~Chapter Eight~

(Yams POV)

I wake up finding that my arms are wrapped around another body. I look and I see that I'm hugging Tsukkis side. I sigh out of relief as the memories from yesterday come back.

I cant believe that Tsukki feels the same way. I smile to myself and snuggle closer to him. A few minutes later I feel Tsukki shift and I feel his hands start messing with my hair. I giggle softly because it tickles.

I look up at him and I see he's already looking at me with tired eyes. "If you're still tired you should go back to sleep." I say giving a concerned look. "No, I'm fine. I want to stay up with you." He says in a husky morning voice while shaking his head. I giggle and nod.

He continues to play with my hair and it's actually pretty relaxing. "Your hair is always so soft and fluffy." Tsukki says, continuing to mess with my hair. "Is it really?" I say slightly embarrassed.

"Mhm, and you're warm too." He says, pulling me up to face him. This surprised me and also made me a bit flustered being so close to him. I turn my head slightly and look away, too embarrassed to make eye contact.

I feel Tsukki grasp my chin with his thumb and index finger and tilt my head to face him again. "Why do you look away? I want to see your pretty face" Tsukki says, smirking at me. I look at him surprised and I sit up quickly.

"Tsukki! What are you saying? I'm not pretty." I say frowning at Tsukki. "I think you need new glasses Tsukki." He sits up as well and frowns back "Yams have you seen yourself? You, Tadashi Yamaguchi, are the most beautiful person that walks the Earth." Tsukki says poking my cheek.

I blush a bright shade of red. "Thanks Tsukki, I also think you're really cute." I say grinning. He smiles back at me and runs his hand through his hair. "Just cute?" He says, raising an eyebrow. I blush again and look away. "I think you are other things too." I say, too embarrassed to look up. "Really now?" I hear Tsukki say, I give him a quick glance and I see that he has that smug smirk on.

"Tsukki~ stop teasing me." I say playfully hitting his arm. "Your fun to tease, so I can't help it." He says smirking again. I giggle and shake my head.

"So what are we doing today?" I say looking at Tsukki. He looks at me and then looks up at the ceiling, It looks as if he's thinking. "There's a new store that opened in town. They sell all kinds of neat thing." He says looking at me for a response.

He wants to go with me All of a sudden I feel excited and happy. "If you want me to go with you then of course I'll go." I say giving him a smile. He smiles and nods. "Well go later tonight, I want to stay in bed a little longer." He says, he lays down and motions for me to lay next to him, I smile and lay down next to him.

He scoots down the bed a little more and his arms wrap around my middle. He nuzzles into my stomach area and I feel my face heat up. I smile to myself and I put my arms around his head.

We left the house around 6:42 and Tsukki insisted that I wear one of his hoodies, even though I already brought the one he gave me. I complied and I'm now wearing a different hoodie of his.

It's warm and really comfortable so I'm not going to complain. While we're walking I look down at the ground and slightly move closer to him, a few seconds later he does the same and that causes our shoulders to touch. Our fingers intertwine and we keep walking.

I smile and feel my cheeks heat up. After a few more minutes of walking Tsukki stops in front of a shop that looks fairly new. I stop as well and look at it. It's a pretty small building and through the window I can see clothes, figures, and other things.

It looks really cool and I really want to go inside. "Lets go inside Tsukki!" I say tugging on his sweatshirt and leading him to the door. When I open the door I see that it looks much bigger on the inside than outside.

I pull Tsukki inside and I continue to look around. They mostly have random things like keychains, souvenirs, snacks, and many more knick-knacks. I look over at Tsukki and I see he's looking in the souvenir section.

I look around for a little while, I walk by the keychains but as I'm walking past I see something that catches my eye. I turn my head and look at it. I pick it up in my hand and smile to myself because it reminds me of Tsukki. In my hand I hold a cute tiny dinosaur keychain.

As I'm looking at the keychain I feel someones presence from behind me. I set the keychain back where it was. I slowly turn around and I see Tsukki behind me glaring at something across the aisle.

I look up at him confused. Is something wrong? He glances down at me then looks back to where he was glaring. I hesitantly look over to where he's looking. I see a group of girls, about 5 of them. They look our age and they are looking over here, giggling.

I look back at Tsukki wondering what's wrong with him and why he's giving those girls dirty looks. "T-tsukki" I say concerned. "What's wrong?" I say lightly poking his arm. He looks down at me and sighs.

"It's nothing." He says looking away, his tone is telling me something is up. I frown and try to meet his eyes but he keeps looking away. "I know something is wrong Tsukki. Cant you tell me?" I say as my frown deepens.

Tsukki looks at me again and I see his cheeks are slightly red. "Its nothing, I'm getting pissy over stupid things." Tsukki says rubbing the back of his neck. He turns to walk away but I grab the sleeve of his hoodie before he could get far. Getting pissy? I'm still confused.

"What are you getting mad over? Did I do something wrong?" I say frantically .

He pauses and looks at me in slight shock. "N-no it's not you. I could never be mad at you, it's those girls When I was in another isle I could see them giggling and they kept staring at you and talking about how cute you are and how they want your number. I mean they aren't wrong about you being cute but only I can say that." He pouts. He gives an annoyed look over to the group of girls

So he was jealous. I thought I was the one who did something wrong. I look at Tsukkis embarrassed expression and I feel bad.

I wrap my arms around him and squeeze gently. Seconds later I feel his arms around me and he does the same. "Sorry I made you think you did something wrong Yama." Tsukki says. "It's fine Tsukki, I get jealous a lot so don't be sorry." I say quietly.

