THIRTY-THREE (ISELEN POV)

01:40, 27 March 2023

"You're so incredibly beautiful," I hear Terra whispering and I can't help nodding quietly because I agree with her.

Our human is stunningly pretty and after a good day of rest and a delicious breakfast in bed, she's regained strength, the dark circles under her eyes have vanished and she's woken up in a playful mood, smirking mischievously. Her skin shines like pearls under the soft light while she kneels down on the mattress, straddling the wolf's hips, fluttering her pelvis over the pink-colored vibrator they keep between their pussies. Both women hold back their breaths and shudder, Ruby tilts her head back exposing her graceful neck and I can feel my extended fangs against my lower lip when I see the pulse beating under her shaky flesh. Terra grabs the sheets with her clenched fists and tries to remain still, lying on the bed, while Ruby's bucking on the toy.

Actually, both women are gorgeous. Their soft tattooed skin makes my mouth water, Ruby's perky breasts shake every time she flutters her hips and the werewolf bites her lip while fixing her bright blue eyes on the pink nipples. It's becoming increasingly difficult for me to stay here, standing and looking at them, it's a wonderful show but I need to touch them. I decide to kneel down behind the human, straddling Terra's thighs, putting my arms around Ruby's torso to be able to cup her breasts with my hands under the watchful eyes of the wolf. I have a perfect view of Terra's body from here and I can see her skin getting goose bumps when the human presses the toy against her pussy.

"Fuck, Iselen!" A moan escapes through Ruby's gritted teeth when I pinch her nipples gently.

Her pelvis bucks even faster and the werewolf's muscles get tense under our legs, I can smell their essences mixed with their perfumes and Ruby's blood that runs through her veins very close to my mouth... they're driving me crazy. The human seems to notice it and tilts her head back, leaning it on my shoulder, and offering me her jugular vein. I stick my tongue out and lick her soft skin, so sweet, while she flutters her hips faster, the sound of her wet pussy grinding against the vibrator makes me smile.

Terra fixes her eyes on my face when I open my mouth and show my sharp fangs, her muscles get even more tense and I can feel that both women are on the edge, I smirk mischievously looking right into her eyes, gorgeous blue eyes like the summer sky over the forest, while biting Ruby's delicious skin. The human remains still for a split second before crying, convulsing because of the powerful orgasm rippling through her body, I can feel the muscles of her belly clenching rhythmically under my hands every time I suck and swallow. Terra lets out a long moan and her hips flutter against the toy, trapped under Ruby's thighs and my legs, writhing on the mattress while cumming hard.

Finally, the human collapses in my arms, whining, while Terra moves the vibrator away from their pussies, breathing heavily. I lick her neck to make sure her wounds are healed and push her carefully so she falls on top of the werewolf's body while I lick my lips enjoying the sweet taste of the blood and the amazing rush of energy it's giving me, so rich that makes me feel more powerful immediately. When I open my eyes again, both women remain still in the same position: Ruby lying on Terra's torso while the wolf puts her tattooed arms around her waist.

"Are you going to fall asleep again?" I ask amused, getting up, and they both heave a sigh while getting comfortable on the mattress.

"I don't know, the orgasm was amazing and it's drained all the energy in my muscles," the werewolf admits smiling. Ruby doesn't even answer, she only lets out a groan and nuzzles Terra's neck trying to hide her face from the lamp light.

"Okay, you can stay in bed longer today while I go downstairs to talk to Maeve and Raven," I answer grabbing my underwear, some jeans and a light sweater. Ruby's blood is running wild through my veins right now I need to move, I can't stay here lying on my bed doing nothing with all the adrenaline in my system. "I'll make something delicious for lunch, we can go to the garden with a picnic basket, under the starry sky..."

"Thank you, Batwoman. I love you..." the human whispers, smiling sleepy while the werewolf strokes her hair gently.

"Oh, come on, stop it. It's not even funny," I reply smiling in spite of all while trying to find my sneakers in the closet.

"It is funny. How could you forget that you can turn into a giant bat?"

"I've already explained it," I roll my eyes hard while tying my shoelaces. "I don't do that often, maybe once every century, because it involves wasting lot of energy. It's not easy to do and the effort leaves me exhausted and vulnerable if someone attacks me."

"At least your clothes change with you," Terra snorts, hugging the human tight against her body. "You're not wandering around naked..."

"Watching you wandering around the house and garden naked, so beautiful, is one of the things that kept me sane these past years," I answer getting closer to kiss her lips gently and the werewolf smiles, sleepy, before I turn off the lights and leave the bedroom. "Do not disturb them," I growl quietly when I realize that Georgina is floating in the middle of the corridor. The ghost shrugs and floats away heading to the attic.

"I expected to scare the hell out of you in the shower, as usual, but you're already dressed so I'll leave it for tomorrow."

"I live in a nuthouse," I whisper shaking my head while walking downstairs and across the wind rose mosaic on the floor under the glass dome, heading to the kitchen. I can see Ruby's dogs through the windows, playing with some fairies, but the witches and necromancers are nowhere to be seen. "Where is everybody?"

