Days passes by... Jungkook is now more comfortable at the building and in the apartment after what happened to him that night... Hoseok would stopped by in his house to ask him if he wants to come along on doing the groceries, or sometimes Chae Yon would asked him if he already did the grocery and if he need some help—

Well the people around him always tell him that he shouldn't trust Taehyung but the younger would answer them... "It's my decision to trust him. At least let me... I'm not forcing you all to trust him— but at least give him a chance." That's what always he said whenever they told him "don't trust him." And somehow— that give some effect to them... they just found themselves slowly trusting Taehyung.

"Do you like him?" Hoseok asked as he handed an apple. Jungkook almost choked on his apple. "Hyung— why would you think that? Taehyung hyung is a new friend the same like you." Jungkook explains.

"Oh— okay just asking." Hoseok said as he nods but find the younger's answer not acceptable.

"You don't sound like you were convinced of my answer." Jungkook said and pout. "I mean there is a chance that you will like him?" Hoseok asked again and Jungkook remained silent... "hmm... I don't know." He answered because, that's what is the truth— he is not sure. Many things could happen in just such a short time so he doesn't want to talk something he is not sure with what will happen.

Jungkook knocked on Taehyung's door— he heard that the door was unlocked. "Ah Hoseok hyung and I baked some carrot cake today and I remember you told me that you liked sweets." Jungkook said. Taehyung smiled at the younger even if the younger can't see Taehyung... he always feel this genuine appreciation he receives from the older in front of him... "thank you." Taehyung said.

"Come inside." Taehyung said and hold his waist to assist him— gentleman indeed. Taehyung helped him to seat.

"I'll get you some drink." Taehyung said the. Left him at the livinb room... Taehyung's house was quite clean... even if the older always stopped by to eat something at his apartment he can smell that the older used strawberry air freshener. Jungkook heard a familiar voice.

Eh— that was me— Jungkook said.

Taehyung came back and saw Jungkook that looks like he was mesmerized with the person who was singing.

"Do you know him?" Taehyung asked and handed a glass of banana milk shake for Jungkook. "Ha?" It's me.

"Not super fan but I like his podcast." Jungkook answered.

"Yeah— Purplerabbit seems nice and cute. He is talented too..." Taehyung said smiling at the younger. Jungkook blushed— well he usually get some compliments too to his fans— but this is the first time he was hearing it.

"I became a fan when I was still in jail... I listened to him whenever I feel like I'm tired— he somehow helped me to convince that... we all make mistakes, and we are worthy of second chances..." Taehyung said. Jungkook kept listening to the older's words... he feels so proud that he was able to convey such thing while doing his random podcasts...

"I'm glad to hear that by listening to him you didn't give up." Jungkook said. Taehyung looked at him... why he was glad to someone like me? That was Taehyung's thoughts.

"Anyways— I should go now. Enjoy the cake." Jungkook said smiling at him. Of course the gentleman in Taehyung walked him back to his apartment.

"You sound so proud." Suhyuk said on the other line. Well Jungkook told him what happened to his day.

"Of course!" Jungkook said smiling.

"And seems like you and him are becoming closer— I think I should meet this Taehyung guy soon." Suhyuk said.

"Eh? Why you sounded like a rich father that wants to meet his daughter's suitor?" Jungkook asked confused.

Suhyuk gasped dramatically on the other line. "So he asked you out on a date?!"

"Uncle! Why you are so dramatic? Taehyung hyunv is my new friend." Jungkook explains calmly.

"We both somehow understand each other's company." Jungkook added.

"Okay okay." Suhyuk said and bid his goodbye to his favorite nephew.