He pulls away and looks at me intently. "You get jealous?" He says with a dumbfounded look. I feel my cheeks heat up and nod. "Y-yea" I say. "When?" He says inching his face closer to mine.

"Well sometimes at school I always see girls making stupid googly eyes at you." I say looking away. I hear Tsukki let out a little laugh, I look up at him and he looks back at me. "So that's why you're always pouting in the halls." Tsukki says, trying to hold back his laughter.

"W-what?! I do not pout. A-and don't make fun of me!" I say pursing my lips. "I'm not laughing to make fun, I'm laughing because you're cute." He says smiling. I smile and look at the ground. "Being cute isn't a bad thing." He says gently touching my cheek.

I grin and grab his hand. "Go over there for a sec so I can do something." I say slightly pushing him in the opposite direction of where we're standing.

He cooperates and I turn back around and head to the keychain section.

I grab the dinosaur keychain and head for the register. I pay for the keychain and the cashier gives me a bag to put the keychain in. As I'm about to turn around I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see a petite girl waiting in front of me.

"H-hello, I was wondering if I could have your number?" she says looking up at me. She must be one of the girls Tsukki was talking about. I guess they must not have seen Tsukki and I hugging. I look up and see the group of girls looking in our direction. I look back down at her and give her an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry but I must be going, my boyfriend is waiting for me." I say, giving her a smile. She looks at me with her mouth hanging open in shock.

I excuse myself and head towards Tsukki. He sees me and his facial features soften. I smile at him and he smiles back.

"Ready to go?" He says heading for the door. I nod and follow him. We walk outside and start walking towards Tsukkis house. As were walking Tsukki asks me what's in the bag but I tell him it's a surprise but that makes him want to know even more.

"What's in the bag Tadashi huh?" He says poking my sides. "I told you I'll show you at the house." I say blushing at the use of my given name. "Fine." He says doing a little pout. We walk for a few more minutes then I feel something slip into my hand.

I look down to see that it's Tsukki's hand. I squeeze his hand and he squeezes back. I smile and look up at him. He looks down at me and gives me a small smile. We arrive at Tsukkis house and he pulls me inside.

He shuts the door and then turns around to face me. He leans down and pecks me on the cheek. It catches me by surprise but I recover quickly. He pulls away and I grab the sleeve of his shirt. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss his cheek.

This surprises him and I giggle at his reaction. He grabs my waist and pulls me flush against him. He leans closer to my ear and I feel his lips slightly brush against my ear. "You make it hard to hold back sometimes." He says in a voice that makes me shiver.

He pulls back and smirks. I feel the blood rush to my cheeks. I turn my head and look away. I grab the bag from my pocket and hand it to him. "H-here." I say quietly. He takes it and looks at me confused.

He slowly opens it and takes the keychain out. He looks at it then back at me. I see his cheeks turn a light shade of pink. He grabs my hand and leads me to his room.

When we walk into his room he immediately goes to his bag. He latches the keychain onto his schoolbag and looks at it proudly. I smile. I'm glad he likes it. He puts his bag down and sits on his bed. He motions for me to sit next to him.

Just as I'm about to sit down next to him he pulls me onto his lap, which makes it so I'm straddling him. It takes me a second to realize what just happened. He looks into my eyes and I feel my face get really red. "Thank you. It was really thoughtful of you to get me that keychain." He says hugging my torso.

I hug him back. "Your welcome." I say. We stay like this for a few more minutes until Tsukki pulls away. I look at his face and I see that he's frowning, seeing this makes me frown.

"Tsukki?" I say wondering why he's frowning. "I didn't get you anything." Tsukki says with a sad look. "I don't care if you didn't give me anything. I gave this to you because I wanted to." I say grinning, taking his face in my hands.

He looks at me and his frown turns into a small smile. He buries his head in my chest and hugs me tightly. "I love you." I hear Tsukki say, squeezing me. I smile and squeeze him back. "I love you too." I say smiling. "Forever?" He says softly. "Forever." I say, confirming.

We stay like this for a couple of minutes before Tsukki makes it so that we're laying down. Since I was straddling him, my legs are still wrapped around him. It's actually very comfortable. "What time is it?" I say yawning.

I feel Tsukki shift and I assume he grabbed his phone.

"It's 8:52. You tired?" He says yawning too. "Yea a little." I sit up and take the hoodie I was wearing off. Tsukki sits up and does the same. I get up and head to his dresser. "My sweatpants are in the bottom drawer." Tsukki says.

I open the bottom drawer and grab the first pair I see. I'm too lazy to walk to the bathroom so I decide to change in the bedroom. I take my pants off leaving me in an oversized T-shirt and my boxers briefs.

As I'm putting on the sweatpants I feel a pair of eyes watching me intently. My face turns red and I finish slipping them on, I turn around and make my way over to the bed, avoiding eye contact.

I sit back down on the bed and cover my face with my hands. I can't believe I just changed in front of him, what the hell was I thinking? As I'm dying of embarrassment I feel the bed shift and a pair of arms slowly wrap around my waist and I feel Tsukkis chin on my shoulder.

"That was quite the view." Tsukki says in a low voice, almost a whisper. I shiver and feel goosebumps on my skin. I turn around and wrap my arms around him and lay the both of us down to hide my flushed face.

"S-sorry." I say, tightly closing my eyes. I hear Tsukki laugh and put his arms on my back. "Don't be." He says with a playful tone. As were laying down a wave of sleepiness hits me. I yawn and snuggle closer to Tsukkis chest.

"Goodnight Yams." Tsukki says, kissing my forehead. I give him a sleepy smile. "Nighty night Tsu~" Is all I can manage to say before I fall into a deep sleep.
