Chapter 32

Chapter 32: (HELENAS POINT OF VIEW!)

 I woke up feeling really excited. It was Thursday so I decided to pack all my things for Chicago. Tomorrow Marshall and I will go and see my family. I was really nervous that my family would not like Marshall or that Marshall would not like my family. My family is really open and comfortable with each other. Our food, music, traditions and customs are a lot different. Half of my family only spoke Spanish so I was praying to God everything would turn out alright.

 "Thanks so much." I told Caroline after she helped me pack.

 "No problem! Okay so is this trip going to be a you & Marshall Thing? No me, Julie or Paul?" Caroline asked me.

 "No just us two. He's meeting my family for the first time. Plus we will be fine so you guys don't have to worry." I quickly replied.

 I received a text from Marshall saying "packed and ready to go!"

 I quickly replied "okay cool. We will pick you up at 5:00 am."

Our flight was really early so we could get to Chicago around 10 or 11 am. Marshall was okay with it. After I got everything prepared I just sat down and relaxed. Me and the girls just watched a bunch of movies all day.
