Poor baby High Lord
22:22, 10 May 2020Hello my lovely people! I have returned... after a really l o n g time lol. If you want to know more about that, I explained it all in my previous update. I still don't really have any ideas on how to continue this fan fiction but honestly we're almost at 100k reads on this Feysand Fanfic and that is crazy. Can you even believe it? Obviously I could not have gotten to this position without all of you amazing guys so I am going to try to keep updating on here. If my writing style does seem a bit different I do apologise but I was looking over what I'd written before and I honestly couldn't even finish because I was cringing so hard lol. But let's be honest, Feysand can be a little cringe sometimes. But it's okay, because Rhysand could probably do the most cheesy of things and still make it look hot somehow lol.
Rowaelin are defo less cringe. Yes, you know what that means. I finally read the entire TOG series yayy!! I will unashamedly admit that I read all eight books in under two school weeks... lol send help. But I loved the books and they were so amazing.
Anyway, I hope you guys all enjoy more Feysanddd. Let's see if I can write something totally un-cringe-worthy for once lol.

(Feyre POV )
I awoke at the crack of dawn for once, which I hope Cassian would be extremely proud of me for considering that I had once been told that Illyrians savoured every inch of daylight hours even though we lived in the Night Court. How ironic. Thanks Mor for that one.
I left Rhysand still asleep, burrowed under the covers, in bed. He was honestly so dramatic. When I opened our curtains this morning, he had literally whimpered and buried his head under about five pillows, plus the covers.
I shook my head at his still sleeping figure, a small smile playing on my lips at the memory as I left our bathing room, having already washed up. He was sprawled out lazily, almost taking up the entirety of the large bed, and his wings didn't help that either. Typical. About sixty percent of the time I would end up opening my eyes in the morning to my mate lying on top of me, making me sweat profusely and my eyes water as I tried to breathe under the crushing weight of his muscular, perfectly sculpted body.
I still had to pick out an outfit to dress in for our morning but... I knew that Rhysand wasn't sleeping, not really, as I grabbed a pillow from his grasp and thumped it over his head. "Get up, sleepyhead."
Rhys let out an inhumane groan, and I almost burst out laughing as I watched his head poke out from his fort of blankets. His soft dark hair was mussed and sticking out all over the place, and his cheeks were shaded a faint red. Honestly, he looked like a puppy right now, what with the way his beautiful violet eyes were looking at me. A really adorable puppy. I smiled at him, amused by his behaviour, and reached out to poke his bottom lip which was sticking out, pushing it back in. "Can I ask why you're looking at me like that?"
He sniffled. "I think I have a cold."
I decided to play along with his little game. We had time.
I tapped his nose sympathetically. "Poor baby High Lord," I crooned.
This was one of my mate's few clear attempts to get attention from me. Rhys would never admit it, and some particular members of the Inner Circle would laugh so hard that they cried or pee his pants in Cassian's instance if they ever found out, but my mate absolutely loved it when I coddled him.
A hint of recognition and recall sparked in Rhys' eyes for just a second at my words, the very ones I had written to him in the snow outside my family's estate while I had meant to be training. That felt so long ago, almost a lifetime. It was there and gone so quick. Oh he hid it well. He must really not have wanted to go to this meeting.
I tilted my head at my mate's antics. "You're telling me that you have a cold in the middle of summer?"
He nodded. "Do you not believe me, Feyre Darling? I swear I have a fever. I'm probably burning up right at this very second..."
I pulled a pillow from under his head and hit him lightly in the face with it, "Yeah, probably because you've been skulking under about a million layers."
Rhysand emerged from under the pillow, flustered, and pouted at me.
I almost laughed. "I would find your desperation hilarious and tease you about it for centuries Rhys, if we had time, but we don't, so quit the act and get up."
His eyes glinted at the challenge. "Is that any way to speak to your High lord, Feyre Darling?"
I smirked. "You know it is, because I am High Lady of the Night Court, which may I remind you you were practically begging at my feet to get me to agree to that."
Rhys let out a feral growl, which sparked my insides, and almost had me demanding we forget this stupid meeting altogether.
"Careful," he warned, his attention fixed intensely on me. "Or we'll see what else that wicked mouth of yours says when I pull you into this bed and we don't make the meeting at all."
I made myself pull my eyes away from his burning gaze before I did anything I regretted, and scooted a safe distance away. Rhys grinned at me and I hissed at him in return. "Shut up."

(Rhys POV)
I scowled as another garment of the many from Feyre's closet was sent flying my way, this time hitting me square in the face.
When I pulled the item, this time a dress, from my face and discarded it behind me on our bed to join the ever growing pile of my mate's clothes, I was met with an exasperated Feyre throwing her arms out wide around her and looking at me with a wild expression drawn on her face. "What am I supposed to wear?"
"You know, Darling," I mused, "You did just empty out the contents of your entire wardrobe..."
"I know, Rhysand," she snapped at me.
I put an overly dramatic hand over my chest, feigning hurt. "Back to Rhysand?"
Feyre turned her glare on me, clearly not in the mood to deal with anyone. "It's your name, isn't it?"
I idly got up from the bed and sauntered over to my beautiful mate, taking both of her hands in mine on reaching her. "Calm down, my love. Besides, you know that you look absolutely ravishing in anything you wear. Or nothing," I added with a smirk.
It worked. Feyre blushed, avoiding my gaze and looking down to where our hands were intertwined in the space between our bodies. "You're a shameless flirt," she mumbled in a defeated tone.
I removed one of my hands from around hers and used it to tilt her chin up until her blue-grey eyes met mine. "That I am. But I'm also the most beautiful male you've ever seen," I replied cockily with a grin.
Feyre smiled softly, her entrancing eyes full of light. "And an Illyrian baby," she added.
"And that," I agreed, chuckling.

Oh my god guys, I feel like that was terrible. I really tried though not to make it cringe worthy.

Lol you can tell that I am desperately in need of the next ACOTAR book. Who else is excited for some Nessian??
I love you guys so much and comment if you've got any ideas on what I can write next.
