Chapter 5

This chapter is after Hanna got hit by A

It is very true that if a girl had a nasty breakup they eat ice cream, watch chick flicks and listen to every sad song on their playlist on repeat, well that is sorta where I am right now expect I didn't have a nasty breakup but my heart is still broken, I mean a breakup is just as bad as to has a three year crush on someone and they are mad at you for not telling them and then they basically reject you, I call that truce.

Ring!Ring!

"Hello" I answered not looking at the caller ID

"Hey Kody you okay?" Spencer asked me softly

"Yeah I'll be fine eventually" I said muttering the last bit under my breath

"What's up?" I asked sighing

"Can you please come to the dance with us tonight cause I'm a bit worried about Em" she said with a pleading tone

"Why are you worried about Em?" I asked curiously

"Because Jenna is back and so is Toby, I'm afraid he is A and Emily has been talking to him around school and I'm scared that she may get hurt" Spencer explained to me.

"Anything else?" I asked

"Yeah, but you are not gonna like it...." she said a bit softer trailing of her words

"What?" I asked exasperated for a dramatic effect

"Jason is the school's new guidance counselor" she said really fast

"Come again I think I misheard you" I said

No! I can't see Jason everyday it is just gonna hurt so much more! To say I'm surprised and shock is an understatement.

"I'm sorry Kody.. but if you put on a hot, sexy dress and show Jason that you are ready to face the world" she said

I chuckled and said 'okay' than hung up time to get ready then, she said she'll pick me up with her date.

I decided I didn't want to dress up so I went for comfy, sweatpants and a sweatshirt with my fluffy uggs and fyi Spencer doesn't get to yell at me because I brushed my hair and teeth.

I heard a car honk outside so I grabbed my phone and went outside.

"Why aren't you dressed?" Spencer scolded at me

"I said I will go, and I want to be comfortable" I said stubbornly

"Just get in" she said with a scowl on her face

"Hi I'm Alex, Spencer's boyfriend" a cute guy said that is behind the steering wheel

"Nice to meet you I'm Kody" I said with a fake smile, I'm really not in the mood for happy people

On our way to school I saw Spencer was texting someone but I didn't ask who. When we got to school I saw the other girls standing outside waiting for us.

"Hey guys long time no see" I said going lazily over to them

"You look like shit" Hanna said blunty

"Hey! At least I brushed my teeth and comb my hair so be grateful" I said crossing my arms

"Come on" Aria dragged me to who-knows-where while people gave me weird looks and me ignoring them, we walked past Jason and he looked at me shocked so I gave him a piece of my mind

"What?! Never seen a girl look like shit before?" I yelled/asked at him from a distance while he just looked at me

I got dragged into the girls bathroom by Spencer, Aria and Hanna

"What now" I whined like a toddler

"We are gonna make you look presentable" Hanna said

"Put this on" Aria not-so-gently shoved a dress and me into a cubicle

The dress is navi- blue that goes to my mid-thigh with zigzags at the back, the dress hugged my body perfect and when I came out the girl's mouth hung wide open.

"You look better in that dress than me" Aria said

"Here are your shoes" Hanna said handing me a pair of black 6 inch heels

"Now, makeup" they said in unison

Ten minutes later I looked like another person and not a lazy butt.

"Let's go party" I said and pumping my fist in the air

They rolled their eyes and we went inside and just hung out. "Do you guys wanna go to the photo booth?" I asked when Em came here with Toby.

I don't really have anything against Toby, his kinda cool.

"Nope I'm dancing with Sean" Hanna said walking of

"I'm spying on Ezra and Simone" was Aria's answer

Aria's old babysitter came and surprised her, but she is flirting with Ezra or Mr. Fitz and it is making Aria mad.

"I'm looking for Alex" Spencer said

"Sorry me and Toby are chatting" Em said

"Well than it is just me" I said more to myself than anyone else. I saw Jason a few times and everytime I looked he was already starring.

I went into the photo booth and started setting the thing to start taking the pictures. Before I could begin taking them someone came in, when I looked up I saw it was Jason I made a move to leave but he grabbed my arm softly.

"Can we talk please?" He asked me with pleading eyes

"Jase there is nothing to talk about" I sigh

"There is you talked I listened, now you have to listen while I talk" he said his eyes never leaving mine

"Jason there isn't--" I got cut of by Jason's lips crashing onto mine silencing me, our lips moved in sync, at first it was soft but then he started kissing me harder his tongue slipping into mine and him grabbing my waist to pull me closer and me tangling my fingers into his hair.

I've waited for this moment my whole life, and now that it's happening is pure bliss.
