A Note

So. Hey, everyone. It's been a long time since I even looked at this particular piece of fanfiction (though I did think about it from time to time, usually with a bit of embarrassment).

I logged back on here with the complete intention of deleting this. I disagree with a whole lot of my previous misconceptions about the characters (I treated Ron way worse than he deserved. In fairness, I had intended to redeem him in the end: he was going to make up with Harry. But the entire idea of him being prejudiced irritates me now. A huge part of Ron's characterization in the canonical sources is that he's loyal above all else, and I let that go in this).

Not to mention Draco himself. I don't agree with the way he was characterized in this, and as a lovely person pointed out to me a while back, I missed a great opportunity to explore the complexities of his character.

I know that a lot of you have found this story enjoyable (maybe it even made you start shipping Drarry). I'm really sorry, but I am going to be deleting it. I didn't do the characters justice, and there are a million other works of fanfiction that will portray them better than I every could have.

I thank all of you who have commented on this, and enjoyed the story. There is a chance that, in the future, I will be writing more Drarry (hopefully with a better premise and characterization), and I will post it on here.

I will leave this up for a week or two, so if any of you want to comment on here and tell me what you think, I'd like to hear you out.

I began this when I was pretty young (12, I believe), and thankfully I've grown since then. Maybe you guys have, too.

Again, any comments would be lovely. I hope you all aren't too disappointed in me... I will probably be writing more, after all.
