Chapter 20: (HELENAS POINT OF VIEW)

Marshall walked over and pressed his lips to mine. His lips were so soft. He kissed me very gently. I closed my eyes for about 5 seconds when I realized what I was doing I quickly opened my eyes and pulled away from him.

"What? Is everything okay?" Marshall asked me as he looked at me.

 "Uh.... No um you know I just remembered I have to pick up Julie and Caroline from the airport." I said as I quickly stood up.

I felt so confused! I couldn't believe he kissed me. I was still in shock.

"Do you want me to give you a ride to the airport?" He asked me.

 "Um no I will just take a cab." I said as I grabbed my purse and keys. He walked out with me.

 "Helena... I will give you a ride." He said as he looked at me.

 At that point I just didn't want to be near him. I don't even know why. He was such a good man but I was too scared to get into another relationship.

 "No its fine honestly. I don’t want you to waist you time and you have to pick up your daughters." I quickly replied.

 "Not till later though. Really it’s no problem." He said as he walked up to me.

 I said yes since I didn't want to be rude. I got into his Mercedes Benz truck.

 "Look I am sorry. I couldn't help myself." He said as he looked at me.

I was really nervous and I had butterflies in my tummy.

"No its okay." I replied slowly.

 "I shouldn't have done that I am really sorry. Your just so... Beautiful. Shit!" He said as he starred out the window.

 "No its okay. I just wasn't expecting you to do that." I replied.

 "I myself didn't expect to do that! Helena you’re an amazing women I swear! You make me feel like I am in high school. Which is a good thing. You’re so easy to talk to and I know I just met but I want to get to know you even more then I do. I like you. I really like you. I want you to give me a chance." He said as he looked into my eyes.

 My heart melted. It felt like I did really like him. I was willing to give him a chance.

 "Well I don't see anything wrong with getting to know each other. I really like you too. I got to meet an amazing person in just a week and a half." I said as I smiled and looked at him.

"Really!? I promise you won’t regret it." He said as he leaned forward slowly and put his forehead against mine.

 His eyes were so beautiful. I couldn't help but kiss him. Instead of him kissing me I went forward and pressed my lips against his. I think he was shocked at first but then he continued to kiss me. I felt so warm and comfortable with him...
