- Staycation (3/3) ᰔᩚ

I carefully and quietly slide out of bed so that I don't wake up Josh. It's 9am and today is our last day in Big Bear, so I wanna take advantage and get a quick workout in.

I do my morning routine and throw on some gym clothes: a Calvin Klein sports bra and underwear set, a navy hoodie, black leggings, socks, and black & white Nike m2k sneakers. Once I'm done getting dressed, I head back into the bedroom to grab a hoodie.

Josh stirs in his sleep and does a big stretch. His gorgeous brown eyes flutter open, and his mouth turns a slight smile when he sees me. "Morning mama," he mumbles, rubbing his eyes. "Morning love," I reply smiling, fixing the hoodie strings.

He gets out of bed, walks over, and gives me a giant bear hug. "Where you headed?" "I'm gonna get a quick workout in. You wanna join me?" I ask, pulling out of the hug and playing with his mullet. He shakes his head. "I'm alright ma, thank you. I'll have breakfast made by the time you get back." I smile. "You're amazing, love. Thank you." He smiles back and we share a sweet kiss.

After a few strokes, his hands slide down to my ass and caress it. "Yo ass looks far too good in these leggings, ma." I roll my eyes playfully. "Boy you say that about everything I wear." He shrugs, biting his lower lip. "You can't blame me, ma. It's perfect." He lightly slaps it, before moving his hands back up to my hips. I smirk and kiss the corner of his mouth. "I'll see you when I get back, yeah?" He nods and we share another hug. "Be safe, ma. Text me when you get there." "I will. I love you." I reply, walking towards the door. "I love you too," he calls, and I head out.

I just arrived to the gym and, since it's so early, no one is here. I pull out my phone and text Josh.

Me: Hii baby I made it 🫶🏼

Joshua 💟: Good to hear mama. Have a good workout. I'll see you when you get home. ❤️

Me: Alr I will 🥰

I begin my workout, recording some of it and posting on my Instagram story.

I park in the driveway and head back into the cabin. Once I open the door, an amazing smell hits me in the face. I close the door behind me and walk into the kitchen, where my man is cheffing it up. Again.

"Hi baby I'm home," I say, sitting at the island. He turns around, smiles, and turns back to the stove. "Hey, ma. How was your workout?" I sigh and take a sip from my Stanley. "Tiring but really good." "Good," he replies.

He walks over and puts a plate of avocado toast, an omelette, and fresh fruit in front of me. He also gives me a glass of orange juice. "Here you go baby." I look at him and pout. "You're so sweet, honey. Thank you." He walks around the island smiling, wraps his arms around me, and kisses my temple. "I told you I'd have breakfast ready for you, mama." I smile and kiss his cheek, then turn back around and take a bite of my toast.

After a few chews, I throw my head back and rest it on his chest. He chuckles and kisses my cheek. "Good?" I nod, still chewing.

He smiles and places soft kisses on my neck. "Whatchu wanna do today ma?"I take a sip of my juice, thinking for a minute. "We can have a pool day," I suggest, holding a strawberry to his lips. He takes it and kisses my cheek. "Sounds good. I'll go grab all the towels and stuff." He heads upstairs as I finish my food.

I just finished getting changed into my bikini: it's black with multi-colored flowers.

I head downstairs and into the yard, where I see Josh chillin under the pergola, on his phone. And damn does he look fine.

He looks up and licks his lips when he sees me. "Do you ever not look good, baby?" "Says you," I reply, setting my towel on the empty lounge chair next to his.

He smirks, stands up, and scoops me up into his arms. I hold onto him tight as he heads over to the pool. "Joshua Samuel Fatu. Don't even think about it." "What was that?" he asks, looking around. "Baby plea-" I'm cut off by him throwing me in the deep end. I immediately swim back up and pout, folding my arms. He chuckles and bends down while I swim to the edge. "Aww poor baby," he says, stroking my arm. "She got all wet!" I glare at him, staring him right in the eyes, and pull his arm when he doesn't expect it. He falls in and I smile when he comes back up. "And that's what you get for playing too much!" "Aight ma you got me," he admits, pushing his curls back. He swims over to me and holds me, attacking my face with kisses. I wrap my arms around his neck and giggle.

He takes us back over to the wall and I lift myself up, sitting on the edge so that just my legs are still in. Josh stays between them, stroking my thighs. "This trip has been such a dream with you ma," he coos. "I don't wanna leave." I pout my lip and play with his curls. "Me neither, baby." He takes my hand and kisses it, and intertwines our fingers. "There'll be more trips to come. I'll make sure of it." I smile and nod. He leans up and puckers his lips. I giggle and accept his offer, making a "mwuah" sound. He smiles and, after a little while, we decide to get out and chill on the lounge chairs for a bit.

I put some sunscreen on my face, arms, chest, stomach, and legs. "Want some help with the back, mama?" he offers, placing his hands on my waist. I nod and hand him the bottle. "Yes please." He smiles and pats my side, as a way to tell me to lay down. "I gotchu." I do so and he massages the cream into my back, shoulders, and spends extra time on my ass.I chuckle. "Baby I don't need it there!" He smirks and continues rubbing. "I know." I suck my teeth and rest my head on my arms.

His massages are so unmatched. Lemme tell you - them big Samoan hands get put to good use!

I scroll on Instagram and decide to post on my story.

It's now almost 7pm and we're back on the road - headed home. Leaving the cabin was super sad, since the trip was so much fun. But all in all, I'm super happy and grateful that my man and I got to spend quality time together.

I look over at Josh and his eyes are glued to the road, stroking my hand with his thumb at the same time.

How is this man real? He's so perfect. From his little diamond hoop earrings, to his perfectly trimmed salt & pepper beard, to his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes, to his luscious curls. I'm so in love. I'm so lucky. I hate that we have to go back home and I'm gonna be separated from him again.

I guess I stared for a bit too long, because once we hit a red light, he looks back over at me and we make eye contact. He smiles and reaches over to take a curl out of my face. "You good babygirl?" I nod, giving a slight smile back. "Just thinking." He looks back at the road and drives again. "Oh? What about?"

I glance out the window and let out a sigh, watching tiny raindrops fall down the glass. "Work," is all I say, knowing he'll understand.

This time, he sighs and kisses the top of my hand. "I know baby. I don't wanna be separated again either. I thought this trip would help us, but it's only made me grow more attached to you and not wanting to leave you again. I'm sorry."

I look back at him, a disappointed look on his face. I blink back tears and reach out, stroking his curls - one of his favorite feelings in the world. "There's nothing to apologize for, love. We'll make it work. We always have." He lets out a soft smile and nods. "And we always will."

He leans in and we share a lengthy kiss - so lengthy that it makes the car behind us beep. Josh looks up in a panic and realizes the light turned green. "Californians are so damn impatient! Chill out Uce!" he yells and I burst into laughter.

If there's one thing that Joshua Fatu is gonna do, it's lighten the mood with his goofiness.

For the rest of the car ride, we jam out to our favorite songs and enjoy the last few hours of time that we'll be attached at the hip.
