CHAPTER 41

Magnus hugged Alec tightly and kissed him on the cheek.

When Magnus pulled back Alec grabbed him from the collar and smashed their lips together. Alec adjusted his position to get on top of Magnus and pushed him back so that Magnus was laying on his back. Not breaking the kiss Alec slowly unbuttoned Magnus’s shirt and touched his delicate abs. 

Alec worked his way down the neck to the collarbone leaving little red marks making Magnus moan. “You like it baby?”

“Love it” Magnus replied.

Alec smiled and continued his way down to the chest and to Magnus’s delicate abs. Magnus pulled Alec back up not letting him go further and smashed their lips together. “Not here” he said through the kiss. “We need to shower first”

Alec laughed slightly and bit Magnus’s lip. “Let’s go” he said and lifted Magnus up and walked into the shower.

 Few weeks passed and it was almost the end of April. Magnus’s birthday was coming up and Alec was busy with planning.

“Alec I got the balloons…” Simon said putting a huge box on the table.

“What is this?” Alec asked peeking inside.

“The bulbs, the balloons and the candles you asked for…oh and Izzy will be here in a few minutes she said that she’s going to bring the cake”

“Thank you Si…”

“Alec!!! Where are the scissors?” Raphael shouted from the other side of the living room.

“In the drawer next to you” Alec replied.

And then they heard the doorbell ring. “Is that Magnus?” Simon asked

“No can’t be…Hayley said that he’s having a meeting till 6”

Alec walked to the door and opened it. 

“Jace?” Alec said in surprise and hugged him.

“Hey man…” Jace hugged him back and walked in “Woah! What’s going on in here?” he asked with a smirk.

“It’s Magnus’s birthday and since we didn’t have an engagement party, I thought that we should celebrate a little…”

“A little? You call this a little?” Jace said walking in and looking around “Look at all the decos! Woah is this actually our house?”

“Stop being such a weirdo Jace…I remember how you decorated that apartment when you asked out Clary”

Jace just laughed and patted Alec’s shoulder. “What can I do to help?”

Alec smirked “First tell me…are you on holiday? Where’s Clary?”

“I just wanted to see how you were doing after all the Robert drama…so I took 3 days off to come and see you…”

“I’m fine Jace…you don’t have to worry about me…”

“I know…but still I wanted to make sure…”

Alec smiled and hugged Jace and Jace hugged him back.

“Mags will be here in about half an hour…”

“Big bro…” Izzy said opening the door “brought the cake…everything ready?”

“Yes! Everything is ready and now that the cake is here…Mags is the only one missing…” Alec said taking the cake and placing it on the table.

It was almost 7 and everyone was waiting for Magnus to arrive. Finally, they heard the door being unlocked. The house was dark and there was a candle lit path made from the door to the living room.

As soon as Magnus opened the door, he gasped in surprise. “Wow”

He looked around but it was really dark, so he walked along the candle lit path and reached the living room. 

Suddenly the lights lit up and everyone shouted “Surprise!!”

Alec was standing in the middle with the cake in his hands and Magnus walked to him and gave a peck on his lips. “Thank you baby”

Alec smiled and took Magnus by the hand and walked him to the candle lit table to cut the cake.