"They went to the closest village, to buy groceries," Raven smiles opening the fridge and pointing at one of my bags of blood, I shake my head and pour myself a coffee: I've already drunk something sweeter and more delicious. That cold blood can't compare to the nectar running through Ruby's veins. "They want to hold a party to celebrate that the human is back home."

"Good idea," I answer putting some sugar in my mug. "I always knew we'd rescue her but never expected Ruby to come out of hell unharmed and without sequels, she didn't even have nightmares, she slept soundly in my arms during the whole day. It seems a miracle... Have you talked to Mirabelle?"

"Yes, she told me her cousin is working on it," Maeve nods while taking a tray full of cinnamon buns from the oven. "She's still surprised because you managed to persuade the real estate agent to sell you Marsh's house so fast."

"Humans are easy to manipulate and they do whatever I want when I turn the vampire charm on," I admit smiling. "And his sales commission was very generous. It's a good thing that Mirabelle has a cousin who is a construction worker."

"Yes, she's told me that work is making a good progress and it'll take only two days for the house basement to be filled with concrete. It'll take a while to dry but, eventually, it'll turn hard as a rock and if someone intends to reach the hell gate again, they'll have to make a great effort digging. Mirabelle and her friends will make sure to protect the garden with powerful spells that will shoo away intruders, whether they are humans or magical creatures, nobody will get close to that property, I promise."

"Okay, every precaution must be taken, I don't want anyone to bother Ruby trying to open the damned gate and I hope it takes centuries for Marsh and Michaela to find another way to sneak out of hell. Those buns smell heavenly..."

"Be careful, they're hot."

"Ouch!"

"I told you, bloodsucker."

"Have you talked to your witch friends about the other matter?" Raven asks with curiosity, handing me a paper napkin to be able to take the bun without burning my fingers and the druid nods sadly.

"Yes, and it's not good news. Apparently, it is possible to sell or offer the soul of an unborn baby to the demons, even if the baby is not your child or a blood relative. That's what happened to Ruby, no doubt. It's horrible to think about..."

"So, you mean a random evil witch can sell babies souls, just like that. I can't believe this," I shake my head, angrily, and the sweet bun tastes bitter suddenly.

"Well, not just like that. They have to cast some spells and perform some rituals that are quite complicated, they must be casted by a witch with a wide knowledge of dark arts, they need to earn the mother's trust because they have to come to the witch's house on their own will and drink a potion mixed in a cup of tea or something like that... Many mothers notice that something weird is going on, out of instinct, and don't trust these sorceresses but Ruby's mother must be a lovely and trusting woman and that Eloise witch is smart because she managed to trick her."

"Ruby has called her mother, asking some questions discreetly, not explaining her what's going on, obviously," I reply putting my empty mug in the sink. "The poor woman doesn't suspect anything, she believes that the nurse living next door was a good friend and she was lucky because she married the man of her dreams."

"Is Ruby still determined to find her?" Raven asks quietly and I nod, sighing while looking through the window at Ru and Charlie that are chasing squirrels in the garden.

"She wants revenge. I've never seen her so angry before... she's scary but very hot when she's mad. And the truth is that Eloise needs to learn a lesson with a good kick on her ass, what a bitch."

"I'll ask some questions to the covens I trust the most," Maeve nods, putting the hot buns on a cooling rack carefully. "I bet that a powerful witch with such a knowledge of dark arts has drawn someone's attention before, someone knows her and can tell us where she is. Sorceresses tend to believe they're really smart but, actually, they don't go unnoticed and are closely monitored by white witches."

"Wow, this is beautiful. You've outdone yourself this time, Iselen. Very romantic..." Terra smiles while I take her hand and help her to sit down on the warm wool blanket. There're more blankets on a pile for my girls to cover their shoulders if they feel cold, colourful lanterns illuminate the lawn around us and there're small candles floating on the pool, in addition to that, there're fairies fluttering around like small fireflies, the moon light and the stars. Ruby kisses my cheek before sitting down too, looking at the wicker basket with curiosity.

"It smells good..."

"Champagne?" I ask opening a bottle and pouring some glasses. "We have a cheese platter, two of them are vegan, several types of bread, pasta salad with feta and herbs, some French quiches, artichokes cream and a roasted onions cream with balsamic vinegar to dip bread sticks, beef, chicken and roasted mushroom sandwiches, those rolls are stuffed with veggies and Indian spices and those with lamb are for Terra. For dessert we have fruit with mint syrup, chocolate and nuts warm brownies and a raspberry and peach pie."

"Oh wow, Maeve has outdone herself tonight, this is an amazing feast." Ruby opens her mouth wide in shock, holding her glass, and I raise an eyebrow, offended.

"Sorry, what? I seem to remember that I said I'd be in charge of lunch today..."

"Have you cooked?" Both women stare at me awestruck.

"It's not that difficult to follow the instructions of a cook book, you know. I'm a smart vampire, have supernatural powers and I've been watching witches for centuries simmering potions in my own kitchen. Oh, come on, plush toy, don't look at me like that. You know I can cook... I've done it before in this very same house."

