( Rhysand POV )
We were eating breakfast at a small cosy place that overlooked the Sidra. The morning air was mild yet crisp, and I raised an eyebrow at Feyre, tucking into her food across from me.
She met my gaze, but didn't pause as she bit into her chocolate pastry. And then she blushed. "I'm hungry, Rhys," she said with a shrug.
I raised my hands in surrender. "I didn't say anything," I retorted.
She scoffed at me, still digging into her food. "I could practically feel the judgement."
I grinned at her in response, and she initially rolled her eyes dramatically but eventually gave in to the smile that tugged at the corners of her mouth, as I knew she would.
We sat there, just smiling at each other like a couple of crazy fools until I leaned across the table to tuck a strand of her golden hair behind her right ear and extended my hand expectantly.
"Ready?" I asked once she had placed her small hand in mine.
"Mhm," she smiled, still holding my gaze as I got up and rounded the table to pull her up.
Sevenda approached us as we stood at the edge of the table, tucking her brown hair behind her ears with a warm smile that reached her caramel eyes. "Leaving so soon, High Lord and Lady?"
Feyre turned with an apologetic smile. "Thank you for the food Sevenda - it was wonderful. We've got some errands to run today, but we'll be back soon."
"No worries," she replied brightly. "If you wouldn't mind signing the bill," she extended a piece of parchment towards us, and Feyre and I both reached for it at the same time, both clearly having very different ideas in mind.
I narrowed my eyes at my mate, knowing her stubbornness all too well. "Feyre darling, I've got it."
Feyre subtly rolled her eyes at the endearment. "It's okay, Rhys," she said sweetly, "You always pay for everything. This one is on me."
"What's mine is ours, love," I countered, "So I don't think that it matters."
"What's mine is also ours, Rhysand," Feyre snapped, immediately widening her eyes when she realised that Sevenda was still standing there, looking between us amusedly.
I snapped my fingers before things could go any further, and the parchment disappeared into thin air. "That's all signed for you, Sevenda," I smiled at her, leaning down to smoothly brush a kiss against her cheek.
Feyre managed to tightly embrace Sevenda in farewell before exploding. "I should have left you to rot in bed," she hissed, storming off.
The restaurant owner smiled at me. "She's a fiery one."
I laughed. "She most definitely is." I bade her my farewells and thanked her for the food again, and then strolled off to find my lovely mate. But what she didn't know was that her name had been signed on the bill and not mine.

I am so sorry that this part was so short yet again but I'll be honest with you guys - this is all I have managed to write since the last time I updated :|
I am trying to get back on track but I thought that this would be better than keeping you guys waiting any longer right? So dw because there is more ;)
How is everyone doing? While you're waiting for the next bit go check out my book - Achilles' Heel ( totally not shamelessly plugging myself there haha ;) ) It would honestly mean the world to me and help me to grow my story :)
Leave a vote and I promise to be back soon :))
