⋆ Chapter 12 ⋆Sugar Daddy

   While Nate was shocked that Maddy would do something like this. Adaline wasn't surprised. Maddy told the girl before they stopped being friends that she was seeing an older guy. Adaline just never thought it was her father. Maddy of course wouldn't tell Adaline who the guy was. But the Kingston girl just assumed her friend was being her usual mysterious and secretive self by not giving any details.

Nothing could have prepared Adaline for the truth. As much as she didn't want to believe that her best friend was in fact sleeping with her father. She knew. They had literal proof and yet Nate still didn't want to believe it.

When Monday came Adaline knew what she was going to do. She was going to confront Maddy and see what she had to say. Adaline knew Maddy would probably deny it but she wasn't going to back down.

The Kingston girl decided to dress up for school. She wanted to go into the conversation with Maddy feeling confident. So she thought what better way to feel confident than dressing like a bad bitch.

Cassie pulled up outside of the Jacobs' house. Her jaw dropped when she saw Adaline walk out of the front door. The brunette wore a black cropped shirt with a tight cow print skirt. Her outfit hugged her curves perfectly. She had on a dark dramatic eye with her hair half up and half down. She felt like that bitch. It was the first time in awhile since she's felt that confident.

"Don't you usually get a ride with Nate?" Cassie asked as Adaline sat down in the passenger seat.

"Yeah but I knew he'd probably tell me to change and I do not feel like arguing with him. I figured it would just be easier to leave before him." She shrugged.

"Why would Nate care what you wear?"

"Do you not know Nate? He literally hates when I wear revealing stuff. He says he doesn't want people to call me a whore." Adaline rolled her eyes. She knew the real reason Nate didn't like her wearing revealing clothes in public was because he was extremely territorial. He didn't like guys looking at her body. In his mind he was the only one that had the privilege to see her like that.

But she couldn't tell Cassie that. She knew if Cassie found out about her and Nate sleeping together it would be a shit show. Cassie would ask a million questions and then she'd probably tell Maddy. And then of course Maddy would flip out even though when they slept together the two were broken up.

When the girls arrived at school Adaline headed straight to the bathroom. She knew that's where Maddy would be. The Perez girl had a daily routine that consisted of her going to the bathroom before homeroom to stare at herself in the mirror.

The bathroom door flung up and sure enough there was Maddy touching up her makeup. She turned her head to see who had flung the door opened and rolled her eyes when she saw it was Adaline. Maddy began to put her makeup back in her purse hoping to leave the bathroom but Adaline had other plans.

The brunette girl moved the garbage can in front of the door ultimately blocking it so that no one else could get in. She then positioned herself in front of the door as well to block Maddy in case she made a run for it.

"Um what the fuck do you think you're doing?"

"We need to talk." Adaline stated.

"Bitch I have nothing to say to you." Maddy said as she made a mover to leave.

Adaline quickly got in Maddy's face. "Fine you don't want to talk then just stand there and look pretty while I talk. It shouldn't be hard considering that's all your good at."

Maddy rolled her eyes but stayed quiet. She put her hands on her hips and titled her head looking at Adaline. Her foot tapped the floor impatiently as she waited to here what the brunette had to say.

"I don't know what I did to make you hate me but-" Maddy quickly cut Adaline off.

"You don't know what you did? You fucked my boyfriend. What didn't think I'd find out?" Maddy sneered.

"Okay first of all you and Nate were broken up when we got together. It's not like I purposely slept with him because I wanted to take him from you. Second you've literally been a bitch to me since I got back. You cut me off the day my parents died and I want to know why."

"Please you have always been jealous of me and Nate. Did you seriously think I was stupid enough not to notice the looks you guys would give each other. That's why you always told me to break up with him. You wanted him for yourself." Maddy ranted.

"That's literally so far from the truth. I wanted you to dump him because he's not good for you and your not good for him. I didn't like Nate like that then."

"And what about now? I see the way you look at him when he walks me to class."

"Omg this is so not what I wanted to talk to you about. Whatever's going on between me and Nate legit does not matter. I want to know why you cut me off. I mean fuck Maddy we used to be like sisters." Adaline explained.

"We were supposed to be like sisters and yet you still fucked MY man."

"I fucked Nate! So what? Who gives a fuck? At least I didn't fuck your dad!" Adaline screamed in Maddy's face.

Upon hearing those words Maddy immediately paled. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was hung open. For once the Perez girl was at a loss for words. She was too stunned to speak.

"Fuck!" Maddy cursed under her breath finally making eye contact with her ex-best friend. "Addie I don't-"

"You were sleeping with my dad. Your whole relationship with Nate you were cheating on him with my father. Please make me understand why? Why would you do that?" Adaline begged.

"He was paying me. It was just for the money Adaline. We would just hook up every Friday and then he'd give me cash or buy me things. It didn't mean anything to me. I didn't want you to find out."

"It was my father! You could have gotten literally any other guy to be your sugar daddy but you chose him."

"I know and I'm sorry. It just happened one night. It was your birthday and I got way too drunk. When you passed out in your bed I went down to your pool. I wanted to swim and well when I walked into the kitchen your dad was there. We were both super drunk. He was nice and we just talked and one thing led to another -"

"And you didn't think that maybe you should have stopped after that?" Adaline exclaimed.

"I tried to! I told him that it was a mistake and could never happen again but he begged me! He wouldn't leave me alone. He said he hadn't been with anyone as amazing as me in years. I guess I kind of pitied him but I knew it was wrong so I kept telling him no." Maddy tried to reason with Adaline.

"Then what he offered you money and you just spread your legs?" The brunette questioned.

"It wasn't like that. He bought me things and took me out. I guess I liked the attention. Everything was so crazy with my parents and Nate I just felt like I had no one to talk to and Nick was there. He was like a friend that would give me advice."

"Nick?" Adaline laughed at the use of her father's first name. "Did he give you advice before or after you slept with him? You seriously need help Maddy." Adaline stated as she turned and moved the garbage can away from the door. As she was about to walk out she turned to look at Maddy one last time. "You could have talked to me."

Was Adaline mad at Maddy? Of course she was but she mostly felt bad for the girl. She wished that Maddy would stop letting herself get manipulated by shitty men like her father.
