Pan's Game: Day 7

I was sitting near the campfire waiting for Devin, John and Michael to get ready for our walk to the beach, Pan still hadn't decided if I was allowed to join the Lost Boys for dinner yet and I was starting to feel like he wasn't going to allow me to. The three Lost Boys walked up to me and I got up from the log I was sitting on so we could start our walk.

We were walking along the beach talking and laughing at each other's jokes while looking for things that might look familiar to me. After a couple hours of walking around we decide to sit and take a break, eating the fruits and nuts we gathered during our walk. The four of us continued talking and telling each other jokes while we ate, I almost choked on my apple from laughing so hard at one of Devin's jokes. I was about to get up to continue looking around when I saw movement behind one of the nearby trees, "you three stay here" I said walking towards the tree "no way! Pan told us to keep an eye on you so you don't get hurt" Devin said "I thought it was so I don't run off?" I said looking back at the boys with an eyebrow raised "well, yeah, that too" John said "but there's new peop-" Michael started but stopped after Devin elbowed him in the side "what are you three not telling me?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest "it's nothing you need to worry about" Devin said "yeah, let's continue searching" John said "no, not until you tell me what you're hiding from me" I said raising my voice. The three boys looked at each other, exchanging looks, before Devin nodded his head and Micheal finished what he was going to say "there are some people that arrived on the island a few days ago and Pan thinks they might be dangerous" Michael said "dangerous to me or him?" I asked "to him, he thinks they're your family" John said looking at the ground "and you kept this from me!?" I shouted, all three boys flinched, this was the first time I've yelled at them since we became friends, I took a deep breath to calm myself down before looking back at the three boys and sighed "I'm sorry for yelling, just annoyed that you kept this from me" I said "honestly I was waiting for when you guys were going to tell me" I now had a small smile as I looked at the boys shocked faces "you knew!?" Devin asked "I overheard you and Pan the other day" I said "are you mad we didn't tell you?" Michael asked "only a little but I'll get over it, just no more keeping things from me please, no matter what Pan tells you" I said "what if he does something to us though?" John asked "I have a force field and can hide you all from his powers, trust me he won't be able to lay one finger on you" I said "but, can't he hurt you to get to us?" Devin asked "again I have a force field, plus I'm pretty sure I'm more powerful than him" I said with a small chuckle "what do you mean?" John asked "you'll see, maybe" I said, "we should head back now before Pan gets mad that we didn't get back in time" I said. The three of us started walking back towards camp when, again, I saw some movement behind a tree. I looked back at the three boys "did you see that?" I asked before looking back at the tree "yeah, someone's here" Devin said taking out his dagger, the other two Lost Boys took out their daggers and I did the same "I'll go check it out" I said, before I could move forward Devin grabbed my arm and shook his head "if you get hurt Pan would get mad at us and then who knows what will happen" he said. I rolled my eyes "what did we just talk about back at the beach? I can protect myself" I said "oh...right" Devin said letting my arm go. I closed my eyes and imagined a force field surrounding me and the three Lost Boys before walking closer to the tree with my dagger out. I quickly looked behind the tree but no one was there. I was about to turn around and go back to the boys when I saw a women with blonde hair running off, I was getting ready to follow her when I heard John calling my name. "Did you see anyone?" Michael asked when I got back to the boys "no, didn't see anything they probably ran off"I said, the boys nodded slightly before we continued our way back to the camp.

When we arrived back at camp Pan was talking with some Lost Boys, when he saw us approaching he dismissed the boys and turned is attention to us. "Find anything?" he asked "nope, now if you'll excuse me I would like to go read in my tree house" I said starting to walking away, but before I could get very far Pan grabbed my wrist to stop me. I looked back at him confused "I've thought about what the boys said" Pan said looking at the three Lost Boys before looking back at me "and I give you permission to join us at the fire again" he continued, my face lit up with joy and the three Lost Boys were smiling "thank you!" I said and, without thinking, I hugged Pan for the first time. When I realized what I was doing I quickly pulled away and looked at Pan who was slightly shocked by my actions "sorry, thank you" I said before running off to my tree house.

I was sitting in my chair reading when Devin entered my tree house, I looked up at him confused. "Hey, what's up?" I asked marking the page I was reading and putting my book down. The boy had a smirk on his face as he walked towards me and sat down across from me "what?" I asked still confused "you hugged Pan" he said with a slight laugh. I rolled my eyes "I was just super happy, I wasn't thinking okay" I said crossing my arm "sure, whatever you say" Devin said "I'm serious! it was an accident okay, it didn't mean anything" I said getting up from my chair "well Pan enjoyed it" Devin said looking at me "so? it's not going to happen again, that was a one time thing" I said "now is that all you wanted to talk about or was there something else?" I asked trying to change the subject "yeah, dinner will be starting soon and Pan wanted me to get you" Devin said "okay, let's go then" I said walking towards the door of my tree house and jumping down from the balcony grabbing the rope on my way "I thought Pan didn't like when you did that?" Devin asked as he climbed down the rope ladder "oh, he doesn't but I like to do it anyway" I said before walking in the direction of the campfire.

