a broccoli.
The main characters, Midoriya Izuku and Bakugo Katsuki.
She paused realization setting in as she just watched them. They weren't sitting together. In fact, they were pretty far from each other. But still. Everytime she saw a piece of the main places and characters in the anime, she just stared.
They're real... Just like Tenko and All might.
Her eyes drifted away to the food. She shook her head once before continuing to eat.

The rest of the day went on. English class was the easiest since she had a clear advantage. Even though most of the students here are pretty high-level in their studies.. that's an elite high school for you.
The bell rang finally marking the last class for today. Keira's head dropped with a sigh.
"This was exhausting." She muttered. Their teacher picked up his things before heading out, to which she immediately ran after him.
"Sensei." He turned towards her.
"Yes?"
"I know it's only the first day, but.." she looked up determined like a typical main character would do, "I want to transfer to the hero course please!"
He blinked before a look on his face that said he heard this before came. He took a deep breath, "Listen.."
"Nishimura Kira!"
"Yes, Nishimura-san. Did you apply to the hero course exam?"
"No, I missed it."
"I see. Well, you will have a chance during the sports festival. If you prove yourself, you can get an offer for transferring to the hero course."
"oh.. So, I have to win it?"
He chuckled, "Well not necessarily but try for it." Why does that feel like he's patronizing me? "What's your qui—"
"Okay thanks sensei." Keira ran off before she heard the last question. She was gonna have to win it. Or drop out of school if she finds that Tenko is all good.
Yes, she paused in the middle of the hallway clasping her hands together with shut eyes, please be okay Tenko. Please don't be a villain. Pleaseeee.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!
A pillow hit the alarm clock as the black-haired woman tried to catch a few more moments of sleep. She groggily got up before stumbling to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth, her real face staring at her in the mirror. Long black messy hair sticking out in weird angles, grey eyes that had bags because she slept late, and features of a grown adult woman. Definitely not a high school look. I can see my resemblance with Aizawa. She spit out the toothpaste, "Just need the sleeping bag."
A huge yawn escaped her. She went out, her appearance changed to Nishimura Kira, and got dressed. It was the second day and yet it felt very tiring. Also, she felt relieved when she went back to her appearance but strangely exhausted. She paused her hand halfway buttoning,
Did her quirk have limits?
Until now she hadn't hit any but she also hadn't used it continuously like this. The doctor's words echoed in her head.
Her quirk wasn't stable. Whatever that bastard done, it had messed her up somehow.
She sighed going to the kitchen with her back and pressing the coffee machine button. Black coffee like my heart..
"At least the quirk is still fine." Otherwise, the official papers for Nishimura Kira would have been impossible.
For now everything was going well. She would soon find out that Tenko just became a normal kid and.. and for some reason.. he didn't visit her with All might.
"Yeah.. Everything will be okay. He's probably an amazing student who still likes heroes and living on! Yeah.. definitely." She nodded determined. After she finds him, she will be reassured and will go home.
Yeah. Everything will be great.

Everything was not great.
She yelped as another panicked student bumped into her running towards the exit. The alarm was blaring and announcing of a breach which could only mean one thing.
She started running towards the teachers' offices. He should be there! But that would mean.. that would mean..
She shook her head quickly going up the stairs. The hero department was past that corridor. She pushed her legs faster. Was he there? Did he become a villain? Part of her hoped to see him. Part of her wished she wouldn't.
She skidded to a halt, the sound of her breathing very loud in her ears. Her breath grew shakier. The door in front of her was the hero course teachers' room. If she saw Tenko, If she.. If she..
Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.
She gripped the door tight trying to calm her erratic breathing. She pushed it open, her eyes shutting by themselves for a second before she quickly opened them. Nothing was wrong. For a second her loud breath was the only sound, the alarm being background, but then her eyes caught it. The stack of papers thrown on the ground. She took a few steps hesitantly.
"Th-that's not proof." She mumbled half-heartedly. She leaned down, one of the papers catching her eye.
Class Schedules
The stack was printed class schedules and one was missing. Hero class 1-A schedule wasn't there.
Everything was not fine - the paper fell from her hand - not fine at all.
