XV (2/2) ~ Drunk

    Zeldris ran down the stairs to see Estarossa standing on table, Meliodas slung over his back, happily yelling nonsense. Zeldris looked up at Mel to see the poor man looking humiliated. He had the face of someone who was rethinking all his life choices before his end.

    Zeldris looked around him at the very much confused sins. He chuckled and came forward. The sins' eyes all went to him as he faced the middle brother.

    "Esta, let Mel go!" Zeldris ordered. Estarossa looked at him for a second before lifting Meliodas higher. "Esta,  just sit Mel down." Then Estarossa tossed Meliodas to Zeldris in a movement so fast neither of them were able to react. The two tumbled into the wall, Meliodas managing to somehow wiggle behind Zeldris to keep him from getting the impact.

    Zeldris rubbed his head groggily as he shifted slightly. Meliodas was holding his head in his hand in a protective manner. "You alright Zel?" Meliodas grunted.

    "Yeah," Zeldris replied. He stood up and cracked his back. Meliodas got up and did the same thing.

    "Thanks for the rescue," Meliodas teased. Zeldris laughed breathlessly. "Aren't you a little-" They both paused when Estarossa started singing some random song. Everyone in the room gaped in shock. "Okay this man needs to get sober. Like now." Zeldris agreed.

    "I got an idea," Zel muttered. Meliodas looked at him. Zeldris then whispered it into Meliodas' ear. He nodded and hopped onto the table.

    "Hey,  lol bro if you calm down I'll take you out to train by the lake again," Meliodas coaxed. His demon slowly formed on his forehead and he met Estarossa's eyes with his own black ones. They were dark but showed compassion. Esta grinned like a child and sat on the floor. Meliodas stroked his hair until he fell asleep, his head hitting his chest. Meliodas' darkness lifted him off the ground. "I'm gonna take him upstairs. Zel come with me." The three went upstairs and curled up on the bed.
