| THE NIGHT HAD fallen and the darkness had dominated the path you walked on, accompanied by the dim street lights that ignited the dark, deserted place as you headed towards the Toman hideout.

Today Mikey would give clear introductions to everyone regarding the declaration of war from Valhalla's side which was going to be held the next day.

Your dull eyes suddenly lit up when they spotted Takemichi walking quite a several steps ahead of you, so you decided to approach him with unintentionally silent steps.

"Baji-kun wouldn't listen to me.." he muttered with a sigh. You ears perked up in curiosity at the said words.

You were aware that eavesdropping was wrong but you told yourself that humans weren't perfect and had flaws and the first step to make yourself better was to accept those flaws.

With that you slowed down but stayed in a perfect range to hear everything. You felt guilty but brushed it off and payed attention to what he said next.

"Whatever happens, I won't let Baji-kun die, I must save him from Kazutora-kun or Mikey-kun would go berserk."

Huh? What's that suppose to mean? How's he so sure that something bad will happen to Baji?

"I have to save Hina and eliminate Kisaki..."

Hina? Kisaki??

"Uh.. Takemichi?"

At you voice Takemichi jumped on his spot and screamed in a high pitched voice. "AAAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAHHHH!!" you joined him thinking something was wrong as you inspected your surroundings frantically.

"What the heck!" you placed your hand over your raging heart and tried to calm yourself down by taken deep breaths.

"Y-Y/N-Chan?" he stared at you with pale face.

"You scared me!" you squeak, walking over to him as you two proceeded to walk.

"Y-you scared me first," he replied, catching his breath. "Were you following me?"

Your mind went blank at the question as you blinked several times and answered, "Uh.. No.."

His eyes narrowed suspiciously at you. "So you were."

"Kind of?" you scratched the back of your head with a sheepish smile.

"So that means you heard whatever I said...?" he questioned, raising his eyebrow.

"Since there's no use of lying and I want answers now.. Yes." You admitted.

He exhaled, staring at his feet. "Go ahead. There's no use of hiding it from you now."

You lifted up your head and gazed at the stars, "Umm.. About earlier. What did you mean by 'I won't let Baji-kun die' and about that Kazutora thing. Also where did Hina-Chan Chan come from and that what did Kisaki do?" you did not hold back. You were suspicious of Takemichi from the start and thought that he was odd. Maybe this would answer you why.

He pursed his lips and stayed silent for a while as he battled with himself from the inside. After slight hesitation he questioned, "Can I trust you?"

Your eyebrow arched at his question but you answered nevertheless. "I'm good at keeping secrets."

He nodded. "Okay."

Then he prepared himself. Shutting his eyes tightly, he said, "I'm a time leaper."

"Huh?"

He opened his blue eyes and stared at you with a grave expression on his face. "I'm from the future and a time leaper."

"Oh.." really Y/N???

"Uh.. Do you believe me? I mean, don't if you don't want to, it's totally alright because—"

You cut him off. "I do."

"Huh?"

Your eyes darted towards his face as you two reached your destination. Intentionally, you lowered your voice. "As bizarre and weird it sounds.. I believe you and... It actually makes sense."

Because you're strange.

A huge sigh of relief escaped his lips as he shot you a smile. "Thankyou."

"Don't mention." you waved it off.

"And um.. Sorry for pressing it further but... about Baji.." you fiddled cat necklace, nervously which dangled from your neck.

"Baji-kun is... going to die in Valhalla versus Toman, Tomorrow.. By the hands of his friend ; Kazutora Hanemiya." he stared at the floor with a downcasted look on his face.

"W-what?"

Baji dying? If hearing it could make it difficult for you to breathe then how would you ever live with it if it actually happens?

"How , why?!" You demand with wide eyes staring at him.

"Kisaki. It's all his fault that Baji-kun left Toman." Takemichi said with a frown. "He is manipulating everyone, possibly Kazutora-kun too."

"Can we not do anything to stop it from happening?" you desperately hoped that there was some way.

He nodded. "Yes, If we keep an eye out for him and protect him."

"Oh, Alright." you felt a little bit better hearing that you could do something about it.

The two of you entered the Toman hideout silently and joined the loud crowd, standing beside Chifuyu.

"Where were you two?" The blonde questioned. "Mikey-kun and Draken-kun are already here."

"Caught up with a few things." you replied simply, while Takemichi spoke nothing as he appeared out to be in a deep thought.

Toman presidents stepped forward, ready to address the crowd causing the chatter among the Toman members to die down.

"The pre-battle meeting for our fight against Valhalla will now begin!" announced the vice president of Toman, Draken.

"I'm glad to see you all here today!" began Manjiro Sano. "Tomorrow we're going head-to-head with Valhalla!"

"They picked a fight with us. There's nothing for us to gain!" he fell silent for a second before he continued with a gloomy face, "Also.. Baji has sided with our enemy!"

You turned your gaze to Takemichi and Chifuyu who looked just as stressed as you.

"We don't go easy on traitors! That's Toman's policy!!" he declared, loud and clear. You chewed the inside of your cheek at that. This just keeps getting worse.

"There's no stopping this now.. Takemichi.. Y/N." Chifuyu stared sadly at the floor beneath him as you held back the tears of frustration.

"....Can I..just be a kid?"

Your eyes snapped towards Mikey's face who sat down on the stairs as the entire Toman, including you stared at him, perplexed.

" I don't wanna fight Baji." he said with a small smile on his face.

A soft chuckle escaped your lips which held a hint of relief, meanwhile your companions looked shocked.

He stood up abruptly and announced in a loud voice. "SO HERE'S MY SOLUTION!! LEND ME YOUR STRENGTH EVERYONE!!"

"TOMORROW WE'RE GOING TO CRUSH VALHALLA AND TAKE BAJI BACK!!!"

Your face broke into a grin at his words as a drop of tear threatened to fall. Yesss!!

"That's how we fight our battles!!" everyone pumped up their fists in the air, hyped at the announcement.

You formed your fingers in fists and jumped, throwing your hands up in the air with the widest grin on your face

Chifuyu and Takemichi joined you as you three held each other's hands. "We will take Baji back!!"

"We will!" the two blondes exclaimed in unison with hopeful smiles. You gave their hands a slight squeeze.

Wait for us, Baji.