"Well, yes, but it's been decades since the last time and, to be honest, this food is fancier than the dishes you used to cook. It doesn't require much skill to put a rabbit on top of some hot coals..."

"But I never burnt them or anything like that, they were edible, weren't they?" The werewolf nods reluctantly and grabs a chicken sandwich, biting it cautiously while Ruby tries the artichoke cream.

"This is good," the human smiles before taking a look around, confused. "Where are the dogs? They should be here whining to get a piece of meat."

"Maeve and Raven went for a walk with them around the property," I answer getting up to help some fairies that come flying from the forest carrying a very heavy basket full of wild strawberries. "Are these for us? Thank you, we'll eat them later with some whipped cream that the druid keeps in the fridge." Two fairies put a gorgeous flower crown on Ruby's head before flying away to flutter over the pool and the human laughs amused while trying a bite of each dish. Terra sighs relieved and I nod discreetly, I'm happy too because Ruby's hungry and doesn't look affected by what happened, her visit to hell had no terrible consequences, fortunately.

"My manager called me, she wants me to go back to LA to read a script and audition for a new role..." my guts get tense although I pretend to eat calmly, the werewolf moves on the blanket awkwardly but remains silent. "I told her I'm not interested, I need to take a break to think about my professional future."

"Okay," I whisper drinking a sip of champagne. "And do you know what you want to do?"

"Well, you two are my priority now, there's no doubt about that, and the Wind Rose must remain open, supernatural creatures still need a safe refuge sometimes. But now, you know you can visit the city leaving Maeve and Raven in charge here, you like my garden and feel comfortable sleeping in my house. I know LA is not the best environment for vampires and werewolves to be happy, there's too much noise, light, stinky smells and humans everywhere, but we could visit the city occasionally, I could do photoshoots and small roles in TV shows and Terra would visit Mirabelle..."

"And I could go and check that Marsh's house is still safe and no one is getting close to the damned door," I admit nodding. "I'd feel a lot better."

"I know it's not a long-term solution and I'll have to choose between LA and the Wind Rose sooner or later," Ruby admits taking a strawberry from the basket. "But it'll work for now and later, we'll see, I can decide it in a couple of years... I'd like to visit my mum too taking advantage of the fact that my guardian angel is faster than a jet plane."

"I think it's a great idea," the werewolf leans forward to kiss the human's cheek. "You know we'll always give you whatever you want, babe."

"You know perfectly well what I want right now, Terra," Ruby answers before opening her eyes wide, surprised. "Hello, little friend. What are you doing here? Do you want a piece of that roasted lamb?" A young fox is watching us from the edge of the forest, sniffing cautiously, his orange fur shines under the lanterns light when a couple of fairies get closer, fluttering over his head and whispering in his ear. I don't know what they told him but it seems to work and the animal moves closer to Ruby's hand, shyly, while she's holding a piece of meat, the human holds her breath and the fox gets even closer, snatching the food from her fingers and gobbling it in one bite. "Do you want more?"

"Ruby, you can't feed every wild animal in this forest," I hiss rolling my eyes hard. "They'll wait in line in front of the kitchen door every evening."

"But he's so cute... Oh, look, a rabbit family! Do you want a slice of watermelon?" The fairies keep bringing more furry and fluffy friends so the human can pet them and Terra shakes her head, amused and exasperated at the same time.

"Your madhouse is about to become a zoo."

"Shut up, plush toy!" I answer angrily before gesturing at the fairies discreetly, telling them to stop drawing animals towards Ruby. "We know what you want, babe: revenge. Are you sure?" The human turns her head to look at me deadly serious all of a sudden, putting the small rabbit she was petting back on the grass to she can join her siblings.

"Yes, I'm sure. I'm not doing this for me but for other babies given that Eloise is an unscrupulous witch and I don't think she was satisfied selling my soul to get a rich husband, I bet she's done this many times... or she'll do in the future. Maeve says that sorceresses resort to black magic to preserve their youth and beauty longer and those spells always involve the sacrifice of an innocent soul. That bitch needs to stop."

"You can count on me, my love," I answer raising my glass. "It's always a pleasure to kick the ass of an evil bitch but we have to wait till the druid gets enough information and draw up a plan carefully, no improvisation this time. Your safety comes first, Ruby Rose, we don't want to lose you again."

"You'll have to follow our rules if you want to do this," the werewolf whispers, looking at the human worried, we both know she can be a stubborn woman, but our girl nods, smiling.

"I understand it, I don't want to lose you either. We'll do this your way... But you have to promise me that you'll kick her sorceress' butt very hard." I smirk mischievously, winking at her.

"Baby, I'll send the bitch to hell with her ass so sore she won't be able to sit down during her first 100 years of torture."

"Thank you, Batwoman, you're my hero."

"Oh, come on, stop that," I growl angrily, throwing a strawberry at Terra's head while both woman laugh out loud, lying on the blanket. "I fail to see the humour."