We all had just finished eating and the Lost Boys were dancing around the fire while Pan played his flute. Devin noticed I wasn't dancing and walked over to me "why don't you join us? I don't think we've ever seen you dance before" he said "can't dance without music" I said looking up at the Lost Boy "you can't hear it?" Devin asked "nope, only those who feel unloved and alone can hear Pan's music and since I've always had Felix and the hope that my family would find me I was never able to hear it" I said "but Felix isn't here anymore, he left" Devin said. I thought for a second of what to say next, no one could know that I used my powers to sneak out at night to see Felix in secret. "I still have hope of finding my family though" I said, Devin nodded then went back to dancing with the rest of the Lost Boys. I continued watching the Lost Boys dance around the fire when I felt a pair of eyes watching me, I started looking around when I saw Pan staring at me while playing his flute. He quickly looked away when he realized I caught him and continued playing his flute. After a few hours I decided to leave and go to my tree house, on my way I heard someone walking behind me, at first I thought it was Devin but before I could turn around someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the forest. I was pinned against a tree and was finally able to see who grabbed me, it was Felix, "what the hell are you doing here!? you're going to get caught!" I whispered "I came to warn you" Felix said "about what?" I asked "I was watching you earlier today when you were at the beach" he said "wait...you watch me?" I asked "well yeah, you're still my girlfriend I'm still going to try and protect you" Felix said "anyway, not the point, while I was watching you I saw others there too" he continued "were they the people Pan is trying to keep away from me?" I asked "I think so yes" Felix said "did you see their faces?" I asked "no, but one of them was a women with blonde hair, like what you described to me" Felix said "wait...I saw someone with blonde hair running off when me and the boys were walking back from the beach" I said "they're getting closer to camp, just be careful okay?" Felix said "I will, uhm, do you want to come inside?" I asked "the boys are still at the fire" I said "sure, but don't they check on you?" Felix asked as we walked to my tree house "only to make sure I'm still here and to say goodnight, but you can hide under my bed when they do that" I said "alright" Felix said.

Devin, John and Michael just closed and locked the door to my tree house, I closed my curtains so that they weren't able to see inside and helped Felix out from under my bed "see told you it'd work" I whispered "yes, I know you're always right" Felix said rolling his eyes playfully "I am aren't I?" I said jokingly, Felix chuckled before leaning down to kiss me, I kissed back and wrapped my arms around Felix's neck while his hands rested on my waist. We pulled away and I looked Felix in his eyes "what is it love?" he asked "just thinking about when I get my memory back and we can finally be together without having to hide" I said, Felix hugged me tight "maybe we could sneak out early in the morning before everyone else wakes up and go look for the people who were watching you?" Felix said. I looked up at him "but we don't know anything about them yet, you told me to wait until I was sure they were my family" I said "I know, but we both saw a women with blonde hair like in the flashback you had the other day, and we aren't going to talk to them just get close enough to see who they are" Felix said. I thought about it then looked back up at Felix "okay, yeah let's do that" I said Felix smiled down at me before giving me a small peck on my lips, "now let's get to bed so we have time to sneak out and get back before Pan notices" Felix said. I changed and handed Felix some of his old clothes he let me keep so he could change too before we got into my bed and cuddled next to each other, drifting off to sleep.

We woke up at three in the morning so it was still dark out, we changed and I grabbed my pixie dust to use on the three Lost Boys standing guard outside my door. I knocked on the door once and waited until one of the boys opened it. John opened the door and I blew the pixie dust on all three boys outside before Felix and I climbed down the rope ladder and ran into the forest. 

