⋆ Chapter 27 ⋆Make Me

                          "What the fuck are you wearing?" Nate sneered grabbing Adaline's wrist as she attempted to walk past him.

"Clothes." The brunette replied shortly heading into her room.

She sighed knowing that he followed behind her. Adaline had only gotten home moments ago. She was not in the mood to deal when Nate.

"You look like a fucking slut."

"Oh fuck off Nate. It's too late for this shit." The girl sighed removing her wings and flower crown.

"You shouldn't have even gone to that party. Something could have happened to you and the baby."

"You didn't seem too worried about me when your tongue was down Maddy's throat." Adaline rolled her eyes stripping out of her sheer purple dress. She could feel Nate's eyes roaming her body but she ignored him.

"Don't start with that shit. You were doing the same fucking thing with Justin." He yelled annoyed.

"Is that his name?" Adaline questioned as she looked for clothes to wear. Nate scoffed shaking his head. "I only kissed him to make you jealous." She revealed.

"Why? You know I'm only with Maddy for show. We've been over this how many times. It's only for a little while."

"You said after Halloween. Well guess what Halloween is over." Adaline exclaimed pointing towards her alarm clock that read 3 am.

Nate didn't respond. He didn't know how to tell her that she was going to have to wait a little longer. He needed to make sure Maddy was really on his side before breaking up with her.

"Can you leave now? I'm wanna go to sleep." The brunette said annoyed.

He sighed before exiting her room. Nate knew nothing would be happening between them until he was done with Maddy for good. Nate didn't know when he was going to break things off with her. He still loved her but he loved Adaline more.

Monday arrived sooner than the Kingston girl would have liked. Adaline groaned sitting up from her bed. She did not want to go to school. She knew she was going to have to watch Nate and Maddy be all over each other. They had to show how in "love" they were and how "innocent" Nate is.

"False accusations in today's world can cause serious long-term damage to one's career, reputation, and emotional well-being. We all owe Nate Jacobs a heartfelt apology, and are excited and thrilled to have him back at East Highland." The office secretary said over the announcements.

Adaline couldn't help but roll her eyes as she looked over at Nate. He was currently being patted on the back by some of his teammates. If only they knew the real him. She thought.

It was Wednesday when Adaline was approached by Cassie as she was walking towards Nate's truck. She was still acting cold towards him but he was her only ride.

"Hey Addie can you come over to my house?" The blonde asked.

"What's up?"

"I just really need to talk to you." Cassie explained. "I can give you a ride home."

Adaline glanced behind her at Nate who was patiently waiting. He was leaning against the side of his truck and she couldn't help but think that he looked hot. She blamed it on her pregnancy hormones.

"Um okay. Just let me tell Nate." Cassie nodded heading over to her car as Adaline made her way to Nate.

"You ready?" He asked.

"I'm going over to Cassie's." She stated not waiting for a reply as she walked to Cassie's car.

"I don't know what you're gonna say, but this feels like... really dramatic." Kat spoke from her place at the table across from Adaline.

When Cassie asked her to come over she totally forgot to mention that she also invited Kat, BB, and unfortunately Maddy. She hadn't seen the Perez girl since Halloween and she was still angry at the fact that Nate told her about the pregnancy.

"Yeah, this is spooky." BB joked.

"It is not spooky, BB. I just, I need your advice on, like, two things. And I need you guys to promise me not to say a single fucking word. So, the night of Daniel's Halloween party, something happened." Cassie began explaining.

Adaline was shocked to say the least. She definitely was not expecting Cassie to be a cheater. She thought she was happy with McKay. But Adaline also had to remind herself that drunk Cassie was not the same as sober Cassie. When the blonde was drunk it was like she was a completely different person. She had no control over her thoughts and actions.

"Wait. Am I hearing this correctly? You want to tell McKay that you made out with Daniel at the carnival and on Halloween?" Maddy questioned. 

"Yeah, but, I don't... I don't have to say it's Daniel."

"Bitch, that's the craziest idea I've ever heard. Right?" Maddy asked looking at the others for help.

