Putting it back together

*Louis' POV*

It has been 3 weeks since I hired Ariana. 21 days since I have even seen Jenna. She's been avoiding me ever since Ariana arrived. What kills me is no one else has seen her either. Except for Rachel, whom refuses to talk to any of us about her. 

*Niall's POV*

Jenna has been in her room since Ariana came. I can't believe her and Lou are dating. But they don't kiss or anything. Heck, half the time they don't even sit next to each other! Something's screwy here. I know Lou and if a girl is his, he wants everyone to know it... 

It's so obvious that Jenna likes Lou. But he's just too blind to see. We have been sitting around here for the past 3 weeks, waiting for something to happen. Louis needs to do something. He left Jenna heartbroken for a girl he doesn't even have feelings for. What is going through his head? 

I stand up, determined to find out what is going on. I walk over to Louis' door and barge in. He sits on his couch, looking sad. 

"Lou, what is going on?" I ask. 

"I uhh..." 

"Come on, Lou." I glance around, making sure Ariana isn't near. "It's so obvious that you don't like Ariana. So, explain to me why you left Jenna heartbroken." I demand. He looks at me like I have two heads. 

"Jenna isn't heartbroken." He states. I smack him upside the head. "Ow! What was that for?"

"For being an idiot. Why else has she not come out of her room? Now answer the question." 

His face changes as realization hits him. He looks back at me and sighs. He spills his story. 

"Niall, I don't know what to do." he mopes. 

"Don't know what to do? I'll tell you what to do. Stop being an idiot and go tell her!" I yell, frustrated. He looks down. I run my hand through my hair. 

"Louis, I get that you're kind of stuck here. But you need to figure it out and figure it out quick." I finish and leave back to my flat. I hear him sigh behind me.

*Louis' POV*

I sigh and stand up, mad at myself. I hit my fist against the wall. 

"Why am I such an idiot?!?" I yell at myself. "No! I'm sick of being scared. I am done with this stupid moping." 

I stomp over to my car and drive to Jenna's flat. I look around and thank my lucky stars that Rachel isn't here. I'm doing this while I have the guts to. I barge into her door and see her looking like a mess, yet beautiful as always. My heart just melts. 

"Jenna, listen to me. When I was talking about that girl, I was talking about you. I was going to ask you out but that takeout guy interrupted me. The next morning, I had zoned out because I was thinking about how pretty you were and I wasn't listening so I said yes to everything you asked me. I didn't know what I was saying..." 

"Louis..."

"So when I realized what I said, I freaked. I'm sorry I lied to you. I really really didn't want to but I was too chicken to tell you. And I know, no excuses. But I really am sorry. I actually hired Ariana to pretend to be my girlfriend..."

"Louis..."

"I know what you're going to say, but before you say it, I am so super sorry. And I am an idiot. I am such an idiot..." 

"Louis!" she yells. I look up at her and meet her eyes. "Shut up and kiss me." 

I look at her shocked for a moment before letting a huge smile form on my lips. Then, for once in my life, I follow instructions. 

I kiss her.
