Chapter 34

Chapter 34: (Eminem's point of view!)

When me and Helena got into the cab she started telling that I still had 16 more people to meet.

"Yeah but don't worry the family you met so far already like you. Trust me I could tell.” Helena said as she smiled then put her nose to mine.

 I quickly kissed her. It was about a 45 minute drive. I got our stuff out of the taxi. It was a pretty big house with 3 floors but I kind of expected more of the house. Helena led me to her old bedroom. As I walked in it seriously looked like of Helena's mother Janet hasn't touched a thing since Helena moved out. Helena went to tell her mother something so I looked around her room. She had a lot of pictures of her family on the wall and pictures of her friends on a cork board. She looked so happy in all the pictures. Oh her dresser she had all her perfumes and jewelry in a jewelry box that played music when you opened it. On a book shelf she had a lot of old books, notebooks and photo albums.

"My mom hasn't moved anything since I moved out." Helena said as she walked in.

 "When did you move out?" I quickly asked her.

 "I was 19 so 7 years ago." She replied.

 "Hey don't take offense in this but how come you didn't give your mom a nicer or bigger home?" I asked her.

"No its cool and well the first thing I bought when I started making good money was a beautiful home for my mother and I mean beautiful... I mean I live in an apartment and I bought my mother a huge house but she actually made me "return" it. I had to sell it." She explained to me.

 "Why?" I quickly asked.

 "Because we all grew up here. My brother, sister and me lived here in till we were 19. She doesn't want another house. She said she wanted this house and this house only." Helena said.

 "Oh" I replied.

Helena's mother was pretty cool for that. I wouldn't want to give up the house my daughters have lived most of their live in. Soon Helena's uncle Ivan walked in. Helena told me this was Dre's nephew and he really did remind me of Dre. After that Helena's brother Jaime and her sister Jocelyn walked in. Jamie's 29 and Jocelyn is 23. They both were so much like Helena. I got to know more about them. They were married. Jamie's wife Catherine is 6 months pregnant and Jocelyn is 3 months pregnant. Helena looked really happy. Many people were beginning to arrive. Mrs. Lopez was outside making food in the backyard. Everyone was out there except us.

 "Let’s go outside." Helena said then grabbed my hand and led me outside.
