⋆ Chapter 8 ⋆Your Fly Is Down

As if Adaline's night couldn't get anymore chaotic she received a panicked call from Fezco at around 10 o'clock. Apparently his dealer had given Rue Fentanyl and she was really messed up. Adaline obviously being worried asked to borrow Marsha's car. When Cal asked what she needed it for she lied saying she had to make an emergency trip to the store for some female products. That naturally shut Cal up and got Adaline the car.

All the girl could think about while driving was the possibility of Rue overdosing again. Adaline wasn't a very religious person but in that moment she was praying to god that Rue would be okay.

Adaline arrived at Fez's and as she opened the door she could hear Fezco speaking to Ashtray.

"Go flush that shit down the toilet, and go grab the Narcan, just in case."

"Fez? What the hell happened?" Adaline demanded rushing towards him.

Fez sighed before turning to Adaline. "I tried to get her to leave before he came but she was bugging out. He gave her Fentanyl. I didn't know what the fuck to do he had a gun and shit. I didn't want Rue to get hurt." He rambled.

"Hey Fez it's okay. Rue will be fine. She's strong." Adaline said softly as she reassuringly rubbed his arm.

Adaline knew Fez wouldn't deliberately do anything to hurt Rue. She was like his family. She'd also heard from Ash when she used to babysit him what Fez's dealer was like so she knew he couldn't have done anything. Ash of course didn't like to call it babysitting but that's what it was. Fezco would pay her to watch and tutor him.

Adaline walked over to the couch that Rue was laying on. She could tell the curly haired girl was completely out of it.

"Hey Rue how are you doing?" She spoke caressing Rue's cheek.

"I'm so happy." Rue exclaimed.

"I know." The brunette nodded moving some hair out of Rue's face. She turned her attention back to Fez. "What are we going to do with her? She can't go home like this and the Jacobs' would freak if I brought her there."

"I uh think I know someone that could take her to theirs." Fezco nodded before going on his phone. "Yo, what's up? It's Fez. Yeah, look. I'm gonna need a little help with Rue. Yeah. ASAP."

Adaline was interested to know who he called. She knew Rue didn't have that many friends. She also knew Fezco didn't have Lexi's number so it definitely wasn't her. Adaline knew she probably could have called Lexi and she'd come over in a heartbeat but she knew Rue wouldn't want Lexi to take care of her.

The brunette sat on the couch with Rue's head in her lap. Ashtray was sitting on the ground by Adaline's legs watching Rue intently. Fez was on the couch opposite to them. They were all in their own thoughts waiting for this mystery person to come and get Rue.

Adaline was shocked when Fezco opened the door revealing the blonde that cut herself at McKay's party. She didn't know that her and Rue were friends. She might have if she paid attention at school instead of being so caught up in her own thoughts sadly thinking about none other than Nate Jacobs.

The blonde rushed over to Rue paying no attention to the brunette who's lap her head was resting on. Adaline watched as the blonde caressed Rue's cheek. Rue smiled looking at the girl. Adaline could tell from this little interaction that the two cared about each other.

The blonde looked up at Adaline and smiled. She had heard all about the brunette from Rue. She was eager to get to know the girl. She had a feeling that they could be really good friends. She would also be lying if she said she wasn't slightly attracted to the brunette sitting in front of her.

"I'm Jules." The girl spoke with a soft smile.

"Adaline." She replied with a smile.

"I know. Rue talks about you all of the time." She laughed.

"Well me and Rue go way back. Don't we Rue Rue?" Adaline asked looking down at the girl.

Rue still out of it laughed loudly. She reached one of her hands up to touch Adaline's cheek. Unfortunately, her aim was not the best and she ended up touching Adaline's nose. "You're so pretty."

Adaline chuckled. "So are you Rue." She looked back up at Jules. "Do you need a ride to your house? I can help you carry her."

"Oh um no it's fine. I think I can handle her." Jules smiled.

"Okay." Adaline said moving Rue's head under a pillow and standing up. "I'll see you later Rue. Get some rest."

"Bye bye Addie." Rue sang out.

Adaline shook her head smiling before looking at Fez and Ash. She walked over and tightly hugged both boys. "She'll be okay." She said before bending over to kiss Ashtray's cheek.

"Text me when you get home." Fezco instructed.

"Sure thing Fezzy." Adaline winked causing Fez to roll his eyes at the nickname. "It was nice meeting you Jules. Have Rue text me in the morning so I know she's okay."

Jules nodded as she watched Adaline walk out of the door. She glanced over at Ashtray noticing a faint blush on his cheeks. Fez just had a small smile on his face. It was in that moment that Jules realized how easy it was for people to be mesmerized by the beautiful brunette.

Nate and Adaline both pulled into the Jacobs driveway at the same time. Nate was out on his date with Maddy. Adaline was annoyed that he still chose to believe Maddy's lies. She rolled her eyes as they both walked towards the door at the same time.

"Your fly is down." She scoffed walking past him and into the house. Nate looked down and smirked before following Adaline.

It was late meaning that both Marsha and Cal were in bed. Aaron was nowhere to be seen which probably meant he was out partying somewhere. This left just Adaline and Nate alone in the kitchen.

"What are you like jealous?" Nate asked with a smirk.

"What's there to be jealous of?" She asked slyly. "I know for a fact Maddy doesn't make you feel the way I do."

Nate and Adaline were both taken back by the words coming out of her mouth. He knew she wasn't wrong but he would never admit it. He wasn't expecting his methods at making Adaline jealous to actually work but he had her right where he wanted her.

Nate smiled walking closer to the girl. He leaned down looking her directly in the eyes. "Are you jealous that I just fucked her? How do you feel knowing that I had my dick inside her?"

Adaline gulped. She was nervous having Nate so close to her. But she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction in knowing that he was getting to her. So she simply leaned even closer to him and moved her hand down to his crotch. She undid the button of his jeans and moved her hand inside his pants slipping past his boxers.

Nate sucked in a sharp breath as her hand gently stroked him. He was about to explode just from that touch alone. He knew she was right about having a greater affect on him than Maddy. Sometimes it took him forever to get hard with her but not with Adaline. All he had to do was hear her voice or smell her perfume and he'd be turned on.

Adaline pumped up and down a few times while leaning in and sucking on Nate's neck. She abruptly stopped when she was satisfied with the decently sized hickey front and center on the side of his neck for the world to view. She pulled her hand out of Nate's pants and kissed him softly on the lips before walking out of the kitchen and up the stairs to her bedroom.

"Holy fuck." He muttered as he stood in shock. He knew he was in for it with Adaline. She was just what he needed. And he was determined to have her.
