Felix's POV

(Next day)

I woke up early as I heard some news from the maids that someone sent a gift which is really unusual. That's when I realized it's from them. Right now, I am holding this gift with full of worries. Is this another threat?

I opened the gift with no hesitation and I found a dead hamster inside, with a note inside it which made me want to puke.

How are you, King Felix?

"Felix." Dad called as he entered my room

"Sorry I wasn't able to go to your room when you called me." I said and hurriedly hid the box but I failed, Dad already saw it and took it from my hands "I don't even know why these people still do such kind of pranks-"

"This is not the first time, Felix! You almost died one time because of an accident that those people caused. You received a lot of death threats, and you are telling me this is prank?" Dad

"It's fine. That's just some lame-"

"This is not fine! They want you dead, Felix. You still go outside without telling us even though your life is at stake. Felix, if this will happen continuously might as well give back the throne to me. I'd rather take the responsibility than lose you." Dad sounds like he is about to cry, but then he faked a smile

"I understand, but let me solve this. I will try to end this in the safest way. Don't worry. I'll not be harmed by them."

After that almost emotional conversation with Dad, I have decided to go to my office and take care of some papers. There are also some letters from the people of this country, and something that they request. I am not a human with magic, or some King from an enchanted kingdom. But I am trying my best to fulfill each one of them.

There was no wedding that happened between me and Sangmi. We both agreed not to continue it and take our time, if ever we failed to look for someone, then we will have to marry each other. As of now, she likes someone but doesn't have the courage to tell her parents about it.

Sungho, Chaerin's bestfriend and Sangmi's brother, is currently doing medical missions in all places here in our country. Specifically, he is a doctor now like Chaerin, but they never met each other yet. Lost of communication I guess.

"Your majesty." my personal assistant said as she knocked the door "You have visitors."

"Come in."

She entered and bowed, "Your friends are here, Chan, Jisung, and Minho."

"Oh, I'll go down. Can you throw the box you will see inside my room?"

"I think we should double your security, your highness. It's getting serious-" personal assistant

"Just double the security of my parents. I'll be fine."

She hesitated but she nod as an answer, then bowed and left the office.

I just arranged the papers on my table and hurriedly went downstairs. I saw my friends at the living room. They really went home? Cool. I get to see them after so many years.

"Long time no see."

Chan gave me a smile and said, "Yeah. Long time no see. You look really good."

"Yah! How dare you not go with Jeongin and Minho to pick us up? Huh?" Jisung said

"Stupid. He is a King. Why are you just saying yah like he is some ordinary rich man?" Minho rolled his eyes

"It's fine. Being treated like a King is something I am tired of. I mean, I missed everyone so much. It's so crazy that I can't get out of this place easily."

"Should we swap lives?" Jisung asked

"What are you saying?" Chan

"Anyway, I thought Seungmin is coming home?"

"Actually, he was with us, and Jeongin. But there are some plans that we all agreed to do, while we visit you, they went to Chaerin." Jisung explained

"So, they are with Chaerin?"

"Yeah. Right now." Minho

"Oh okay. Where's Hyunjin and Changbin?"

"Changbin is with Heiran, while Hyunjin is at the law firm. He has a lot of things to do." Chan

"Then we guys should agreed to meet on a specific date that we are all free."

"Are you really suggesting that?" Minho can't believe and even checked me

"Finally." Jisung laughed

"We are all free since we are on a vacation, but Hyunjin, Changbin, and you. I am not sure with the three of you." Chan

"I'll make time. I will make it up to you all."

"Yah. Are you serious? Don't say anything that will upset us soon." Jisung

"I'll make time. I promise. I am just really stress with what's happening, and I am trying to take the stress away."

"How about tonight? Let's drink." Minho suggested

"I'm always in." Jisung said

"I can't say no though." Chan said

"Yeah. I'm fine with it. Let's inform them and see if they will go."

"It's settled then. I have to go and visit Chaerin. I missed her so much." Jisung said

I smiled at him.

"I'll go with you. I haven't seen her for years. Besides, she probably have doctor or nurses friends to set me up with." Chan said

"She has a lot of friends. I'm telling you." Minho said

"But I don't think she will set you up on a blind date. She'd rather choose to not set you up and let you fall in love all by yourself."

Like how we fell in love with each other.