"For sure." BB agreed.

"Yeah, but I want to be honest with him." Cassie said.

"I think you should tell him. It's better to be honest than lie to him about it." Adaline announced causing Maddy to scoff.

"Yeah because you're so honest?" The Perez girl laughed sarcastically before turning back to Cassie. "You cannot tell McKay."

"But it's not like I cheated-cheated."

"Kissing is worse. It's so much more intimate. And if anybody brings it up, you deny, deny, deny."

"Okay, but, I just don't want there to be something this bad between us forever." Cassie replied.

"I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like you guys are gonna be together forever." Kat suddenly said. Everyone at the table snapped their head towards her completely shocked at what she just said.

"Kat, what the fuck is your problem? You're being a bad friend now. You were a bad friend to me, and this whole new personality is seriously unlikable." Maddy exclaimed.

"World Star!" Shouted BB.

"Why, because I won't sit and listen to you bitch and moan about your psychotic, abusive boyfriend who you've literally broken up with a thousand times?"

"It was literally the lowest point in my life, so, yeah. That and the fact that you're just fuckin' mean." Maddy snapped back. Adaline sighed knowing this wasn't going to end well.

"Maddy, ever since I've met you, all you talk about is yourself. Your clothes, your boyfriends, whatever superficial shit you think is so fucking important. Sorry I'm no longer interested." Kat ranted.

"I don't know about everyone else, but I miss the old Kat. You know, the one who had a sense of humor and wasn't a fuckin' cunt?"

"Seriously Maddy? Why can't you not cause drama for at least five seconds?" Adaline asked annoyed as Kat exited the house. She was being a complete bitch to Kat. She knew Kat's comment was unnecessary but so were Maddy's.

"Oh please Adaline. You're the biggest fucking liar here. You wanna tell Cassie she should be honest right? Why don't you take your own advice?"

"Shut up Maddy!" She yelled nervously glancing at the other girls.

"Make me bitch!" The Perez girl yelled right back. "What don't you want everyone to know that you're pregnant with MY boyfriends baby?"

"Damn." BB exclaimed shocked.

Cassie and Lexi both glanced at each other with wide eyes. The room was silent as the two ex friends glared at each other.

"Fuck you!" Adaline seethed grabbing her purse and storming out of the Howard's home.

The front door of the Jacobs home slammed shut as the angry brunette stomped her way up the steps towards Nate's bedroom. She flung his bedroom door open coming face to face with a very confused Nate.

"Fuck you!" She screamed launching towards him and beginning to hit his chest. "And fuck your stupid fucking girlfriend!"

"Woah! Hey! Adaline? What happened?" Nate asked grabbing onto her arms successfully stopping her from hitting him anymore.

"I told you but you didn't listen! You never fucking listen to me Nate!" She cried.

"Baby please! Tell me what's wrong." He begged not noticing the pet name that slipped out.

"She told them." Adaline huffed ripping her arms out of his grasp. "Maddy told all of our friends that I'm pregnant."

"Shit." Nate sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.

Nate himself wasn't particularly bothered by the fact that everyone might find out now. He honestly wanted people to know. Then they'd know that Adaline was his. But he knew she wasn't ready for people to find out. She didn't want to be judged.

"I told you this was going to happen." The girl mumbled falling back onto his bed.

"Is it really that big of a deal? I mean so what? We're both happy about it now."

"It's a big deal Nate because I should have been the one to announce it when I was ready. It should have been a happy moment for me but she ruined it."

The Jacobs boy gently sat down next to the girl he loved. He slowly reached out and wrapped his arm around her pulling her into a side hug. They both sighed thinking about everything that had happened recently. Praying that life would settle down. Unfortunately, they had no idea how much crazier their lives were going to get.

Omg the finale was crazy. I thought it was good but I also kinda wish we got more answers.

I'm happy Faye said something bc I love her character. I'm so upset about Fez and Ash though.

Rue looked so healthy the past two episodes. I really hope she stays clean.