As we were walking around the forest we heard voices, we followed them and came to a small camp. Felix and I hid behind a tree and looked into the camp to see who was there. I saw six people, four women and two men. two of the women had their backs turned to where Felix and I were standing so we couldn't see their faces but one had blonde hair like I saw in my flashback and the other had very short black hair. The other two women were talking with each other, one had red hair and the other had black hair as well I assumed they were related somehow since they looked alike. The two men were talking with each other, one had dirty-blonde hair and the other had black hair and a hook for a hand. I could only see the faces of the red hair woman and the black hair woman who were talking, "do they look familiar?" Felix whispered to me "not sure, but the man with the hook does seem a little familiar to me" I said, I could only see one side of his face but it was enough for me to see a few flashes of me being with him before Neverland. Felix looked at me a little shocked "what?" I asked concerned "I know him, that's Captain Hook" Felix said "him and his pirate crew have been on this island before" he continued "have they been here at all since I've arrived?" I asked "no, at least not that I know of" Felix said. We continued watching until we heard footsteps coming from behind us, I quickly closed my eyes and imagined a bubble around me and Felix making us invisible to others. A man came out of the forest and walked passed me and Felix into the camp "did you find it?" said one of the women with black hair "no, he's hidden it well" the man said "why don't we use our magic like Regina and I suggested in the first place!?" the woman with red hair said motioning from her to the woman standing next to her "I've already told you we can't" Captain Hook said "Emma you said you saw her right?" said the other black haired woman "yes, but she was with three of Pan's Lost Boys so I wasn't able to do anything" the blonde woman said "did you see where they went?" Regina asked "I saw them walking on a beach then back into the forest, it looked like they were looking for something" Emma said "do you think she's been trying to find things to find us?" Captain Hook asked "I'm not sure, why would Pan let her do that?" Emma asked "maybe he sent her and the boys to look for something for him?" Regina said "she's been here for five years so it's possible her and Pan have gotten close enough he would send her on errands for him" said the man who had just joined the group not too long ago "we should sleep, it's late and we will need our energy to continue searching" said the short black haired woman. All the people in the camp went into their tents after putting out the campfire. I looked up at the sky to see what time it was, almost four, "we should head back, the others will be waking up soon" I said making me and Felix visible again, Felix nodded in agreement and we started making our way back to camp.

Pan's Game: Day 8

I was walking along the beach with Devin, John, and Michael. Pan decided to give me an extra hour to search today so the boys and I had enough time to gather some berries and take a longer break today. I took a quick glance at one of the nearby trees and saw Felix hiding behind it watching me, I gave him a quick smile before turning my focus back to the sand. After a while I saw something shining in the sand and I ran towards it. I crouched down to the ground and picked up a glass bottle with a bracelet and a piece of parchment, the three Lost Boys arrived behind me to see what I found. "What's that" Michael asked sitting next to me to get a closer look, "looks like a bracelet" John said. I opened the bottle and dumped out the contents inside it, first I looked at the charm bracelet it had four charms on it: a hook, a swan, a book and a sword.

Just like in my tree house, I saw bits of my memory coming back. I was standing in front of a big rock with a sword sticking out of it, "go on Auburn, you can do this"  said the same blonde I saw in my last vision, this time she was looking directly at me but her face seemed to be blurred. Next to her was Captain Hook, he was also looking at me and his face was perfectly clear "are we sure it'll work?" younger me asked looking back at the sword "it's already written in the book, this is meant to happen" said a boy with brown hair, his face was also blurred so I couldn't see it. I put both my hands on the hilt of the sword and took a deep breath. I took one last look at the people around me before pulling the sword out of the stone. "Auburn you did it!" the blonde women said "I knew you could do it sis!" the boy said "what now?" I asked looking up at the two adults and the boy "now, we can start your training, to teach you how to use excalibur and become queen" said a black man who was walking towards us, "who are you?" the boy asked "the name's Merlin, and I'm here to help Auburn fulfill her destiny" the man said.

I woke up to the three Lost Boys standing around me and Felix sitting behind me, my head resting on his lap. "Auburn are you okay!?" Felix asked his voice full of concern "yeah, yeah I think so" I said sitting up "what did you remember this time?" Devin asked "well, I was standing in front of a rock with a sword stuck in it" I started "wait, like excalibur?" Felix asked, I nodded "then there were three others there, the blonde I remembered last time, Captain Hook, and a boy who I'm assuming is my brother" I finished explaining "back up, you said you were standing in front of excalibur while it was stuck in a stone, did you pull it out?" John asked "yeah, I did, then a man named Merlin appeared" I said "that means your the queen of Camelot!" Michael said "did anything else happen?" Felix asked "just that Merlin said he was going to teach me how to be queen and use excalibur" I said "could you tell how old you were in your vision?" Devin asked "I sounded about thirteen, so it had to have happened maybe a few months before I arrived here" I said "you could have been on your way to Camelot but something happened which caused you to arrive here" Felix said "hey, we should head back, we've been here longer than we should have been" Michael said "he's right, if you're gone any longer Pan might come and get you" Felix said. The three Lost Boys and I started walking away from the beach while Felix walked back to our cabin.

When we got back to camp Pan was waiting by the fire. He was paising, but when he saw us he walked toward us, and he didn't look happy. "Where have you been!?" he asked yelling "sorry Pan we were-" Devin started "you've been gone for almost ten hours!" Pan yelled "I told you seven hours! and you come back after ten!" he continued yelling "Pan we're sorry, if you would just listen!" I yelled "go to your tree house now! and you three, come with me" Pan said before walking towards is cabin. I watched Pan walk away before storming off towards my tree house "asshole" I thought. I got to my tree house and slammed the door shut before I started packing my satchel, when I was done I made sure the door to my tree house was locked before jumping out of my window and running into the forest.
